RACE 1 – PACING FOR PINK PACE – 1720 metres
TERRAGONG SWINGER – Over raced throughout the event.
RIP ROCK - Over raced throughout the event. Held up in the early stages of the home straight. Post-race swab sample.
BADOSA – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start for which a warning was issued. Checked approaching the 300 metres as a result of KRISTA BELLITA breaking gait.
KOLOURA CLARE – Declared a late scratching at 5.27pm acting on veterinary advice. The mare will be stood down until a clear veterinary certificate including the result of a scope is produced and for a period of 10 days.
KRISTA BELLITA – Pre-race blood sample. Became unbalanced and broke on two occasions, firstly at the 1550 metres and again at the 350 metres. In view of the mare’s performance, KRISTA BELLITA will now be required to perform one requalifying trial.
SEVEN TEE TWO – Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
ERMINNIE QUINCE – Stewards delayed the all clear to review the films to determine if the mare had been afforded a fair start. After reviewing the films it was established ERMINNIE QUINCE was checked and broke gait as a result of BADOSA breaking in the score up before the green light had been activated and as a result was denied a fair start, and as a result acting under rule 15(t) Stewards declared ERMINNIE QUINCE a non runner.
RACE 2 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1720 metres
CARIBBEAN PAT – Over raced throughout the event.
MIDNIGHT TERROR – Hung in after the start. Approaching the first turn was tightened as a result of WHATABOUTBRONSON shifting down the track. Had a tendency to hang in throughout the event for which a warning was issued.
WHATABOUTBRONSON – Pre-race blood sample. Driver Blake Medlyn was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that approaching the first turn when shifting down the track he has placed MIDNIGHT TERROR into restricted room.
KARINYA MAX – Over raced throughout the event.
DOING – Post-race swab sample.
ANDREW SWAGGER – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start for which a warning was issued.
RACE 3 – 2DU PACE – 1720 metres
DUSTY MUSTER – Post-race swab sample.
BURNING HOT – Pre-race blood sample. Over raced throughout the event. Driver Jett Turnbull was questioned in regards to the overall performance of the gelding having started $3.80 and failing to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 11.6 metres. Mr Turnbull stated it was the gelding’s first start for trainer Nathan Townsend and travelled well throughout the event however when made to cover extra ground on the home turn, failed to run on over the concluding stages.
LENNOX BROMAC NZ – Pre-race blood sample.
SHEZ A WARRIOR – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.
GABBYS SPORTSTAR – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Commenced to improve three wide at the 1350 metres before finding the position outside the leader at the 1200 metres.
RACE 4 – DUBBO PET & STOCKFEEDS PACE – 1720 metres
REASON TO PARTY – Post-race swab sample.
WILLIES DOLLAR – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having not competed for in excess of 12 months. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
CALA GRECA – Pre-race blood sample.
NEVERTOOLATE – Caught wide early before working forward to the position outside the leader at the 1450 metres.
KERPAT JOY – Declared a late scratching at 2.06pm acting on veterinary advice.
LINE ME UP BRO NZ – Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
RACE 5 – FUR LIFE VET PACE – 1720 metres
BURRABADINE BULLET – Post-race swab sample.
ULTIMATE TROUBLE – Pre-race blood sample.
FOUR STAR LINCOLN – Broke in the score up and was out of position for which a warning was issued. Caught wide in the early stages of the event and over raced before being restrained to the rear of the field approaching the 1000 metres.
KATLAS DREAM – Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
RACE 6 – BLUES MEATS PACE – 1720 metres
LIMBO LOTTIE – Pre-race blood sample. Caught wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field passing the 1200 metres.
ROCKIN SWEET – Post-race swab sample.
TURN OUT THE LIGHT – Approaching the 50 metres hung out under pressure and raced roughly before breaking stride. In view of the filly’s recent record TURN OUT THE LIGHT will be required to perform two requalifying trials and be stood down for a period of 14 days.
VINYGETSACHANCE – Over raced throughout the event.
RISSA ROCKS RED - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having not competed for in excess of 12 months. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
RACE 7 – ORANA WOOL & SCRAP METAL 3YO PACE – 1720 metres
CALM REASON – Caught wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field passing the 1400 metres.
SMOKEY BOW – Pre-race blood sample.
SWEET SWEET TOOTH – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 8 – GALLAGHER LITTLE RED JUG FRIDAY MAY 30 PACE – 1720 metres
PAD THAI – Driver Jake Betts was questioned in regards to the tactics he adopted on the gelding. After a body of evidence was taken, Stewards adjourned the inquiry to a date to be fixed.
ABSOLUTE WEAPON – Post-race swab sample.
CELEBRITY CRUISE – Caught wide early before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1400 metres. Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
PHANTOM STAR – Driver Justin Reynolds was questioned in regards to the tactics he adopted in the event. After a body of evidence was taken, Stewards adjourned the inquiry to a date to be fixed.
FAKE MINT – Had a tendency to hang in throughout the event.
GOOD CHAT – Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
PET RANGER – Pre-race blood sample.
MAJOR ARK – Out of position at the start and will continue to be placed out of the draw in mobile starts.
