Race 6, SEND IT

Stewards concluded an inquiry at Bathurst on the 28^th of August into an incident in the above race near the 1200 metres involving YOURSHOUTROCKY (Z Phillips) and SEND IT (B Hewitt), where it appeared SEND IT may have been forced out wider on the track. It was established that approaching the 1200 metres EAGLES AND INDIANS (R Strong) commenced to hang-out allowing LOORIM LAKE (S Maguire) to shift out and EAGLES AND INDIANS was eased to obtain the position on its back, as a result YOURSHOUTROCKY was inconvenienced and shifted-out resulting in SEND IT also being inconvenienced and being taken wider. Given the combination of events, Driver Z Phillips was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances in future.
