RACE 1 – TERRY BROTHERS MAIDEN PACE – 1660 metres

 

BRAZEN HUSTLER – Was fractious in the early part of the score up.  Connections were advised that the gelding would be given its last chance in the draw.

TURBO ROCKET – Had a tendency to over race whilst leading the event.  Driver M Sullivan was fined the sum of $200 under Rule 156(2) for applying his whip  in more than a flicking motion over the final stages of the race.

POPPY FRANCO – Was caught racing three wide in the early stages until being restrained to the tail of the field at the 1400 metres.

SPORTY CONFESSIONS – Pre-race blood sample collected.  

YOU LOOK WELL – Inconvenienced in the early stages of the score up and as a result was out of position at the start.  Post-race swab sample collected.

MILLIE THE FILLIE – Broke stride in the early stages of the score up and as a result was out of position at the start.  Connections were advised the filly would be continued out of the draw in future mobile starts.

 

RACE 2 – LANGLANDS HANLON PACE – 2040 metres

 

LIMBO LARRY – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having his 230th race start.  No obvious abnormalities were detected.  Post-race swab sample.

BRADNESS ABUELA – Had a tendency to over race throughout the race.

TWO FIVE EIGHT – Pre-race blood sample.   Driver B Jones wished to view the photo finish prior to the all-clear being given, after viewing such all clear was given on the judges numbers.

WEONA BLASTER – Was caught racing three wide in the early stages until being restrained to the tail of the field at the 1600 metres. 

I GOTTA GO BYE – Tired from the 400 metres to be beaten 58.5 metres.  Driver N Turnbull could offer no reasonable explanation for the poor performance.  Considering the individual mile rate of 2.07.5 and the distance beaten the gelding will be stood down for one requalifying trial.

 

RACE 3 – PARKES LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN PACE – 1660 metres

 

ROLLON TALLYHO – When beginning to yield ground at the 600 metres raced roughly for some distance.  As a result, TACKAS PRINCESS was checked and SOLDTOYOUSIR was inconvenienced at that stage.  N Turnbull could offer no reasonable explanation for the reason the gelding tired over the final 600 metres to be beaten 72 metres.  Considering the racing manners and the individual mile rate of 2.06.3 and the overall performance. The gelding will be stood down for 2 requalifying trials and stood down for 14 days.

SOLDTOYOUSIR – Was inconvenienced at the 600 metres when ROLLON TALLYHO raced roughly.  The filly tired over the concluding stages.  Driver M Hutchings stated that the filly was first up for a considerable time and when inconvenienced at the 600 metres dropped the bit at that stage.  Connections were advised the filly will be given its last chance to race truly.

BELL RIVER BOY – Post-race swab sample.

TACKAS PRINCESS – Was checked at the 600 metres by ROLLON TALLYHO.

KARINYA JUDE – Became unbalanced and broke stride at the 300 metres.  A warning was issued.

PREACHER QUINCE – Pre-race blood sample.  

 

RACE 4 – TAB ODDS & EVENS PACE – 2040 metres

 

VALENTEENO – Raced roughly when negotiating the first turn.  A warning was issued. The gelding raced three wide from the start to obtain the position outside the leader at the 1700 metres. 

BURRABADINE DREAM – Surrendered the lead to MISTER MYSTERIOUS at the 1800 metres.  Was held up for clear racing room over the final 100 metres. 

MISTER MYSTERIOUS – Pre-race blood sample.   Worked forward to take over the lead from BURRABADINE DREAM at the 1800 metres.  Driver J Reynolds pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 162(1)(y) for failing to adhere to the minimum time standards set when leading a race.  J Reynolds was fined the sum of $100.  Post-race swab sample.

HARDLINER – Despite the efforts its driver was out of position at the start.  A warning was issued.

 

RACE 5 – COL FLETCHER FORD PACE – 1660 metres

 

IM ALRITE – Was held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and was not fully tested. 

SAILALONG SINBAD – Raced three wide in the early stages until finding a position in the running line at the 1500 metres.

PRINCESS ANGEL – Was out of position at the start.  No action was taken due to the speed of the mobile. 

MIGHTY JOE – Worked forward three wide from the 900 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader at the 550 metres.  Post-race swab sample.

HOLY CAMP ROB – Pre-race blood sample.  Raced three wide with a trail for the final 900 metres of the event.  

 

RACE 6 – BYRNE CLOTHING LADYSHIP

 

HOLY CAMP PAXTON – Post-race swab sample.

THE GIRLS HAVE IT – Raced three wide in the early stages until obtaining the position outside the leader at the 1600 metres.

ALLY ROGAN – Raced four wide in the early stages of the event, then three wide in the middle stages until being restrained to the tail of the field at the 1100 metres. Raced three wide with a trail for the final1000 metres . Driver D Hewitt was questioned in relation to his tactics throughout the race. D Hewitt stated it was his intentions to work forward from the start to race handy to the lead, when the position outside the leader was not available at the 1500 metres, he decided to restrain to the tail of the field. D Hewitt further stated he took longer to restrain than anticipated as the filly was racing keenly. When AUNTY MILLIE worked forward at the 1100 metres he elected to trail that runner as his drive was travelling well. D Hewitt was disappointed when the mare failed to run on over the final 400 metres. Mr Hewitt`s comments were noted.

GABBYS IDEAL – Was held up in the early stages of the home straight until obtaining clear running over the final 100 metres.

PROMISE TO ROCK – Was held up in the run to the finish and was fully tested.

AUNTY MILLIE – Pre-race blood sample.   Raced three wide with a trail from the1600 metres until being restrained to the tail of the field at the 1200 metres.  Raced three wide for the final 1100 metres.

 

RACE 7 – PARKES FARM CENTRE PACE – 2040 metres

 

MY FLYING SPUR – Broke stride shortly after the start.  A warning was issued.  Was inconvenienced at the 1800 metres when COMMANCHI WARRIOR and COBBITY CHIC locked wheels. 

CAMANCHI WARRIOR – Locked wheels with COBBITY CHIC and was checked at the 1800 metres.  As no one horse or driver could be totally to blame for this incident no further action was taken.  Was inconvenienced at the 250 metres when avoiding MO CHARA and COBBITY CHIC who had locked wheels. 

MO CHARA – Was inconvenienced at the 1800 metres when avoiding COMMANCHI WARRIOR and COBBITY CHIC who had locked wheels.  Approaching the 200 metres when shifting out locked wheels with COBBITY CHIC.  At a subsequent enquiry driver D Harris pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that approaching 200 metres when attempting a run between WHISKIESONTHEBEACH and COBBITY CHIC  where there was insufficient room, has locked wheels with COBBITY CHIC checking both runners.  Considering D Harris’ early guilty plea, his record in relation to this rule, Mr Harris’ licence to drive in races was suspended for a period of 7 days to commence of midnight 5 July 2020.

COBBITY CHIC – Locked wheels with COMMANCHI WARRIOR and was checked at the 1800 metres.   As no one horse over driver could be totally to blame for this incident no further action was taken.  Locked wheels with MO CHARA and was checked approaching the 200 metres. 

ANOTHER BUDDY – Was inconvenienced at the 200 metres when avoiding MO CHARA and COBBITY CHIC.

SHADOW ECLIPSE – Was inconvenienced at the 1800 when avoiding COMMANCHI WARRIOR and COBBITY CHIC who had locked wheels.  The gelding had a tendency to over race throughout the event.

BID FOR RED – Pre-race blood sample.   Was inconvenienced at the 1800 when avoiding COMMANCHI WARRIOR and COBBITY CHIC who had locked wheels.  Driver S Burley was issued a was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference , when shifting up the track at the 400 metres has done so when not clear of COMMANCHI WARRIOR and as a result that horse was inconvenienced.  Was inconvenienced at the 250 metres when shifting wider to avoid MO CHARA and COBBITY CHIC who had locked wheels.  Post-race swab sample.  

CARLAS ANGEL – Was a late scratching at 10.07am on Vets advice. 

GOODTIME SLATER – Was a late scratching at 10.29am on Vets advice.

 

RACE 8 – CLARINDA PARK IT PACE – 1660 metres

 

BELLA BALL TERROR – Pre-race blood sample.  Post-race swab sample.

RING THE TILL NZ – Was out of position at the start.  Due to the speed of the mobile no further action was taken.  Raced three wide with a trail over the final 750 metres. 

ZIGGY ROCKS – Raced three wide for the final 700 metres.
