HARNESS Racing New South Wales (HRNSW) have extended strategies to assist industry stakeholders during the continuing drought conditions.
HRNSW is providing an automatic $17.50 starters fee for all horses which contest races or trials (registered with HRNSW) per week through to 31st December 2019. It is not necessary to apply for the starters subsidy.
HRNSW is providing assistance for stud farms and breeding nurseries to obtain feed for broodmares and horses under two years of age by subsidising delivery costs through to the 31 December 2019 at which time the prevailing drought conditions will be reviewed.
