RACE 1 – BUBBA GUMP PEST CONTROL TROTTERS MOBILE – 2300metres
DON’T TOUCH THIS – Shifted out under pressure in the run to the finish.
FANCY – Post-race swab sample.
YOUNG SON – Pre-race blood sample.
STREETCAFE – Near the 1700 metres was inconvenienced and broke when DON’T TOUCH THIS shifted out slightly.
ALPINE RETREAT NZ – Out of position at the start. Will continue to be placed right outside the draw in future mobile starts. Near the 400 metres became unbalanced and galloped. In view of the performance the gelding will be stood down until it can complete 2 satisfactory trials and for a period of 10 days.
RACE 2 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND TROTTERS MOBILE – 2300metres
GOLD SOVEREIGN NZ – Post-race swab sample.
VALLEY ESS JAY – Tired over the concluding stages of the event.
HELLBOUND – Pre-race blood sample. Near the 1400 metres became unbalanced and galloped. A warning was issued.
INDEFENSIBLE – Inconvenienced near the 1400 metres when HELLBOUND broke.
RACE 3 – CLUBMENANGLE.COM.AU PACE – 1609metres
LADY ALLEGRA – Pre-race blood sample. Trainer R. Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 268(A)(2) for failing to lodge a gear form for the filly. Trainer R. Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late notification of driver.
AMERICAN DAGGER – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. The gelding will now be placed outside the draw in future mobile starts. Trainer K. Morris advised that the gelding will now be sent for a spell. The gelding will be stood down for a period of 28 days.
RACE 4 – COBBITTY EQUINE FARM PACE – 1609metres
MATAI REACTOR – Pre-race blood sample. Held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
A CHIP OF IMPALA – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 5 – PRYDES EASIFEED PACE – 1609 metres
FEAR THE EAGLE – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight. Driver W. Rixon was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that near the 100 metres when shifting his runner wider HOT WIRE had to be steadied.
HOT WIRE – Steadied near the 100 metres.
JACKBKWIK – Tired over the concluding stages of the event.
SOUTHBOUND TRAIN NZ – Pre-race blood sample.
VALENCIA – Shifted out under pressure over the final 200 metres. A warning was issued. Will now be re-included in the mobile barrier draw. Post-race swab sample.
RACE 6 – CORDINA CHICKEN FARMS LADYSHIP PACE – 1609metres
AMERICAN FLYER NZ – Post-race swab sample.
HEAVENLY BELLE – Pre-race blood sample. Had a tendency to hang out when being restrained in the early stages of the event. Had a tendency to lay in when attempting to being eased wider in the early stages of the home straight.
RACE 7 – APG PACE – 1609metres
ROCKNROLL RHYTHM – Hung out during the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued.
LONG WEEKEND – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
RACE 8 – ACCESS GROUP SOLUTIONS PACE – 1609metres
DRAGON TATTOO NZ – Pre-race blood sample.
WOW HES A ROCKSTAR – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 9 – EVEKARE PACE – 1609metres
GIMMEMEFIVEMINUTESMORE NZ – Broke in the score up. A warning was issued. Near the 250 metres checked and locked wheels with DIVINE DIVA.
DIVINE DIVA – Driver A. Hart was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(b)(i) for forcing another runner wider in that approaching the 400 metres she shifter her runner from a running line position to a three wide position resulting in OUR MONEY ROCKS being forced four wide prior to the candy pole. Near the 250 metres checked and locked wheels with GIMMEMEFIVEMINUTESMORE NZ.

OUR MONEY ROCKS – Forced wide approaching the 400 metres. Near the 250 metres checked and broke when DIVINE DIVA and GIMMEFIVEMINUTESMORE NZ locked wheels

RACE 10 – ALLIED EXPRESS LOGISTICS PACE – 1609metres
GLENGARRY ROSE NZ – Post-race swab sample.
ANANAIS NZ – Pre-race blood sample.
TAROONA BROMAC NZ – Raced roughly after the start.
TIPPITINYA – Stewards questioned Driver J. Callaghan in regards to the tactics adopted in the early stages of the event in particular the reasons for WARFARE being able to obtain a position in the running forward of him. J. Callaghan stated that leaving the home straight his runner was racing keenly and as a result the improved to the inside of WARFARE which was caught three wide. J. Callaghan added that in his opinion that WARFARE was a better horse to trail into the event and therefore he elected to restrain to allow WARFARE to obtain a position forward of him. The explanation was noted. When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding Driver J. Callaghan stated that the way the race was run the horses on the marker pegs were best suited and as a result of him being wide on the track when asked for an effort his horse failed to run on over the final 250 metres.
OUR MADIBA NZ – Stewards questioned Driver J. Trainor in regards to his driving tactics adopted in the early stages of the home straight. J. Trainor stated that shortly after entering the home straight he elected to shift to the back of BEAU CISHOLM NZ as he was of the opinion that runner would obtain clear running which would then allow his to shift of that runners back and obtain clear running. J. Trainor added that he was of the opinion that when he elected to shift wider there wasn’t a clear run between BOLTA and BEAU CISHOLM however shortly after moving wider he elected to shift down the track as a run had then appeared between those two runners and when obtaining that run the gelding finished the race off well. After considering the evidence of J. Trainor and reviewing the films, Stewards accepted the explanation tendered.
