RACE 1 – J W O’SULLIVAN & SONS PACE – 1770 metres

TO THE LOOKOUT – Over raced throughout the event.

LA TOISON DOR – Post race swab.

OUR SAMS HOME – Pre race blood test. Over raced throughout the event.

 

RACE 2 – OSKAR MEMORIALS PACE – 1770 metres

CRIME TIME – Worked forward before finding the position outside the leader passing the 1450 metres.

DUNNO JOE - Pre race blood test. Post race swab.

SAFARI DANCER – Over raced throughout the event.

 

RACE 3 – TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE – 1770 metres

MAJOR JAMANE – Inconvenienced rounding the first turn when CHASE THE FEELING broke. Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

MISS AEYLA - Pre race blood test. Driver Peter McRae was cautioned for allowing his left foot to drop below the sulky stirrup.

PARK RUN – Inconvenienced rounding the first turn when CHASE THE FEELING broke.

CHASE THE FEELING – Became unbalanced and broke gait shortly after entering the first turn. In view of the gelding’s recent record CHASE THE FEELING will be required to perform one re – qualifying trial. Raced roughly between the 800 and the 700 metres before beginning to tire to be beaten 79.5 metres. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal and obvious abnormalities and no further action was taken against its performance due to CHASE THE FEELING breaking on the first turn.

NIGHT TO REMEMBER - Post race swab.

CALA GRECA – Driver Jason Turnbull was fined $400 under rule 156(2)(a) for applying the whip in more than a wrist only flicking motion shortly after leaving the mobile. Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

ONETWO THREECHEESE – Over raced throughout the event.

TWILIGHT HEAVEN – Driver Lleyton Green was issued a reprimand under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for interference in that passing the 400 metres he has allowed TWILIGHT HEAVEN to shift up the track when not fully clear of ICANTSEE causing that runner to race roughly.

SKREEMR NZ – Commenced a three wide run passing the 1000 metres.

ICANTSEE – Commenced a three wide run with cover passing the 950 metres. Passing the 400 metres was checked and raced roughly when TWILIGHT HEAVEN was moving wider on the track.

 

RACE 4 – GLEN MIA ACT SADDLERY PACE – 1770 metres

NOWHERENEAR CRAZY – Pre race blood test. Caught wide in the early stages before working forward to find a position outside the leader passing the 1450 metres. Post race swab.

FORANEYE – Over raced throughout the event. Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested. Re – included into the mobile barrier draw.

LIGHT UP LILY –Re - included into the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 5 – WINTER HAS ARRIVED PACE – 2170 metres

PIKARSO – Became unbalanced and broke gait approaching the 200 metres. In view of the geldings recent record PIKARSO will be required to perform one re – qualifying trial. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

CLEMENTSORRELL – A pre and post race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Slow to begin from the mobile.

THE TALK - Pre race blood test. Post race swab.

JOETOMO – Became unbalanced and broke gait passing the 250 metres. In view of the geldings recent record a warning was issued to JOETOMO.

FLEETWOOD ROCK – Driver Scott Osmond was cautioned for applying one strike of the whip to the gelding past the winning post.

 

RACE 6 – AV MARBLE STONE & GRANITE PACE – 1770 metres

CAN CAN DANCER – Driver Lleyton Green was questioned in relation to the overall performance and seemingly below market expectation of the filly having started $1.15 favourite and not running on in the home straight to be beaten 10.9 Metres. Mr Green stated that the filly had to be used off the gait to hold the front, opposed to its last start where it was able to work forward and from that point the filly didn’t settle as he would of liked and over raced throughout the event. Mr Green also stated he felt that tonight’s event was slightly stronger than its previous run at Bankstown. Stewards noted the comments of Mr Green.

GOLD CHESTER –Late scratching at 1:08pm acting on veterinary advice.

 

RACE 7 – ACT TYREPOWER BELCONNEN MAIDEN PACE – 1770 metres

LAST TIME JOE - Post race swab.

ELLAS REASON - Pre race blood test.

SAPPHIRE ROCK –Late scratching at 9:30am acting on veterinary advice.

PABLOS ART –Caught wide in the early stages of the event before finding a position in the running line passing the 1450 metres.

SINGLE SHOT – Out of position at the start and will be continued out of the draw in mobile starts. Slow to begin.

 

RACE 8 – EXQUISITE JEWELLERS KIPPAX TROTTERS MOBILE – 1770 metres

CRITICAL ADVANTAGE – Worked forward to find the lead passing the 1300 metres. Post race swab.

THE GOLD STANDARD NZ – Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to last passing the 1400 metres.

ERATIGENA – Broke gear passing the 350 metres when the near side lugging pole became dislodged.

JUNGLE SPIDER - Pre race blood test.

JUNGLE EYES –Re - included into the mobile barrier draw.
