SUPPLEMENTARY

TAMWORTH 7 OCTOBER 2021

RACE 3 – APG SYDNEY SALE 6^TH MARCH 2022 PACE – 1980 metres

JUSTLIKEBOOMER – Trainer J Mordue reported back to Stewards that blood samples collected from JUSTLIKEBOOMER revealed no abnormalities and further advised would continue on with its preparation.

 

 

RACE 1 – XMAS PARTIES @ THE PACEWAY PZCE – 1609 metres

 

THE CREEK – Had a tendency to hang in whilst under pressure over the concluding stages.

DONEDEAL – Pre-race sample was taken.  Galloped away as the start was affected.  A warning was issued.

GIVE ME A MINUTE – Post-race sample was taken. 

MONDOS EAGLE – Pre-race sample was taken.  

ITS INEVITABLE NZ – Hampered shortly after the start was affected.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed it to be somewhat lame in the near side fore leg.  Acting on veterinary advice it was stood down until a veterinary certificate of fitness is produced.

 

RACE 2 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres

 

LA LA BRON – Pre-race sample was taken.   Post-race sample was taken.  

BETTER THAN CARMER – Pre-race sample was taken.  

WAITING FOR LOVE – Had a tendency to hang in throughout various stages of the event and most severe entering the home straight on the first occasion where it contacted marker pegs.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.  A warning was issued.

 

RACE 3 – PSC INSURANCE BROKERS NEWCASTLE PACE – 2030 metres

 

AUDACE – Broke stride in the early stages of the score up and again whilst chasing prior to the start being affected taking no competitive part in the event.  Connections were advised that it would be placed on its last chance in the mobile barrier draw.

A PARADIGM SHIFT – Driver B Pringle was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that prior to entering the home straight for the run to the finish permitted his runner to shift wider on the track which restricted the racing room of LIGHTNING BOB (D Morgan) when to the inside of MILITARY MAN NZ  which hung in slightly  (M Formosa) as a result LIGHTNING BOB was hampered.

BLAZING SHANNON – Pre-race sample was taken. 

ROCKTAGONAL – Post-race sample was taken.  

 

RACE 4 – ID21 @ NEWCASTLE 5 DECEMBER PACE 1609 metres

 

YESNOMAYBESO – Broke stride in the early stages of the score up.  A warning was issued.  Had a tendency to shift ground up the track whilst under pressure over the concluding stages. 

GROSESTAR – Tightened for racing room inside the final 50 metres. 

SKY DIAMOND NZ – Pre-race sample was taken.

ROCKNROLL SWINGER – Post-race sample was taken.  

ULTRA BLISS – Pre-race sample was taken.

DAYS END – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. 

 

RACE 5 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1609 metres

 

HIDDEN EMBER – Checked and race roughly as the field negotiated the first turn.

CONNERMAN – Pre-race sample was taken.

ROCKNROLL TONY – Driver T Ison pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when entering the first turn closed down the track without the required clearance over HIDDEN EMBER resulting in that runner being checked and racing roughly.  Driver T Ison’s licence to drive in races was suspended for a period of 14 days.  When considering penalty Stewards took into account his guilty plea in addition to driving record in relation to interference.

WALLAROY BOY – Post-race sample was taken.  

MOONLIGHT CRUISER – Stewards queried driver B Greenwood in relation to the tactics adopted. He relayed that when caught racing three wide had the intention of moving forward to the position outside of the leader however was unable to muster the necessary speed to cross to the running line and was left wide for the majority of the event. Stewards noted his comments.

CHATHERUP – Galloped away as the start was affected.  Connections were advised that it will continue to be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.

ITZ A MAGICTIME – Pre-race sample was taken.  Upon request from connections approval was given for it to be re-included into the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 6 – TOOHEYS PACE – 1609 metres

 

PARABELLUM – Pre-race sample was taken.

MISS SERENDIPITY – Driver M Grant was reprimanded under Rule 170(1)(b) in that when activating the deafeners rounding the final turn dropped his foot below the foot rest.

WHAT NOW SHANNON – Post-race sample was taken.  

HASLER – Pre-race sample was taken. 

 

RACE 7 – COCA COLA PACE – 1609 metres

 

ROBYN TAYLOR – Placed in restricted racing room entering the first turn.

BREEZER BOY – Had a tendency to hang in shortly after the start was affected and approaching the first turn placing ROBYN TAYLOR in restricted room.  A warning was issued.

WRITE ABOUT HER – Post-race sample was taken.  

SKY OPERATIVE – Pre-race sample was taken.

MAYWYN TOUGH – Pre-race sample was taken.

 

RACE 8 – WOLF BLASS PACE – 1609 metres

 

RINTIN – Had a tendency to hang in approaching the 1100 metres and contacted marker pegs.  Post-race sample was taken.  

NUART – Pre-race sample was taken.  Broke stride as the field left the back straight on the final occasion and continued to gallop for the remainder of the event.  A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities however was uneven in its gait in front.  Stewards advised connections that it would be stood down until one requalifying trial is completed in addition a stand down from racing until a veterinary certificate of fitness is produced.

LOUTPARK XSRESSO – Pre-race sample was taken.

ROGER THAT – Driver B Elder was fined the sum of @200 under Rule 156(2)(a) in that when applying the whip over the concluding stages did so in an unapproved manner.

 

RACE 9 – THE TAB APP MAIDEN PACE – 2030 metres

 

MYSTIC EAGLE – Pre-race sample was taken.

AQUABABE – Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten a considerable distance.  Driver B Elder could not offer any suitable explanation for the performance.  Connections were advised it would be stood down until one requalifying trial is completed.

FEELING LUCKY – Post-race sample was taken.  

JUST FEELNGOOD – Pre-race sample was taken.
