RACE 1 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1720 metres

EYE CAN TRY – Post-race swab sample.

ZEN MASTER – Pre-race blood sample.  

 

RACE 2 – STARZ GAME SHOW SATURDAYS 7.30PM @ CLUB PACEWAY PACE – 2125 metres

The all clear of this event was delayed to allow Stewards the opportunity to review the available replays in relation to AGIFTFROMTHEANGELS being slow to begin which resulted in RIO DE JANEIRO BLUE NZ, which was drawn behind, being inconvenienced shortly after the start.  Upon review Stewards were satisfied the racing manners of AGIFTFROMTHEANGELS were the sole contributor of this occurrence and a warning was subsequently issued.  The all clear was subsequently given on the judge’s numbers.

GREY CADILLAC – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races.  These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.  Post-race swab sample.

STELLINA – Pre-race warm up.

RIO DE JANEIRO BLUE NZ – Inconvenienced shortly after the start when AGIFTFROMTHEANGELS was slow to begin

RADIANT AMBER – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races.  These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.

LILS NIGHTMARE NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 3 – CHRISTMAS IN JULY @ CLUB PACEWAY BOOK NOW PACE – 2125 metres

EBBONY STORM – Tired over the concluding stages to finish in last placing beaten 53.2 metres however in view of the relatively fast mile rate of 1:56:1 no action was taken.

SINALOA – Post-race swab sample.

WILD CARD NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

SNOW HUNTER – Declared a late scratching at 3.33pm acting on veterinary advice.

TAKE THE DEAL NZ – Declared a late scratching at 9.23am acting on veterinary advice.

 

RACE 4 – PENRITH MAZDA LADYSHIP PACE – 1720 metres

WOODLEA BEAVER NZ – Broke during the score up and a warning was issued.

FARFALLA STRIDE – Post-race swab sample.

LASTING MEMORY – Pre-race blood sample.  

WEAREALLALONE – Held up inside the final 200 metres.

CARPENTER – Out of position at the start and will continue to be placed outside the mobile draw in future mobile start events.

 

RACE 5 – WEDNESDAY MARKETS @ PENRITH SHOWGROUND PACE – 1720 metres

EL CAMINO – Post-race swab sample.

NOTSOKOOL – Broke passing the 300 metres.  A warning was issued.

TITIAN RAIDER – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 6 – HRNSW GUARANTEED 2YO PACE – 1720 metres

MY ULTIMATE BANJO – Driver Cameron Hart was questioned regarding the performance of the colt which finished in sixth placing beaten 13 metres ($2.30 fav).  Mr Hart explained that the colt over raced during the early and middle stages which told on MY ULTIMATE BANJO over the concluding stages.  Given the racing manners of MY ULTIMATE BANJO a warning was issued.

GEETEEHO – Gave ground over the concluding stages after being positioned outside the leader throughout to be beaten 49 metres into last placing.

SENTOSAR – Post-race swab sample.

THIS IS HEAVEN – Pre-race blood sample.  Held up during the early part of the home straight.  Re-included into the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 7 – MAJOR OAK THEATRE RESTAURANT @ CLUB PACEWAY PACE – 1720 metres

The start of this event was delayed avoiding a clash with Race 6 at Angle Park.

ASTRAL STRIDE – Pre-race blood sample.  Post-race swab sample.

THE DEVILS FLAME – Paced roughly shortly after the start and a warning was issued.

BOBBY WATERHOUSE NZ – Held up rounding the home turn and the early part of the straight.

 

RACE 8 – PENRITH SHOW TICKETS ON SALE NOW PACE – 1720 metres

MAID OF MONEY NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

WHEREISHE – Post-race swab sample.

ROGERVALERIO LOMBO – Inconvenienced rounding the final turn when held up behind SEAMARK NZ which commenced to tire.

SEAMARK NZ – Driver Jai Meikle was question regarding the performance of the gelding which finished last in 10th placing beaten 56 metres ($41.00). Mr Meikle explained that SEAMARK NZ over raced throughout the race which told on the gelding over the concluding stages. Given the beat margin a warning was issued.

CLEMENTSORRELL – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races and being over the age of 12 years.  These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.

 

RACE 9 – WESTERN WEEKENDER SPONSOR OF PENRITH SHOW PACE – 1720 metres

HEAVEN FAST – Pre-race blood sample.  Held up inside the final 200 metres.

DOUGS TRIBE – Post-race swab sample.

DELIGHTFULLY SWEET – Locked wheels with GOODTIME MIKI shortly after passing the finish resulting in Zara Fitzpatrick driver of GOODTIME MIKI being dislodged from the sulky.

GET US A TINNY – Held up inside the final 150 metres.

GOODTIME MIKI – Locked wheels with DELIGHTFULLY SWEET shortly after passing the finish resulting in Zara Fitzpatrick, driver of GOODTIME MIKI, being dislodged from the sulky.

ROCK ASSET – Held up inside the final 200 metres.
