RACE 1 – FARMER JOES WHOLESALE 2YO TROTTERS FOUNDATION HEAT 4 – 1609 METRES

ADELAIDE RED - Pre-race blood sample

IM DREAMING - Broke shortly after the start and trailed the field thereafter. In view of the filly’s recent record, IM DREAMING will now be placed outside the draw in future mobile start events.

CARTACALHA - Trainer Jarrod Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have the filly’s gear recorded.

ACACIA STRIDE - Trotted roughly under pressure approaching the 100 metres.

I CHOOSE YOU - Out of position at the start and will continue to be placed outside the draw in future mobile start events. Hung in approaching the 100 metres before breaking a short distance later and consequently I CHOOSE YOU will now be placed on its last chance to race truly.

RACE 2 – D M PLUMBING TROTTERS STANDING START HANDICAP – 1609 METRES

KENNYS SON - Held up during the early part of the straight.

RIOTERRA – Pre-race blood sample.

VALLEY STAR NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

IVANKA NZ - Broke shortly after the start and trailed the field thereafter. IVANKA NZ will now be placed outside the draw in future standing start events.

RACING EYES - Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 66 metres. In view of the gelding starting from the 20 metre handicap no action was taken.

OH NOVA LOVE NZ - Post-race swab sample.

ANDOVER SUN - Trainer Steven Lee was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have the gelding’s gear recorded.

AFFAIRE DE COVER - Slow to begin and will continue to be placed outside the draw in future standing start events.

RACE 3 – APG 2YO FILLIES PRELUDE – 1609 METRES

BETTORS CREATION - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample. Trainer Jarrod Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have the horses gear recorded.

MIRA DOMINA – Trainer Rickie Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have the horses gear recorded. Broke shortly after the start and will now be placed outside the draw in future mobile start events.

CINDYLOUSHANNON - Trainer Darren Elder was fine $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have the horses gear recorded.

ALITTLEBITOFSUGA - Slow to score up, out of position at the start and a warning was issued.

IMPERMISSIBLE – Pre-race blood sample. Held up during the early part of the straight and upon securing clear running passing the 200 metres paced roughly for a short distance.  

RACE 4 – APG 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS PRELUDE – 1609 METRES

BETTOR CRUNCH - Trainer Rickie Alchin was fine $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have the gelding’s gear recorded. Mr Alchin must further fined $50 under Rule 210 for failing to declare himself as the driver of the gelding by the required time.

MICKEYS RUN - Over raced shortly after the start.

MY ULTIMATE BANJO - Trainer Jarrod Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) failing to have the horses gear recorded.

DYNAMITEDAN – Pre-race blood sample. Trainer Emma Stewart was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) failing to have the colt’s gear recorded.

FRANCO LOU - Hung in during the score up, was out of position at the start and a warning was issued. Hung in under pressure inside the final 400 metres and in view of the colt’s recent record FRANCO LOU will now be placed on its last chance to race truly.

BELFAST CITY – Re-included in the mobile barrier draw.

RACE 5 – IRT YOUR HORSE OUR PASSION PACE – 1609 METRES

RACE 6 – MULTIQUIP AGGREGATES PACE – 1609 METRES

THE DEVILS FLAME - Pre-race blood sample.

MEMPHIS FURY - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

JOGALONG BLUE - Paced roughly during the latter stage of the score up, was out of position at the start and will continue to be placed outside the draw on future mobile start events. Over raced during the early stages.

 

RACE 7 – PRYDE’S EASIPERFORMANCE PACE – 1609 METRES

The start of this event was delayed when BANDIT EYES broke a hopple connector strap and cast a front shoe as a result of being interfered with during the score up at the first attempt prior to the false start being declared. This occurrence resulted in a significant delay with the race being conducted approximately 20 minutes behind schedule.

GIMME A REASON - Held up during the early part of the straight.

DOLCE DRAMA - Pre-race blood sample. Broke during the score up at the first attempt and was significantly out of position prior to a false start being declared. In view of the mare’s recent record, DOLCE DRAMA will now be placed outside the draw in future mobile start events.

LOCHIEL NZ - Broke during the score up at the first attempt and shifted out checking CASH AND BLING and BANDIT EYES resulting in a false start being declared. A warning was placed on the record LOCHIEL NZ.

CASH AND BLING - Checked during the score up at the first attempt when LOCHIEL NZ broke gait and shifted out.

BANDIT EYES - Checked during the score up at the first attempt when LOCHIEL NZ broke gate and shifted out. Re-included in the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 8 – WARDS ACCOUNTING GROUP PACE – 1609 METRES

BALTUSROL – Pre-race blood sample.

NO DRAMAS - Held up during the early part of the straight. Post-race swab sample.

EL CAMINO - Pre-race blood sample.

SUPA AMERICAN - Hung in passing the 600 metres.

 

RACE 9 – TINTIN IN AMERICA @ WINGATE FARM PACE – 1609 METRES

CAULONIA COURAGE - Pre-race blood sample. Driver Robert Morris was questioned regarding the performance of the gelding which finished in 10th placing beaten 30 metres ($4.05). Mr Morris advised he was unable to provide any tangible explanation for the performance. Post-race veterinary examination of CAULONIA COURAGE failed to reveal any significant findings.

PITCH PERFECT NZ - Driver Kerry Ann Morris pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 156(2)(a) in that over the concluding stages she applied the whip with more than a wrist only flicking motion. In assessing penalty Stewards took into account that this was Mrs Morris' third relevant offence and in accordance with the HRNSW Penalty Guidelines imposed a 7 day suspension of her licence to drive in races and a fine of $400. This suspension was deemed to commence midnight 12 June 2025 subject to any further request for amendment.
