GENERAL
Trainer Kevin Pizzuto was fined $100 under Rule 238 for failing to obey a direction in regards to dress code.
RACE 1 – THE SUNDAYES SESSION TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres
YOUNG SON – Commenced to tire passing the 600 metres before being beaten 62.1 metres. In view of the gelding’s recent record YOUNG SON will be required to perform two requalifying trials and stood down for a period of 10 days. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
ALDEBARAN YAHTZEE – Gave ground over the concluding stages before being beaten 39.9 metres. Driver Lleyton green was questioned in regards to the overall performance of the mare. Mr Green felt the mare was slightly disappointing but could offer no further explanation.
MOCCA FRANCY NZ – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres.
PEGASUS RAINBOW – Became unbalanced and broke gait free of any interference passing the 1100 metres for which a warning was issued.
WYNBERG WATCH NZ – Declared a late scratching by order of Stewards at 9.24am.
PHARISEE – Pre-race blood test. Post-race swab.
RACE 2 – NATIONALTROTGUIDE.COM.AU TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres
MELPARK MAGIC – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
ITZFERGIETIME – Held up for clear running in the early part of the home straight.
AFFAIRE DE COVER – Trainer Troy Williams was fined the sum of $50 under rule 210 for failing to advise Chris Geary as the driver of the gelding by the prescribed time. Shifted out when under pressure marginally in the latter stages of the home straight. Post-race swab.
SIMONE LINDENNY NZ – Pre-race blood test. Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start and took no competitive part in the event for which a warning was issued.
RED HARBOUR NZ – Driver Joshua Gallagher was questioned in regards to his tactics adopted on the gelding in particular concern to the Stewards was after being out of position at the start Mr Gallagher has pressed forward to find the lead at the 1200 metres before giving ground from the 400 metres to be beaten 45.5 metres. Mr Gallagher stated that the horse paced and broke in the early part of the score up which left him somewhat out of position at the start. Mr Gallagher further explained the gelding is not easy to drive and felt it was best to continue forward as the gelding has a tendency to break gait when being restrained. In the circumstances Stewards noted the comments of Mr Gallagher. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. In regards to the starting manners and the overall performance of RED HARBOUR NZ it will now be excluded right out of the draw in mobile starts and also required to perform one requalifying trial.
RACE 3 – TIGER TARA @ MEDOWIE LODGE PACE – 1609 metres
OUR ULTIMATE IVY NZ – Pre-race blood test.
FIFTYSHADES CRESSCO – Held up for clear running in the early part of the home straight.
WILL I AM – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start and took no competitive part for which a warning was issued.
AMERICAN RAINBOW – Worked forward to the lead approaching the 1200 metres. Post-race swab.
RACE 4 – COBBITTY EQUINE FARM PACE – 1609 metres
HELLOFALASS – Pre-race blood test. Post-race swab.
TRIOLI – Broke after the start for which a warning was issued.
THE GOLDEN CROSS NZ – Inconvenienced after the start as a result of TRIOLI breaking gait.
DON KEE – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
GENTLE GIANT NZ – Caught wide early before working forward to the position outside the leader approaching the 1200 metres.
RACE 5 – AINSWORTH PACE – 1609 metres
SOME CHEVRON NZ – Driver Jack Callaghan was questioned in regards to the overall performance of the gelding, after working forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres the gelding failed to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 7.7 metres. Mr Callaghan stated that he was required to run a faster third quarter than anticipated after GOLFO PARADISO NZ had moved three wide to be outside his runner and believed that the third quarter of 27.8 seconds resulted into SOME CHEVRON NZ not being able to finish the event off.

GOLFO PARADISO NZ – Commenced to improve three wide from the 1000 metres before working forward to the position outside the leader at the 700 metres.
DRESSED IN GOLD NZ – Broke in the score up for which a warning was issued. Post-race swab sample was obtained.
TIMELY SOVEREIGN – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
CASH AND BLING – At the request of connections was re-included into the mobile barrier draw.
RACE 6 – NSWBC REGIONAL 3YO FILLIES HEAT – 1609 metres
KATASTROPHEE – Commenced to give ground from the 600 metres before being beaten 33.4 meters.
HARPERVILLE – Pre-race blood test. Jostled with VINETTE approaching the 200 metres.
PEACEFUL – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres. Inconvenienced approaching the 550 metres when shifted out and contacted the sulky of ROLL WITH SLOY.
ROLL WITH SLOY – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start for which a warning was issued. Had its sulky contacted as a result of PEACEFUL shifting out approaching the 550 metres. Post-race swab.
VINETTE – Jostled with HARPERVILLE approaching the 200 metres.
RACE 7 – NSWBC REGIONAL 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS HEAT – 1609 metres
EXTREME SEA – Pre-race blood test. Raced roughly passing the 500 metres. Post-race swab.
KING TINTIN – Locked wheels with ROCKNROLL GIG approaching the 200 metres and had its momentum stopped.
ROCKNROLL GIG – Locked wheels with KING TINTIN approaching the 200 metres.
MAJOR CELEBRITY – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 29.6 metres.
AGIFTFROMTHEANGELS – Pre-race blood test.
FEAR THE BANKER – Commenced to improve three wide from the 1100 metres before working forward to the position outside the leader at the 900 metres.
RACE 8 – ALLIED EXPRESS APP PACE – 169 metres
WILLS WAY – Commenced to give ground from the 600 metres before being beaten 45.5 metres.
GIMME A REASON – Approaching the 500 metres raced roughly.
CAPTAIN DORIAN – Inconvenienced passing the 500 metres as a result of GIMME A REASON racing roughly. Reported post-race to have broken the near side number two carrying strap.
BEANCOUNTER – Had a tendency to hang out approaching the 600 metres.
BETTOR WATCH ARDEN NZ – Hung out and raced roughly after the start.
ROCKOKOKO – Pre-race blood test. Post-race swab.
