RACE 1 – TAB ODDS & EVENS PACE - 1609 metres

LOUTHPARK XSRESSO – Trainer D Chapple was questioned in relation to the gelding’s improved performance. He stated that he made a gear change (added hood) from its last start and it appeared to have improved the gelding significantly. Stewards noted his comments and reminded D Chapple that they expect LOUTHPARK XSRESSO to race in a consistent manner. Trainer D Chapple was fined $50 under Rule 273(6)(b) for failing to have the gear form for the gelding accurately recorded. Sent to be swabbed.

SHAKIN SHAKIRA – Galloped upon entering the first turn. Given its record, a warning was issued.

WHEREYAGOINBABE – Galloped rounding the first turn. Given its record, a warning was issued.

REGRETABLE – Pre-race blood test.

MIKE ORR – The gelding was placed to the extreme outside of its row as it was excluded from the mobile barrier draw at Newcastle on 26 June 2020. Driver B Hughes was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to bring the gelding into position at the start.    

RACE 2 – BELL PARTNERS TAMWORTH PACE - 1609 metres

FLIGHTNFIGHT – Sent to be swabbed.

SIEDRA CALEB – Pre-race blood sample.

RACE 3 – HYGAIN MICROSPEED PACE - 1609 metres

SPIKEADOR – Pre-race blood test. Sent to be swabbed.

HINCHINBROOK – Commenced to weaken from the 550m and finished distanced. Connections were advised that the gelding is required to requalify before again.

UNICO ENCHANTRESS – Hung in rounding the final turn and contacted a number of marker pegs.

RACE 4 – LONGYARD HOTEL TAMWORTH PACE - 1609 metres

OUR BUSHWACKER – Sent to be swabbed.

LETS DIG IT – Driver J Donovan was reprimanded under Rule 168(1)(a) in that near the 400m he shifted out when not quite clear of JUST TOMMY and as a result the offside sulky wheel of LETS DIG IT contacted the fore leg of JUST TOMMY which punctured the inner tube. LETS DIG IT raced roughly rounding the final turn. Given its record a warning was issued.

MILWAUKEE VOLO – Re-included in the mobile barrier draw.

IM QUITE AMERICAN – Sent to be swabbed.

GOODTIME HERO – Galloped at the start. Given its record, a warning was issued.

MONEYMATTERS – Out of position at the start. Given its record, a warning was issued.

BETTOR GETTA LOVER – Pre-race blood test.

RACE 6 – STOCKMANS SUPPLIES PACE - 1609 metres

YOSEMITE – Pre-race blood test. Sent to be swabbed.

 

 

RACE 7 – WESTS DIGGERS TAMWORTH PACE - 2360 metres

DARK SIDE – Sent to be swabbed.

SUMTHIN SPECIAL – Pre-race blood test.

RACE 8 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE - 2360 metres

GOLD REACTOR – Commenced to weaken from the 400m and finished distanced. Connections were advised that the gelding is required to requalify before racing again.

BELIEVE IN HEAVEN – Sent to be swabbed.

RIGHT ON WITH IT – Pre-race blood test.

EMM AYE DEE - Held up for clear running until approaching the 50m.

LA SAFRON – The gelding was claimed. Sent to be swabbed.
