RACE 1 – HRNSW GUARANTEED TWO YEAR OLD FILLIES PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from ELLEN SHANNON.

ELLA UNDER FIRE hung out in the early stages of the score up and locked wheels with HIGH ROLLIN BELMER causing both fillies to lose significant ground, and as a result the start was aborted.

LADY EUPHEME worked forward from the 1350 metres to obtain the lead passing the 1250 metres.

HEIDI BOOM and YARRAMAN FRANCO hung out passing the 900 metres and inconvenienced MISDEMEANOR.   

YORK MINSTER raced roughly passing the 250 metres.

ELITE BELMER was checked and broke approaching the 50 metres when finishing strongly and the filly ran out of racing room. In view of the recent record of ELITE BELMER, it will be given is last chance to race truly.

RACE 2 – GOLD CROWN CARNIVAL 22-29 MARCH TWO YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from PIKARSO.

OUR ROYS DREAM became unbalanced and galloped during the score up and as a result was out of position at the start. In view of the recent record of OUR ROYS DREAM, the gelding will be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

TOYA LOMBO became unbalanced and galloped shortly after the start. In view of the recent record of TOYA LOMBO, the colt will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

PIKARSO worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1050 metres.

SPORTY MICKILLA was caught racing three wide in the early stages before being restrained to the tail of the field approaching the 1300 metres.

GOTTA KICK over raced and raced roughly passing the 1200 metres.

GOTTA KICK over raced and hung out passing the 900 metres and inconvenienced SKEDADDLE SHANNON and TOYA LOMBO.

TOYA LOMBO became unbalanced and galloped at the 600 metres. In view of the colt’s recent record, TOYA LOMBO was stood down until it completes one requalifying trial.

Post race swab samples were taken from PIKARSO.

RACE 3 – CALCUTTA/BARRIER DRAW 25 MARCH THREE YEAR OLD MAIDEN PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from HEAVENLY SONG.

HEAVENLY SONG hung out in the score up and as a result was out of position at the start despite the effort of driver Peter Doody. In view of the recent record of HEAVENLY SONG, the filly will be given its last chance in the mobile barrier draw.

TAUMALOLO was out of position at the start despite the effort of driver Sam Hewitt. In view of the gelding’s recent record, TAUMALOLO will be given its last chance in the mobile barrier draw.

BETTORBEACES was caught racing wide in the early stages until obtaining the position outside the leader at the 1000 metres.

CLOSE TO THE SKY over raced during the early stages of the event.

HAPPYCHAPPYSHANNON was caught racing three wide in the early stages before being restrained to the tail of the field approaching the 900 metres.

SHEZ GRININ hung in passing the 700 metres and locked wheels with BETTORBEACES causing both runners to be checked and lose ground sharply, further checking CANNAN, HAPPYCHAPPYSHANNON and inconveniencing ARTISTIC HUMMA. In view of the recent record of SHEZ GRININ, a warning was issued.

SHEZ GRININ hung in and raced roughly approaching the 200 metres.

CLOSE TO THE SKY commenced to tire from the 500 metres.

Post race swab samples were taken from WOLF STRIDE.

RACE 4 – LADIES NIGHT MARQUEE 27 MARCH MAIDEN PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from JEWELS STRIDE.

SUNRAY STORM was caught racing three wide in the early stages before being restrained to the tail of the field approaching the 1300 metres.

BANJO SAFARI was caught racing wide in the early stages until obtaining the position outside the leader at the 1250 metres.

JEWELS STRIDE over raced during the early stages of the event.

JEWELS STRIDE hung out at the 250 metres and contacted the offside sulky wheel of BANJO STRIDE causing JEWELS STRIDE to stumble.

BANJO SAFARI tired over the concluding stages of the event.

RACE 5 – AMBROSE GOLF DAY 28 MARCH LADYSHIP PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from SPORTY.

JOHANNA PETRONELLA became unbalanced and galloped at the 1550 metres, checking DANCING IN MANOLOS and SPORTY. In view of the mare’s recent record, JOHANNA PETRONELLA was stood down for 28 days and until it completes four requalifying trials.

ECCENTRIC worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1250 metres.

ESTHER BURNS was tightened for racing room approaching the 250 metres and contacted a number of marker pegs.

Post race swab samples were taken from ASPIRING STRIDE.

RACE 6 – HONOUREE DINNER 28 MARCH PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from MILWAUKEE STRYDER.

MISTER STEWART was caught racing three wide in the early stages before being restrained to the tail of the field approaching the 1200 metres.

SHOWEM SIMON improved three wide from the 1100 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 850 metres.

SEA KINGDOM was unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight on the final occasion.

JEDDA SHANNON hung in under pressure over the concluding stages of the event.

Post race swab samples were taken from SHOWEM SIMON.

RACE 7 – FINAL NIGHT MARQUEE 29 MARCH PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from RODANTHE NIGHTS.

MICHAELS DESIRE was caught racing wide in the early stages until obtaining the lead passing the 1250 metres.

PUFFNSTUFF was caught racing wide in the early stages until obtaining the position outside the leader at the 1200 metres.

SPOOKY DREAMS was caught racing wide in the early stages until obtaining the position outside the leader at the 950 metres.

LUKES GIFT was unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight on the final occasion.

ROADANTHE NIGHTS will now be re-included into the mobile barrier draw.

Post race swab samples were taken from MICHAELS DESIRE.

RACE 8 – GOLD CROWN PACEWAY PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from MISTER HAYWOOD.

ELLE YEAH was slow to begin.

LORENZO SHANNON was caught racing wide in the early stages until obtaining the position outside the leader at the 1250 metres.

ELLE YEAH improved three wide from the 1000 metres and proceeded to race wide for the remainder of the event.

LORENZO SHANNON commenced to weaken from the 300 metres, checking SHANNONSTHEMAN and inconveniencing RUTH SHANNON.

MISTER HAYWOOD was unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight on the final occasion.
