KING TINTIN – Inconvenienced upon entry to the first turn when JALANEEL broke stride.
HAS THE COURAGE – Pre-race blood sample. Held up between the 200 metres and the 100 metres.
QUIET STORM – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1300 metres.
SEVE NZ – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres. Stewards questioned Driver Will Rixon with regards to the performance of the gelding which gave ground over the concluding stages. Mr Rixon advised Stewards the gelding was a touch disappointing this evening and in his opinion did not feel as sharp for some reason. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the explanation provided by Mr Rixon, Stewards determined to note his comments.
JALANEEL – Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride free of interference upon entry to the first turn and inconvenienced KING TINTIN. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.
Following the running of Race 1, the Menangle area experienced significant lightning activity which necessitated a significant delay to the conduct of the meeting. Once the lightning activity had passed, the following time changes were announced for the remainder of the meeting.

MAJOR STATEMENT – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
MONTEFIORE NZ – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 100 metres.
STORMTIDE – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1700 metres.
RAVISHING SLOY – Pre-race blood sample. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1400 metres. Post-race swab sample.

UNFAZED - Momentarily inconvenienced passing the 200 metres.

MAX DELIGHT – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the lead passing the 1000 metres.
RACE 6 – TAB SIBELIA STAKES (GROUP 3) - 1609 metres

LOOK LIKE DIAMONDS – Hung out after the start.
TAY TAY – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running over the final 100 metres.
MARIA ALLEGONDA NZ – An inquiry into the reasons for MARIA ALLEGONDA NZ and LUX AETERNA locking wheels upon entry to the first turn was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
WINDY HILL TARA – Inconvenienced upon entry to the first turn when MARIA ALLEGONDA NZ and LUX AETERNA locked wheels.

JOELITA – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 100 metres.

LUX AETERNA – An inquiry into the reasons for LUX AETERNA and MARIA ALLEGONDA NZ locking wheels upon entry to the first turn was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
RACE 7 – CANNIBAL STANDING AT COBBITTY EQUINE FARM LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres
CHARLIES ACE NZ – Driver Joshua Gallagher was reprimanded under Rule 160(1) for completing the preliminary in the incorrect direction. Slow to begin. Driver Joshua Gallagher reported to Stewards at the completion of the event that the near side fore hopple loop became detached soon after the start and as a result he retired the mare from the event.
EYEKNOW – Slow to begin.
TWILIGHT HEAVEN – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample. Driver Lleyton Green pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 156(2)(a), in that he applied the whip to the mare in the home straight in a manner which was considered not to be a wrist only flicking motion. After considering the recent record of Mr Green, he was fined $200.
DESTINY STRIDE – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres. Gave ground over the concluding stages.
BOULEVARDOFDREAMS – Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1100 metres.
RACE 8 – MENANGLE PARK GLENLEE COMMUNITY TROTTERS DISCRETIONARY HANDICAP – 2300 metres
SPEEDY LOVER – Pre-race blood sample.
COURAGE STRIDE – Held up over the final 100 metres of the event.
DICHOTOMY – Galloped out. After considering the recent record of the mare, a warning was issued.
GEE CEE CALDER - Galloped out. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.
AFFAIRE DE COVER – Paced and broke after the start. After considering the recent record of the gelding, it will continue to be placed outside the standing start draw.
SHES RUBY ROO – Checked after the start when DICHOTOMY galloped out.
