Fitzpatrick heads back to his home track

5 April 2021

HE is one of the most successful drivers in New South Wales and Blake Fitzpatrick will be trying to add to his record at Bankstown today.

Fitzpatrick drove his 2000th winner back in January and has driven 11 winners since.
Having grown up around Bankstown before the family relocated to Cawdor, Fitzpatrick had his first race drive at Bankstown in April 2000 and boasts a 40 per cent chance of finishing in the top three placings at that circuit.
Fitzpatrick also trains horses and has a two-pronged attack in race one.
His runners are La Vista and Headovaheels and both pacers are making their race debut.
Fitzpatrick also has Pearl Button engaged in race three.
The filly is a maiden following 16 starts yet has secured seven placings in that time. Fitzpatrick’s father, Paul Fitzpatrick, also has a starter in that race with American Made.
