Menangle based horseman Jack Trainor returns to home soil following an interstate campaign.

Trainor, one of New South Wales’ leading trainer-drivers this season, raced Wolf Stride and Perfect Stride in the Inter Dominion series in Victoria.

His best result was a second place with Perfect Stride in a heat at Geelong last Saturday night, however, did not gain enough points with either pacer to earn a spot in the final.

Barrier draws worked against Trainor’s Inter Dominion hopes and now the 28-year-old will turn his focus back home.

Trainor has one starter at Menangle today with Some Chevron in race eight.

Trainor will also drive Revy Jay for trainers Joe and Mary Rando in race two and has a number of his horses racing at the same venue this Saturday night.
