RACE 1 – AGNES BANKS PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT 2YO TROTTERS FOUNDATION HEAT 5 – 1609 metres
CEE CEE IN PARIS – Pre-race blood sample.
ALDEBARAN TUCKER – Shortly after the start became unbalanced and broke gait. A warning was issued.
GLADIATRIX – Inclined to race greenly racing between the 1000 metres and the 800 metres. Post-race swab sample.
SUPERIOR STRIDE – Unable to obtain clear running until passing the 100 metres when shifted wider.
ACACIA STRIDE – Out of position at the start and will continue to be excluded form the mobile barrier draw. Passing the 300 metres raced roughly under pressure. Leaving the 100 metres paced and subsequently was broken up by its driver. A warning was issued.
IM DREAMING – Out of position at the start and will continue to be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.
RACE 2 – BE HAPPY MACH @ WINGATE FARM TROTTERS MOBILE – 2300 metres
HE IS HEARTTHROB – Approaching the first turn raced roughly and passing the 1800 metres became unbalanced and broke gait. In view of its recent record, connections were advised HE IS HEARTTHROB would be stood down for a period of 10 days and until it completes two trials to the satisfaction of stewards.
IVANKA NZ - Pre-race blood sample.
PHOEBE MAJESTIC NZ – Near the 1800 metres had to be steadied away from HE IS HEARTTHROB which broke gait.
CEE ARE SEVEN – Passing the 150 metres became unbalanced and broke gait. A warning was issued.
ELLOWEN – Passing the 1800 metres had to be steadied away from HE IS HEARTTHROB which broke gait.
ONE PINEVALE HILL – Out of position at the start despite the efforts of its driver. A warning was issued. Near the 400 metres became unbalanced and broke gait. A warning was issued.
VALLEY START NZ – Post-race swab sample.
MILITARY MERIT – Out of position at the start and will continue to be excluded from the mobile barrier draw. Near the 1800 metres had to be checked off ELLOWEN when that runner was steadied. Subsequently, MILITARY MERIT broke gait. No action was taken.
RACE 3 – SOLD @ APG SALES TROTTERS MOBILE – 2300 metres
OH NOVA LOVE NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
PROHIBITED LOVE – Trainer K Morris was fined $100 under Rule 273(5)(a) for presenting PROHIBITED LOVE into the parade ring in the incorrect saddle cloth number.
HES A HAMMER – Shortly after the start became unbalanced and broke gait. In view of its recent record, connections were advised HES A HAMMER would now be excluded form the mobile barrier draw.
AFFAIRE DE COVER – Near the 1400 metres received contact to the sulky from LAST CLANSMAN which was trailing.
LAST CLANSMAN – Approaching the 1400 metres the pace in the running line eased, made contact with the sulky of AFFAIRE DE COVER and subsequently broke gait.
WE CAN HAVE IT ALL – Will be reincluded in the mobile barrier draw.
ANDOVER SUN - Will be reincluded in the mobile barrier draw.
RACE 4 – BUBBA GUMP PEST CONTROL PACE – 1609 metres
BIRDY GAL – Pre-race blood sample.
JACQUELINE ROSE NZ – Had difficulty securing clear running until approaching the 200 metres when the mare was shifted in.
WHAT FOR – Shifted out slightly in the latter stages of the score up and locked wheels for a short distance with FOLLOW THE MONEY however what for was in position at the start. Inclined to hang in and race roughly between the 500 metres and the 400 metres.
FOLLOW THE MONEY – In the latter stages of the score up shifted in slightly and locked wheels with WHAT FOR however both runners disengaged quickly and FOLLOW THE MONEY was in position at the start. Post-race swab sample.
HELLOVATIME – Unable to secure clear running in the latter stages of the home straight and was not fully tested.
RACE 5 – AGTSLOTS.COM PACE – 1609 metres
CONSIDER IT DONE – Pre-race blood sample.
EXPLOSIVE BRONSKI – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 6 – CORDINA CHICKEN FARMS PACE – 1609 metres
BANDIT EYES – For the final 50 metres was inclined to shift out under pressure placing AMERICAN WEREWOLF in restricted room. Post-race swab sample.
DUTY OF CARE – Pre-race blood sample.
AMERICAN WEREWOLF – Leaving the 50 metres was placed in restricted room for a short distance between BANDIT EYES which shifted in and VALIENTE HANOVER.
TURBO TOMMY – Driver L Painting was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position behind the mobile barrier until the start.
DOLCE DRAMA – Out of position at the start and will continue to be excluded form the mobile barrier draw.
RACE 7 – MENANGLE PARK GLENLEE COMMUNITY PACE – 1609 metres
SWEET HAYLEY JANE – Pre-race blood sample. Unable to secure clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.
BALTUSROL – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 8 – NATIONALTROTGUIDE.COM.AU PACE – 1609 metres
WAVETHEBILL NZ – Weakened over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination could reveal no obvious abnormalities. Connections were unable to provide an explanation for the performance of the gelding. With the absence of an explanation and in consideration of the beaten margin, connections were advised WAVETHEBILL NZ would be stood down to complete one satisfactory trial.
AMERICAN HAMMER NZ – Pre-race blood sample.
PROMISING – Post-race swab sample.
VINKE B NZ – Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside the leader near the 1100 metres.
JORDY NZ – Broke gait in the score up however was in position at the start. A warning was issued. Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside the leader near the 900 metres.
