SHANNONSTHEMAN – Caught racing wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1100 metres.

DELIGHTFUL DUDE NZ – Pre - race blood sample.

PROSECUTION WITNESS NZ – Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

RACE 2 – BEST IN BEDS PACE – 1609 metres

ALWAYS ROCKIN – Pre - race blood sample.

ART TUTOR – Broke stride during the middle stages of the score up, checking AQUA SANCTA NZ causing a false start to be declared. After considering the recent record of the horse a warning was issued. Post - race swab sample.

UNDER WORKED NZ – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

ZIGGY ROCKS – Trainer Kerryann Morris was fined $50 under rule 273(6)(b) for failing to present the gelding with gear approved by stewards. Pre - race blood sample.

RACE 3 – SUCCESS STUD YEARLING PREP PACE (HEAT 1) – 1609 metres

OUR COWGIRLS N LACE NZ – Pre - race blood sample. Post - race swab sample.

LOCHIEL NZ - Pre - race blood sample.

TRIPLE VC NZ – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining a run to the inside of ALLSET NZ passing the 100 metres.

ISLAND FIRE DANCE – Trainer Jason Grimson was fined $50 under rule 273(6)(b) for failing to present the mare with gear approved by stewards. Hung in under pressure and contacted marker pegs in the home straight.

RACE 4 – SOMERSBY CIDER PACE – 1609 metres

ELLMERS IMAGE NZ – Pre - race blood sample. Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

ATOMIC RED – Held up over the final 100 metres.

LOORRIM CREEK – Pre - race blood sample.

ROYAL GAMBLE NZ – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres. Driver Jack Trainor pleaded guilty to a charge under rule 162(1)(y) for failing to adhere to the minimum time standards for the second quarter of the event, whereby he recorded 32.5 seconds when leading which was slower than the 0.5 seconds slower than the 32.0 permissible under the HRNSW Sectional Times Policy. After considering the recent record of Mr Trainor he was fined $100. Post - race swab sample.

RACE 5 – P J HALL FFA (GROUP 3) – 1609 metres

RACE 6 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres

SMOOTH DEBATE NZ – Broke stride during the latter stages of the score up and was out of position at the start, taking no competitive part in the event. After considering the recent record of the mare a warning was issued.

SWEET HEAVEN NZ – Raced roughly rounding the final turn.

MISDEMEANOR – Held up over the final 150 metres of the home straight.
