RACE 1 – THE TAB APP PACE– 1770 metres

General: The start of this event was delayed one (1) minute due to Race 4 at Bordertown thoroughbreds being behind their scheduled starting time.

TATTA REASON – Pre-race swab. 

CULLECT A STARR – Post-race swab.

CRESCO BELLADONNA – Broke gait clear of interference entering the first turn checking TINNYSMEDAD, YEAH NAH & JUNGLE SHARK all to varying degrees. A warning was issued against the racing manners of CRESCO BELLADONNA.

TINNYSMEDAD – Inconvenienced entering the first turn when CRESCO BELLADONNA broke gait.

YEAH NAH – Raced roughly entering the first prior to being inconvenienced when CRESCO BELLADONNA broke gait. Raced roughly again passing the 800m which a warning was issued against the filly’s racing manners.

JUNGLE SHARK – Checked and broke gait entering the first turn when CRESCO BELLADONNA broke gait.

RACE 2– SS&A OF ALBURY MAJOR SPONSOR PACE – 1770 metres

IFELLINDACREEK – Driver John Scott was issued a reprimand for allowing his foot to drop from the footrest when activating removeable gear approaching the 900m. Post-race swab.

WICKED WIZARD – Raced roughly shortly after the start was effected. Broke gait entering the first turn when being restrained. Checking multiple runners to varying degrees. WICKED WIZARD will now be stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.

HI HO SILVER – Checked entering the first turn when WICKED WIZARD broke gait.

LOOKIDEAL – Checked entering the first turn when WICKED WIZARD broke gait.

HOWSWEETTHESOUND – Pre-race swab. Checked entering the first turn when WICKED WIZARD broke gait.

NICE WON GARY – Broke gait passing the 200m when attempted to be directed wider on the track. NICE WON GARY will now be stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.

BEGLEY BOY – Checked entering the first turn when WICKED WIZARD broke gait.

BIG COOL – Hang inwards despite the drivers’ efforts at various stages of the event. A warning was issued against the racing manners of BIG COOL.

RACE 3 – TRAVLA DON’T FENCE ME IN PACE – 2170 metres

ROYAL BLOOD – ($6.00) Driver Blake Jones was queried into the overall performance of the mare which finished in 7^th position beaten 29.7m. Mr Jones attributed the performance to a combination of the mare pulling hard during the middle stages of the event & sustaining a three (3) wide run from the passing the 700m which were the main contributing factors to ROYAL BLOOD performance.

RACE 4– OLEBLACK JOE LOUNGE OPENING SOON PACE – 1770 metres

General: The start of this event was delayed one (1) minute due to Race 7 at Bordertown thoroughbreds being behind their scheduled starting time.

THE MOUNTAIN – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.

CLASSIS BEESMACK – Pre-race swab. Pulled hard during the score up & during the middle stages of the event. Shifted outwards under pressure over the final 150m.

HARTNETT – Yielded ground from the 1000m to finish in 10^th and last beaten 56.6m. A warning was issued against HARTNETT racing competitiveness.

OKTOLOVE – Inconvenienced from the 1000m when HARTNETT commenced to yield ground.

RACE 5 – VALE LIFE MEMBER JOE RYAN – 2170 metres

ART ON FIRE NZ – Pre-race swab. Inconvenienced over the final 150m when BRAEBEACH NZ shifted outwards.

BRAEBEACH NZ – Driver Jackson Painting was fined the sum of $200 under AHR Rule 162(1)(www)(ii) for his lack of control in allowing BRAEBEACH NZ to continually shift outwards which hindered the progress of ART ON FIRE NZ which was taken wider over the final 150m. Post-race swab.

RACE 6 – THANKS MATT THE PAINTER LADYSHIP PACE – 1770 metres

PUDDNDORT – ($23.00) Yielded ground from the 900m to finish in 9^th position beaten 64.1m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare displaying a delayed recovery & arrhythmia. PUDDNDORT will now be stood down Electrocardiogram (ECG) report a veterinary certificate & trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.

DOVE LAKE – Post-race swab.

VIEW THE ART – Pre-race swab.

LA FEAST – ($5.50) Yielded ground rapidly from the 600m to finish in 10^th and last position beaten 96.5m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly displaying a delayed recovery & arrhythmia along with mild nasal discharge. LA FEAST will now be stood down Electrocardiogram (ECG) report a veterinary certificate & trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.

ALWAYS EXCLUSIF – Checked and raced roughly approaching the 500m when LA FEAST yielded ground quickly.

MAHINDI NZ – Hung inwards under pressure inside the final 100m. Driver Donna Castles was reminded of the manner she applied the whip to the mare over the final 150m.

HAITCH VEE TEE – Checked and taken back through the field when PUDDNDORT yielded ground from the 900m.

RACE 7 – VALE JEANETTE ROMERO – 1770 metres

CHEERSTOLOU – Post-race swab.  

MY ULTIMATE SKEETA – Pre-race swab. No claims lodged.

KEAYANG BLUE JEANS – Checked approaching the 700m when SMOKESHOW broke gait.

SMOKESHOW – Broke gait clear of interference approaching the 700m checking KEAYANG BLUE JEANS. A warning was issued against the racing manners of SMOKESHOW.
