New trotting series 'The Arizona Blue' is here

Following the successful reintroduction of the Trotters Carousel Series, feature racing for the trotters will continue at Menangle over the next two months.

Club Menangle has introduced a new two-year-old Trotters Spring/Summer Series like the NSW Foundation series.

Named in honour of the outstanding trotter Arizona Blue, who was dominate in her juvenile years, this series will be contested through November and December.

Heats will be held on Tuesday, November 14 as well as Monday, November 27 at Goulburn and Tuesday, December 5 at Menangle with a $25,000 Final to be run on Saturday night, December 16 at Australasia’s premier harness racing circuit.

“This series was developed to give the slower-maturing trotters a chance to compete, acquire race experience, win bonuses and prizemoney for their owners and breeders,” said Flora Robson of the NSW Trotters Association.
