LUKE JOHN NZ - When queried regarding the tactics adopted driver V Duncan explained instructions were to come out of the gate and work forward into the event and attempt for the lead position, if that was unavailable to race outside of the leader. He further added that when rounding the first turn was caught racing in a three wide position however, was racing on the bit at that stage. Moving on down the home straight on the first occasion looked to put pressure to find the position outside of the leader however, was unsuccessful with BETTERTHANFEDERER maintaining the position outside of the leader and as a result was left racing three wide, given the distance remaining in the event elected to remain three wide and rate his drive as best as he could as he felt there was no advantage in restraining to the rear of the field at that stage.
