RACE 1 – RAY WHITE RURAL EMMS MOONEY REAL ESTATE HEAT 1 – 2000 metres

 

HEY SUZIE – Pre-race blood sample.  Obtained inside running in the early stages of the run to the finish.  Shied away from flags on the in field and shifted out and inconvenienced the running of WHISKIESONTHEBEACH.  Post-race swab sample.

ROYAL FEELING – Tightened for racing room passing the post on the final occasion.

WHISKIESONTHEBEACH – Shifted out under pressure in the early stages of the run to the finish.  Inconvenienced passing the 50 metres.

SPOOKY DREAMS – Pre-race blood sample. 

MENDOZA LASS – Raced roughly entering the first turn and was caught wide obliging to be restrained to the rear of the field.  Had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages. 

 

RACE 2 – BLAYNEY NEWSAGENCY HEAT 2 – 2000 metres

 

PROMISE TO ROCK – Hung out prior to entering the back straight on the final occasion.  Shifted out and contacted the nearside hind leg of ROCKNROLL DUDE.  As a result, ROCKNROLL DUDE was checked and broke stride.  It was placed on its last chance to race truly with Driver N Turnbull advised that greater care needs to be taken in similar circumstances.  Post-race swab sample.

DINOSAURUS REX – Pre-race blood sample.  Was checked rounding the first turn. 

EAST UP TURBO – Pre-race blood sample.  Was inconvenienced rounding the first turn.

LOTTA LAUGHS – Broke stride entering the first turn and again broke stride as the field raced out of the back straight on the final occasion.  Driver J Davis reported to Stewards that the mare had a tendency to strike its own sulky through the event and over raced and was not suited to the track.  Upon consideration, Stewards placed the mare on its last chance to race truly.  A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

ROCKNROLL DUDE – Inconvenienced when rounding the first turn.  Was checked and broke stride prior to entering the back straight on the final occasion where shortly thereafter the offside front hopple loop became entangled with the knee boot and as a result blundered.  A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

 

RACE 3 – SQUIRES SIGNS/TCN EARTHMOVING HEAT 3 – 2000 metres

 

BEAST MODE – Post-race swab sample. 

ABERCROMBIE TAB - Re-included in the mobile barrier draw.

FOUR FOR THE ROAD – Pre-race blood sample.  Was checked when rounding the first turn.

KYLE SHANNON – Checked when rounding the first turn. 

TOPHUT JOHNY - Pre-race blood sample.  Broke stride rounding the first turn.  Connections were advised that the gelding would be stood down until it could requalify on one occasion.

 

RACE 4 – TAB ODDS & EVENS PACE –  1640 metres

 

CATHY BROWN NZ – Post-race swab sample.

NEGATIVE NANCY – Pre-race blood sample.

IM ALL STARZZZ – Re-included in the mobile barrier draw.

FOUR STARZZZ CHEF – Pre-race blood sample.

BLOOD MONEY – Broke stride when leaving the home straight with a lap remaining.  A warning was issued.

PEQUENO ELL – Severely checked when rounding the turn out of the home straight on the final occasion.

 

RACE 5 – DON & FREDA CALLAN MEMORIAL – 2000 metres

 

TACT BESS NZ – Post-race blood sample. 

MISTER HAYWOOD – Pre-race blood sample. 

COOLIE KID NZ – Pre-race blood sample.  Was unable to gain clear running over the concluding stages.

 

RACE 6 – MID-WEST CONCRETE PACE – 2000 metres

 

ROCKN AND ROLLN – Pre-race blood sample.  Post-race swab sample.

RANIERI NZ – Raced rough in the middle stages of the score up.  Stewards questioned Driver A Turnbull in relation to the performance.  A Turnbull reported that after finding the position outside the lead, did attempt to challenge for the lead position however was unsuccessful at which point the horse commenced to over race to a degree which believes was to the detriment of it chances and the main contributing factor to the performance.  Stewards noted her comments.

REMEMBER KAISER – Was restricted for racing room rounding the final turn.

KEEPING IT REAL – Tightened for racing room rounding the final turn and contacted marker pegs. 

REAL DASH NZ – Pre and post-race veterinary examination with no abnormalities reported.

FANTASY LEVEL – Pre-race blood sample.  Driver J Wade was cautioned in relation to closing down the track when rounding the final turn which had restricted the racing room of REMEMBER KAISER which in turn tightened the racing of KEEPING IT REAL which contacted marker pegs.
