Race 1, Uroc N Warrior NZ - Scaramucci

Stewards concluded an inquiry at Dubbo on the 12th of July from Race 1 at Young on the 17th of March, into an incident leaving the 500 metres where UROC N WARRIOR NZ was checked and broke gait. At the inquiry, Driver G Rue pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that leaving the 500 metres, he shifted SCARAMUCCI out when not clear of UROC N WARRIOR NZ which was checked and broke gait. In assessing penalty, Stewards took into account G Rue’s guilty plea, his good driving record with regards to this rule and the particular circumstances of the incident. Driver G Rue had his license to drive in races suspended for a period of 7 days to commence at midnight the 15^th of July.
