AWAYOVERNIGHT NZ – Trainer K Morris has today advised Stewards that following the above mentioned race, the gelding was examined by the stables veterinarian and failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Mrs Morris indicated that the stable has been managing a number of horses with a virus and the gelding would have appeared to be affected by this. Mrs Morris added that the horse is now being treated and will be given a freshen up.
