RACE 1 – ULTRA AIR PACE – 1609 metres
I BREAK THE LINE – Pre-race blood sample.
MIKI PINS NZ – Broke gait in the early stages of the score up. A warning was issued. Failed to run on over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near hind leg. Adopting the veterinary recommendations, connections were advised MIKI PINS NZ would be stood down for a period of 7 days and until a veterinary certificate of fitness is submitted.
DASHING – Hung out after the start. Leaving the 200 metres commenced to hang out under pressure. A warning was issued.
PANDAIA NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Unable to obtain clear running until DASHING shifted out which afforded PANDAIA NZ a run to its inside. Post-race swab sample.
UBETCHA TIGERPIE – Passing the 150 metres was inclined to shift in under pressure.
OOGA CHAKA – Near the 150 metres was placed in restricted room when DASHING shifted out and UBETCHA TIGERPIE shifted in.
FRANCO TYSON – Unable to secure clear running until near the 200 metres at which point FRANCO TYSON was shifted wider.
RACE 2 – BESTINBEDS.COM.AU PACE – 1609 metres
TINDER SURPRISE NZ – Unable to secure clear running at any stage in the home straight and was not fully tested.
RIPP – Pre-race blood sample. Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines. No abnormalities were detected. Post-race swab sample.
TERRY NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Unable to secure clear running until shifting wider near the 200 metres.
FIRE FOX NZ – Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.
PETES SAID SO NZ - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines as the gelding was having its 210th race start. No abnormalities were detected.
RACE 3 – SKY RACING PACE – 2300 metres
This event commenced approximately 4.5 minutes late due to a false start.
TURBO TOMMY – Pre-race blood sample.
RAGING SEA – Pre-race blood sample. Broke gait in the early stages of the score up. Leaving the 300 metres became unbalanced and broke gait. A warning was issued.
DARK TERROR – Broke gait during the first score up. Driver J Bigeni raised his arm to indicate to the starter that he had incurred a gear issue. At a subsequent inquiry it was established the near side hopple shortener had wrapped around a hopple carrying strap. No further action was taken. Passing the 250 metres DARK TERROR had to be steadied away from RAGING SEA which broke gait.
THE METAL FLYER – Post-race swab sample.
PORT AU PRINCE NZ – Broke gait during the early stages of the second score up however was in position at the start. A warning was issued.
SPRINGFIELD AFFAIR – Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.
RACE 4 – NATIONALTROTGUIDE.COM.AU PACE – 1609 metres
SKYLORD – Pre-race blood sample.
DOM TORETTO NZ – Post-race swab sample.
COLLECT A DIME – Pre-race blood sample. Improved three wide in the middle stages before crossing to the position outside the leader near the 800 metres.
BAINBRIDGE – Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward.
RYANS GANGSTER – Broke gait in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued.
RACE 5 – BESTINBEDS.COM.AU JD WATTS FFA (LISTED CLASSIC) – 1609 metres
JAY OK – Unable to secure running for the majority of the home straight and was not fully tested.
NO HEART THROB NZ – Pre-race blood sample.
KINGMAKER NZ – Post-race swab sample.
NYACK – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 6 – THE CORDINA GROUP PACE – 1609 metres
PRINCE OF PEACE – Pre-race blood sample.
LOCHINVAR JAG – Pre-race blood sample.
TOMAHAWK BART – Post-race swab sample.
CORTEZ – Out of position at the start. Driver T Osmond pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to bring CORTEZ up into its barrier position prior to the start. T Osmond was fined $100. T Osmond pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 156(2)(a) for applying her whip in more than a wrist only flicking motion to CORTEZ over the final 300 metres. T Osmond was fined $200.
RACE 7 – FOR A REASON STANDING AT COBBITTY EQUINE FARM LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres
IMA QUEEN BEE – Pre-race blood sample.
TWILIGHT HEAVEN – Unable to secure clear running until passing the 150 metres at which point TWILIGHT HEAVEN was able to improve to the inside of MY CRACKLING ROSIE which shifted out.
JOELITA – Broke gait in the early stage of score up and lost significant ground. The mare took no competitive part in the event. A warning was issued.
IDEAL IN DREAMS – Pre-race blood sample. Unable to secure clear running at any stage in the home straight and was not fully tested.
CARRERA SUNSET NZ – Post-race swab sample.
BELLA DANZA – Raced roughly after the start.
RACE 8 – AGT SLOTS TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres
LEAF STRIDE NZ – Broke gait for a short distance after the start. Approaching the 1400 metres raced roughly. Connections were advised LEAF STRIDE NZ would be excluded from the mobile barrier draw for the immediate future.
SUNNY GEE – Pre-race blood sample.
CONSTANTINOPLE – Pre-race blood sample. The all clear was delayed to afford Stewards the opportunity to review CONSTANTINOPLE pacing and breaking under pressure. It was established approaching the 50 metres CONSTANTINOPLE paced for a short distance and was immediately checked and restrained which caused the gelding to break gait for a short distance. Stewards were satisfied that at all times CONSTANTINOPLE lost ground prior to resuming its correct gait close to the finish. Subsequently the all clear was given on the judges numbers of 9 – 7 – 11 – 8. A warning was placed on the race manners of CONSTANTINOPLE.

RACE 9 – AGNES BANKS DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING PACE – 1609 metres
DYNAMITES BEST – Pre-race blood sample.
THE SWIFT ONE – Pre-race blood sample.
SAMKERR NZ – When questioned, Trainer/Driver J Rattray explained the filly over raced significantly in the early and middle stages of the event. He added he would experiment with gear changes prior to its next start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an elevated heart rate. A warning was placed on SAMKERR NZ for over racing.
