RACE 1 – MANTLES BUILDING AND LANDSCAPE SUPPLIES PACE – 1609 metres

DANCING WITH MY EX – Post-race sample.

BREXITT – Pre-race sample.

 

RACE 2 –BARASTOC/ THE RUG RACK PACE – 1609 metres

DECIPHER – Pre-race sample.

RUSHYS CHANCE – Tired to be beaten 57m and a warning was issued against the racing manners.

CRUSADER MISS – Trainer R Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late driving notification of A Delosa as the driver of the filly. Post-race sample.

 

RACE 3 –RANVET/ CARBINE CHEMICALS PACE – 1609 metres

The All Clear was delayed due to a technical issue with the photo finish equipment. Upon review of the official footage, the placings were verified with the run on of placings over the finish line and All Clear was announced.

NOTMUCHUPTOP – Post-race sample.

OUR ART CHRISTIAN NZ – Pre-race sample.

MERSADIES – Underwent pre and post-race examinations due to not having started in a race since March 2024. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.

FLUER BELLA – Obtained an inside run to the inside of MACS TOMADO NZ approaching the finish line however was not fully tested in the run to the finish.

 

RACE 4 – NEWCASTLE EQUINE CENTRE/ MEDOWIE LODGE PACE – 1609 metres

BOOKER BAY – Tightened and galloped racing into the first turn due to SEAMARK NZ which was racing wider laying in briefly. BOOKER BAY trailed the field for the remainder of the event.

SEAMARK NZ – Hung in racing into the first turn resulting in the racing room of BOOKER BAY being tightened and that runner galloping. A warning was issued against the racing manners of SEAMARK NZ.

SCREENSHOT – Locked wheels momentarily over the concluding stages with MAGIC SHOOS.

ROGERVALERIO LOMBO – Pre-race sample. Obtained and inside run over the concluding stages when SEAMARK NZ, which was leading, shifted out under pressure. Post-race sample.

JACKS UP – Tightened for racing room over the concluding between MAGIC SHOOS and SMOOTH ROLLING after MAGIC SHOOS shifted in after disengaging from locking wheels with SCREENSHOT.

MAGIC SHOOS – Inconvenienced racing around the first turn when trailing BOOKER BAY, when that runner galloped. Held up and unable to be fully tested in the run to the finish.

 

RACE 5 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND/ HVHRA PACE – 1609 metres

DOUBLE LINES – Driver K Langelaar was issued a reprimand under Rule 170(1)(a) for allowing her right foot to drop from the sulky footrest over the final 200m. Driver K Langelaar, who was having her first race drive, was spoken to advisedly regarding her whip action in the home straight.

SHADOW ECLIPSE – Post-race sample. Driver G Panella was fined $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) for applying the whip to her drive with more than a wrist only flicking action over the final 200m.

SLINGSHOT – Pre-race sample.

WAR WESTERN – Held up in the early stages of the home straight for clear racing room. Held up close to the finish line and raced in restricted room.

 

RACE 6 – BILL AND GLENN TOMLIN MEMORIAL HEAT ONE – 2030 metres

SHIRALEE – Pre-race sample. Over-raced early and middle stages.

FLARE UP – Post-race sample.

FRANKIROMAR – Paced roughly in the score up, was out of position at the start. A warning was issued against the racing manners of the mare.

 

RACE 7 – BILL AND GLENN TOMLIN MEMORIAL HEAT TWO – 2030 metres

OHWHATIWOULDGIVE – Post-race sample.

BODYLINE – Pre-race sample.

SHE MAYBE BETTOR – Late Scratching at 10:02am by Order Of Stewards due to an office error.

 

RACE 8 – BILL AND GLENN TOMLIN MEMORIAL HEAT THREE – 2030 metres

POPSTAROMAR – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be suffering two minor abrasions to the head area.

KARAOKE KING – Pre-race sample.

MERCURIUS – Post-race sample.
