Compulsory Log Books for trainers in NSW from April 1

24 March 2016

REGISTERED trainers in New South Wales should now have received, or soon will, a log book from HRNSW via Australia Post and will be required to maintain and produce it if requested by Stewards from April 1.

The aim of providing log books to registered trainers is to assist with compliance of Australian Harness Racing Rule 190B which requires a log book be kept and maintained at all times.

Trainers should be aware that if they fail to maintain a logbook they are in breach of the rule and will be dealt with accordingly.

If a trainer has not yet received a log book please contact HRNSW’s Integrity Department immediately.
