RACE 1 – HRNSW GURANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1660 metres

THE ACCIDENTAL ONE – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to not having started in a race since January 2024. Neither examination revealed any apparent abnormalities.  

IDEAL TAO – Driver M Johnson was issued with a reprimand for causing interference in the home straight on the final occasion. The movement outwards inconvenienced SHEZ A WARRIOR which was racing to the outside of IDEAL TAO.

SHEZ A WARRIOR – Pre-race sample. Galloped racing around the first turn and a warning was issued. Inconvenienced in the home straight on the final occasion when IDEAL TAO shifted outwards.

GIRLS VIEW – Caused a false start at the first attempt after galloping checking runners on the second row. In assessing the previous barrier manners of GIRLS VIEW the mare was placed outside the mobile barrier draw. Hung in at various stages throughout a warning was issued.

ULTIMATE TROUBLE – Post-race sample.

 

RACE 2 – PARKES LEAGUES CLUB PACE – 1660 metres

IDEAL DENNY – Pre-race sample.

LINE ME UP BRO NZ – Over-raced during the early and middle stages.

ROCKNROLL UPTON – Over-raced during the early and middle stages.

BOLZANO NZ – Post-race sample. Driver P Betts’ left foot momentarily slipped from the sulky footrest upon entering the home straight on the final occasion.

 

RACE 3 – MEDLYNS/CASTROL PACE – 1660 metres

JESSIE LEE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to contacting the outside fence when leaving the parade ring and entering the track. Cleared to race. Failed to participate in the pre-race warm up and required the assistance of the Clerk Of Course to proceed to the pre-race circle prior to the start. A warning was issued against the racing manners of the filly.

THE DOME – Post-race sample.

JILLIBY TSUNAMI – Tired to be beaten 58m and a warning was issued.

TRUE LOGIC – Pre-race sample.

DUSTY MUSTER – Tired to be beaten in excess of 100m and was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.

 

RACE 4 – QUICKSHINE CARWASH PACE – 1660 metres

MOHAWK PARK – Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and was unable to be fully tested at any stage.

LENNOX BROMAC NZ – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.

JOHNNYS BLUE – Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and was unable to be fully tested at any stage.

 

RACE 5 – RICE PROPERTY & LIVESTOCK PACE – 2040 metres

General – The start was delayed due to a gear alteration being conducted on MERAKI. Prior to the declaration of All Clear Stewards viewed the start, it was established the during the middle stages of the score up MERAKI (barrier 1) had progressed in advance of the mobile barrier arm for a short distance. However, was restrained and at the start point was positioned behind the mobile barrier arm. Stewards were satisfied that MERAKI had gained no advantage at the start point and All Clear was announced.

MERAKI – Tired to be beaten in excess of 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be 2/5 lame in the off fore. Acting upon veterinary advise MERAKI was stood down until the completion of a satisfactory veterinary clearance.

DRIVE TO THE BEACH – Pre-race sample.

WEONA SIR VIVOR – Inconvenienced between the 900m and 700m when trailing MERAKI after that runner commenced to give ground. As a result of WEONA SIR VIVOR being inconvenienced and shifted wider at this point, CAPTAIN OF SPEED, HELLO I TEA and BARRY LIMBO were all momentarily shifted wider on the track and raced three wide.

SIR RICHARD LEE – It was reported that the gelding contacted its own sulky wheels prior to commencing to give ground and tire at the 800m. Tired to be beaten in excess of 100m and was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

CAPTAIN OF SPEED – Held up for clear racing room rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight.

ROCKNROLL RAIDER – Checked leaving the 400m when racing between BARRY LIMBO, which hung in and CAMANCHI WARRIOR on the peg line. As a result, contacted the inside sulky wheel of BARRY LIMBO and shortly after galloped.

HELLO I TEA – Post-race sample.

BARRY LIMBO – Commenced to hang in leaving the 400m resulting in ROCKNROLL RAIDER, which was racing directly to the inside, being checked and soon after galloping. A warning was issued against the racing manners of BARRY LIMBO.

 

RACE 6 – C & S STOCKFEEDS PACE – 1660 metres

CAPTAIN LLANFAIR – Pre-race sample.

GOOD CHAT – Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and was unable to be fully tested at any stage.

NIKALONG MINT – Hung out after the start then throughout the event tended to hang in and hang out at various stages. A warning was issued against the racing manners of the gelding.

LADY ROCKABELLUM – Over-raced during the middle stages and hung out approaching the winning post with one lap to travel. This resulted in NIKALONG MINT which was racing three -wide being slightly inconvenienced for a short distance. Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and was unable to be fully tested at any stage.

STUDLEIGH STARLITE – Post-race sample.

CALA GRECA – Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and was unable to be fully tested at any stage.

 

RACE 7 – CALRINDA PARK IT PACE – 2040 metres

OUR RED ATOM – Checked at the 600m when SERGEANT STRINGER galloped.

SERGEANT STRINGER – Pre-race sample. Leaving the 800m commenced to pace roughly before galloping leaving the front straight with one lap to travel. OUR RED ATOM, YANNICK GEE, JOHEMIAN and GRANT FOR LEXY were all checked. SERGEANT STRINGER, which was having its third race start was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.

MONSTER MINT – Inconvenienced leaving the 1800m when CAM I AM galloped.

CAM I AM – Galloped free of interference leaving the 1800m, inconveniencing MONSTER MINT, THE OCEAN SPIRIT NZ and PAD THAI. In assessing the previous racing record of CAM I AM connections were advised that the gelding would be stood down for a period of 14 days and until the completion of two satisfactory trials.   

PAD THAI – Inconvenienced and paced roughly due to CAM I AM galloping and then racing erratically a short distance later.

THE OCEAN SPIRIT NZ – Post-race sample. Inconvenienced leaving the 1800m when CAM I AM galloped.

YANNICK GEE – Checked at the 600m when SERGEANT STRINGER galloped.

JOHEMIAN – Checked at the 600m when SERGEANT STRINGER galloped.

GRANT FOR LEXY - Checked at the 600m when SERGEANT STRINGER galloped.

 

RACE 8 – TOM YOUNG CONCRETING PACE – 1660 metres

THE RINGMASTER – Post-race sample.

VALENTINI – Pre-race sample.

ERMINNIE QUINCE – Over-raced before tiring to be beaten in excess of 100m. ERMINNIE QUINCE was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.

CARIBBEAN PAT – Over-raced in the middle stages.

ONE HORN BILLY – Driver J Coney explained that the pre-race intention was to drive ONE HORN BILLY forward in the field to have the gelding finish the race off more competitive. Mr Coney added that after that eventuated ONE HORN BILLY commenced to be placed under pressure at the 600m and failed to respond to driving and proved disappointing at the conclusion of the race.

 

RACE 9 – TAB.COM.AU PACE – 2040 metres

TURN OUT THE LIGHT – Declared a late scratching at 8:01pm on vets advise. Acting upon veterinary advise the filly was stood down until the completion of a satisfactory veterinary clearance.

EXCUSE TO CULLECT – Held up and unable to be fully tested in the run to the finish.

SHOOBEES SUNSET – Pre-race sample.

BEAUTIFULLY PUT – Declared a late scratching at 1:19pm acting upon veterinary advice.

SHES PERFECTION – Post-race sample.
