Alchin juggles a busy schedule

Menangle Park trainer-driver Rickie Alchin has horses racing all over the eastern seaboard this weekend.

During the week the 34-year-old mentor coordinated his team racing at Queensland’s harness racing tracks Redcliffe and Albion Park.

Today Alchin will head to Newcastle in NSW with two of his horses while he races three from his team at Albion Park.

It is at Queensland’s metropolitan meeting at Albion Park on Saturday night Alchin’s stable stars shine with Group 1 winner Soho Rhapsody tackling a $20,770 event against colts and geldings.

Alchin will also drive his in-form horses Watts Up Sunshine and Watts Up Majestic at that meeting.

It has been a big year for the horse breaker who has trained and driven three Group 1 winners this season.
