Plenty of Drama for Troy Primmer

WITH her younger half-sister grabbing headlines during the weekend, it's time for Endless Drama to step into the spotlight.

Enhancing her reputation as one of New South Wales' most promising fillies, No Dramas was successful in the NSW Bred Final at Club Menangle last Saturday night.

With Josh Gallagher holding the reins, No Dramas led throughout from barrier two to score by three metres from Montalbano.

Most Triumphant was a half-head away third in 1:52.6 over a mile.

"She went really well and I was very happy with her run," trainer Troy Primmer said. "She has done a super job as she is not overly big but can certainly scoot.

"She is only 15.1, maybe 15.2 hands, but muscley and covers the ground so well as her gait amazing, which is why she doesn't look as small on television.

"I plan on taking her to Queensland now for the Winter Carnival for a bit of experience.

"She is just below the top fillies at this stage, but I think going against those better ones in an Oaks heat for example might really help her later in her career."

Owned by Primmer's wife, Catherine, his mother, Shirley, and friend Jan Nelson, No Dramas boasts an imposing record of four wins and two placings from six starts for earnings of $33,070.

While her tally is less impressive, with a pair of wins and a third from 13 outings, Endless Drama "does have ability" according to Primmer, who hopes the daughter of Somebeachsomewhere will improve her record at Club Menangle today.

To be driven by Gallagher, Endless Drama has drawn to settle in a prominent position from gate three.

Sixth at her two starts from a long spell, the mare is close to peak fitness ahead of her 1609-metre task.

"Her runs this time in have been solid without setting the world on fire," Primmer said. "Her work has picked up since her last run and she will strip fitter this time.

"She'll need the right run, but it is a winnable race."
