RACE 1 – HRNSW RISING STARS (PENALTY EXEMPT EVENT) – 1609 metres
RAGING SEA – Pre-race blood sample. Shortly after the start shifted out became unbalanced and broke gait. A warning was issued.
DUKES CHOICE – Pre-race blood sample.
CATCHAFIRE NZ – Post-race swab sample.
SANCHEZ – Broke gait in the early stages of the score up however was in position at the start. A warning was issued.
IM ROCKIN IT – Shortly after the start shifted in, became unbalanced and broke gait. A warning was issued.
SAINT CRUSADER – Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward.
HUXTON NZ – Hung in during the early stages of the score up. A warning was issued.
RACE 2 – FRED BORG OAM MEMORIAL – 2300 metres
NAMAKA – Had difficulty securing clear running until approaching the 100 metres.
GUILTY PARTY – Unable to secure clear running until leaving the 100 metres.
JIMMY JAMES MAGUIRE NZ – Passing the 150 metres was taken wider by MONTALBANO resulting in JIMMY JAMES MAGUIRE NZ locking wheels with CAULONIA COURAGE and being hampered.
FRANCO TYSON – Unable to secure clear running at any stage in the home straight and was not fully tested.
HUTA NZ – Post-race swab sample.
CAULONIA COURAGE – Pre-race blood sample. Approaching the 100 metres was hampered when JIMMY JAMES MAGUIRE NZ was taken wider by MONTALBANO and subsequently CAULONIA COURAGE locked wheels with that runner for a short distance.
SPIRIT OF ARION NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Unable to secure clear running until passing the 100 metres.
MONTALBANO – Led the event and hung out and shifted wider under pressure racing between the 200 metres and 100 metres. A warning was issued.
RACE 3 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS FINAL (GROUP 1) – 1609 metres
SPITFIRE – Pre-race blood sample.
PATH TO GREATNESS – Pre-race blood sample. Driver R Morris pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 159B(1)(a)(i) for presenting himself into the parade ring driving his runner without a protective vest. R Morris was fined $250. Leaving the 400 metres was inclined to lay in and contacted multiple marker pegs. A warning was issued. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. When questioned, Driver R Morris explained that he was disappointed with the gelding’s inability to finish the race off. He added he was unable to provide an explanation and with the benefit of hindsight recent interstate travel may have taken its toll on the gelding. R Morris on behalf of connections, undertook to report to Stewards in the days subsequent if anything became apparent regarding the gelding’s condition.

SWEET ON LEXY – Post-race swab sample.
HEEZA MALTEEZA - Pre-race blood sample.
DOUBLE LOU - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
JETTER SON - Pre-race blood sample. Broke gait during the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued. Unable to secure clear running in the latter stages of the home straight and was not fully tested.
SINALOA – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 4 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO FILLIES FINAL (GROUP 1) – 1609 metres
RIKIBREAL – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
ART SPACE – Hung out after the start.
SMIRKIN SERENE – Pre-race blood sample. Shorty after the start was hampered when taken wider by ART SPACE.
TENACIOUSLY – Shortly after the start was taken wider by SMIRKIN SERENE and made contact with THE SWIFT ONE and consequently TENACIOUSLY was checked and broke gait.
THE SWIFT ONE - Pre-race blood sample. Shortly after the start was placed in restricted room, initially by the runners to the inside and shortly thereafter by VIOLET HANOVER which was racing to its outside and subsequently THE SWIFT ONE contacted the sulky of TENACIOUSLY which had been checked.
VIOLET HANOVER – Shortly after the start was placed in restricted racing room initially by THE SWIFT ONE which was taken wider and then PEACE OUT which shifted in, subsequently VIOLET HANOVER was severely checked and broke gait.
PEACE OUT – Approaching the 1500 metres laid in and shifted in resulting in VIOLET HANOVER being placed in restricted room and taken down towards THE SWIFT ONE which contributed to VIOLET HANOVER being severely checked and breaking gait. A warning was placed on PEACE OUT.
GUNNA RELOAD – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
WEONA MISS MIKI - Pre-race blood sample.
SUGAR PIE HONEY - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
RACE 5 – BESTINBEDS.COM.AU BATTLE OF BEERSHEBA FFA – 2300 metres
PETES SAID SO NZ – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines. No abnormalities were detected.
BEACH BALL NZ - Pre-race blood sample.
CLASSIC MISSION NZ - Pre-race blood sample.
CAPTAINS KNOCK – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 6 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO FILLIES FINAL (GROUP 1) – 1609 metres
KRUSTY KRUNCH – Shortly after the start hung out and broke gait. A warning was issued.
SPARKLING SEA – Had difficulty securing clear running until passing the 150 metres. Post-race swab sample.
APPLAUDING – Approaching the 1400 metres became unbalanced and raced roughly.
PERFECTDELIGHT – Post-race swab sample.
YIRRADIVA – Improved three wide in the early stages and was unable to obtain the position outside the leader therefore the filly raced wide for the remainder of the event. Driver L McCarthy explained that he expected the tempo to reduce significantly through the second quarter therefore he made a decision to improve his position on the filly in accordance with the instructions of Trainer D Hewitt. He added he was surprised the position outside the leader was unobtainable and when it became apparent he could not cross, he believed it would be detrimental to restrain all the way to the rear of the field. L McCarthy’s explanation was noted.

WHERES MY REASON – Leaving the 300 metres shifted in and raced roughly.
RACE 7 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS FINAL (GROUP 3) – 1609 metres
HOLLYWOOD STRIP – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
WIT WICKEE – Passing the 300 metres was placed in restricted room when A BUCK TEN shifted in. subsequently WIT WICKEE contacted multiple marker pegs.
MESSAGE BANK – Pre-race blood sample. Raced roughly after the start. A warning was issued.
LEXY - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
BEROCCA BERNIE – Post-race swab sample.
CLASSIC CHIP – Pre-race blood sample.
LOCHINVAR MARCELLO – Approaching the 200 metres contacted the sulky of YA RACIN CARL which hung out and subsequently LOCHINVAR MARCHELLO was checked and broke gait.
A BUCK TEN – Pre-race blood sample. Shortly after the start broke its crupper. Passing the 300 metres shifted in when not clear of WIT WICKEE resulting in that runner being placed in restricted room and contacting marker pegs. Driver B Portelli was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference.
YA RACIN CARL – Approaching the 200 metres hung out resulting in contact to the offside sulky wheel. A warning was issued.

RACE 8 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 4YO ENTIRES AND GELDINGS FINAL (GROUP 3) – 1609 metres
OUR GOAT – Post-race swab sample.
RAVISHING SLOY – Pre-race blood sample.
ROYAL CRUISER - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
FORCE FULL - Pre-race blood sample. Unable to secure clear running until passing the 100 metres.
VITE MONET - Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 9 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 4YO MARES FINAL (GROUP 3) – 1609 metres
BETTINE – Approaching the 200 metres shifted out slightly then shifted in and in doing so momentarily tightened BOLERO which was attempting to improve to the inside. Driver S Morris was advised to exercise greater care when shifting ground in similar circumstances in the future.
SOAP OPERA – Pre-race blood sample.
BOLERO – Near the 200 metres shifted in and was disappointed for a run when placed in restricted room by BETTINE and subsequently BOLERO contacted marker pegs.
GOLLY GEE FELLAS – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
LUX AETERNA – Post-race swab sample.
DOLCE DRAMA – Pre-race blood sample.
LE BETTY – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 10 – 24 HR FIGHT AGAINST CANCER MACARTHUR TONY AND JILL MCGRATH TROTTERS CUP (LISTED CLASSIC) – 1609 metres
JUNGLE EYES – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
COURAGE STRIDE – Unable to secure clear running until leaving the 100 metres.
GET USED TO IT – Passing the 1300 metres had to be checked away from FAMILIAR TRICKS which broke gait.
FAMILIAR TRICKS - Pre-race blood sample. Approaching the 1300 metres became unbalanced and broke gait resulting in the horse losing significant ground. A warning was issued.
CONSTANTINOPLE – Raced roughly under pressure and leaving the 50 metres commenced to pace. Stewards were satisfied Driver L McCarthy met his obligations and immediately restrained the gelding, therefore no alteration to the placings was deemed to be necessary. Driver L McCarthy was advised CONSTANTINOPLE would be stood down for a period of 10 days and until it complete two satisfactory trials.
