RACE 1 – TAB ODDS & EVENS PACE 1609 metres

ATTAHUA ACE – Held up for clear running and was not fully tested.

BETTERBEACES - Driver L Muirhead was reprimanded under Rule 156(2)(a) in that he applied the whip to the gelding in a manner which was considered not to be a wrist only flicking motion and had generated force from his elbow.

LISTEN TO LEXY – Pre-race blood test.

BLISSFULL IDENTITY – Hung out momentarily at the 600m.

STORM BLASTER - Driver M Young was reprimanded under Rule 156(2)(a) in that she applied the whip to the mare in a manner which was considered not to be a wrist only flicking motion and had generated force from her elbow. Sent to be swabbed.

FREDDIES DELIGHT – Hung out for the majority of the event. Hampered and raced roughly when BLISSFULL IDENTITY hung out and lost momentum at the 600m. Held up for clear running and was not tested.

RACE 2 – MULTIQUIP POULTRY PACE - 1609 metres

APOLLON – Sent to be swabbed.

SURF ERA – Pre-race blood test. Galloped approaching the first turn. Given its record, it was placed on its last chance in the mobile barrier draw.

FLIGHTNFIGHT – Galloped at the start. The gelding snapped it’s near hind hopple loop and was retired from the event. The gear was inspected and found to be of satisfactory condition.

TRALEE CHIC - Driver C Shepherdson was reprimanded under Rule 156(2)(a) in that he applied the whip to the mare in a manner which was considered not to be a wrist only flicking motion and had generated force from his elbow.

NICE ONE JON – Hampered slightly near the first turn.

RACE 3 – HAZELLS FARM & FERTILIZER SERVICES PACE – 1609 metres

LOUTHPARK XSRESSO – Pre-race blood test. Sent to be swabbed.

RACE 4 – KTR STANDARDBRED STUD PACE - 1980 metres

LUTZYS DREAM – Sent to be swabbed.

SMELLTHECHEESE – Pre-race blood test. Galloped at the start. Given its record, it will now be excluded from the mobile draw.  

POWER TO BOLT – Galloped at the 150m. Given its record a warning was issued.   

PENNY A PACKET – Held up for clear running and was not tested.

BELLA GODIVA – Held up for clear running and was not tested.

RACE 5 – KENNARDS HIRE TAMWORTH PACE - 1980 metres

Declared a no race.

A PARADIGM SHIFT – Near the 1400m the clip on the crupper snapped and as a result the hopples dropped around the geldings legs and as a result A PARADIGM SHIFT galloped and was pulled out of the event at the 1300m. As a result of the gear issue, the gelding was unable to be moved from the track, therefore the no-race siren was activated when the field reached the 700m. Given the distance the field had raced, Race 5 was declared a no race.   

BETAWENIMDANCIN – Pre-race blood test.

RACE 6 – TAMWORTHHARNESSRACINGCLUB.COM.AU PACE - 1980 metres

FANTASIZE NZ – Gave ground over the final 500m. Trainer C Harmey was disappointed in the performance and could not quite pinpoint the reason for the poor performance.

IM SO BETTER – Pre-race blood test.

MAC STUBBORN - Driver A Varga was fined $400 under Rule 156(2)(a) in that he applied the whip to the gelding in a manner which was considered not to be a wrist only flicking motion and had generated force from his elbow. Sent to be swabbed.  

SUMTHIN SPECIAL NZ – Galloped in the score up and took no competitive part thereafter. RACE 7 – TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE – 1980 metres

ONAHI DELIGHT – Commenced to weaken from the 700m and finished distanced. Connections were advised that the gelding is required to requalify before racing again.

ROCKNROLL RHYTHM – Driver B Hughes was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) in that he failed to bring the gelding up into position. Sent to be swabbed.  

JUST TOMMY – Gave ground over the final 500m.

BROADWATER – gave ground over the final 500m.

FLESHING NZ – Pre-race blood test.

RACE 8 – HYGAIN MICRSPEED PACE – 1609 metres

SHADOW PASS NZ – Pre-race blood test.

ALLIYAHS CHOICE – Sent to be swabbed.

SUR LE FEU NZ – A false start was declared when the gelding was fractious in the early stages of the score up and locked wheels with NAVUA GIRL. Given its record a warning was issued. The gelding raced roughly rounding the first turn. The gelding the commenced to weaken from the 650m and finished distanced. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from both nostrils. Connections were advised that SUR LE FEU will now be stood down for 3 months, is required to produce a veterinary certificate and is required to requalify before racing again.
