Menangle horsemen David Thorn and Jack Trainor have had a have proved to be a strong combination in recent years.

The trainer-driver team have won Group 1 races together with quality pacer Anntonia (pictured) and in recent weeks have shared success at Menangle with the likes of Our Money Rocks and Heaven On High.

Thorn and Trainor will join forces again at Menangle today with former New Zealand pacer Tisbury Rocks in race four.

The mare is making her Australian debut having won two of her last three starts in the Shaky Isles and is owned by similar connections as the in-form Our Money Rocks.

Trainor’s other engagement today is with the trotter he trains, Itz Trixton Time, in race three.

Trainor is nearing 200 wins as a trainer, heading to Menangle today with 196 victories.
