RACE 1 – CORDINA FOOD CO PACE – 2300 metres
VITE MONET – Inclined to race roughly under pressure over the final 1300 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Driver C Hart explained that after settling 5 back on the marker pegs the tempo of the event made it very difficult to make up genuine ground. He added the increased distance may have also contributed to VITE MONET not finishing the race off as well as expected.

ROCLEA IMAGE – Post-race swab sample.
SOHO SPECTRE – Pre-race blood sample. Driver M Stanley explained that approaching the 400 metres the horse was inclined to move up the track slightly and has an extravagant hind leg action which resulted in his runner contacting the near side wheel of UNFAZED NZ which was racing tight to its outside. He said that after this incident the horse lost momentum. M Stanley added that had SOHO SPECTRE been able to remain racing hard on the back of DOUBLE ACT, in his opinion he would have been either held up for clear running over the concluding stages or with the benefit of some luck in running he may have been able to finish closer. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
UNFAZED NZ – Passing the 400 metres was inclined to hang in slightly and received contact to the near side sulky wheel from SOHO SPECTRE.
SKYLORD – A post-race veterinary examination revealed abrasions in the right eye of SKYLORD requiring treatment. Adopting the veterinary recommendations, no stand down period was applied.
RACE 3 – MENANGLE PARK COMMUNITY PACE – 1609 metres
HAS THE COURAGE – Pre-race blood sample.
TIMMY RICTOR – Pre-race blood sample. J Grimson will be spoken to in relation to the performance. Monday 9th June, J Grimson explained that the gelding displayed stiffness in the off for leg after cooling down completely after the race back at his stables. He added that on Sunday 8th June TIMMY RICTOR was exhibiting swelling in the near foreleg and it was his intention to have the horse scanned by his veterinarian in the near future. J Grimson undertook to report the findings. TIMMY RICTOR was stood down pending a veterinary certificate of fitness.

RACE 8 – BETTORS WISH STADING AT COBBITTY EQUINE FARM PACE – 2300 metres
RAKADEAKS NZ – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 45.6 metres. He added that the first 600 metres of the race was run solidly but RAKADEAKS NZ was travelling well until the final 300 metres when he became unbalanced and was under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
