RACE 1 – COCA COLA PACE – 1609 metres
NOWORRIES – Had a tendency to hang out throughout the event.
GOZO COURAGE – After beginning well had a tendency to hang out and was reluctant to move to a position on the marker pegs despite the efforts of Driver Brad Elder. The gelding continued to hang out until approaching the 500 metres when GOZO COURAGE raced roughly and gave ground to be beaten 42.2 metres. In view of the overall manners of GOZO COURAGE, the gelding will be required to perform one requalifying trial. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
OLLIE ONE SHOT – Pre-race blood sample.
WALLAROY BOY – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
BREXITT – Shifted out under pressure for which a warning was issued. Post-race swab and a delayed swab sample at 3 hours post-race was also taken.
RACE 2 – JB CATERING PACE – 1609 metres
GUNFIGHTERSGHOST – Post-race swab sample.
EYES BEEN PATIENT – Broke in the score up for which a warning was issued.
TORQUE LIKE A LADY -Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 57.3 metres for which a warning was issued.
SUMMER ROCKSTAR – Pre-race blood sample.
BETTOR BE LUCKY - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
POLISH PRINCE – Had a tendency to hang out throughout the event.
RACE 3 – SHARP OFFICE PACE – 1609 metres
BRING YOUR BEST – Broke in the score up for which a warning was issued.
IRE OF THE DRAGON – Commenced to improve three wide passing the 1300 metres before working forward to the position outside the leader approaching the 1000 metres.
LUCKY RICTOR – Pre-race blood sample. Driver Daniel Carmody was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that passing the 200 metres he has shifted the gelding wider when not sufficiently clear of DOUBLE LINES causing that runner to be checked and race roughly. Post-race swab sample.
SIR CANDY CLOUD – Caught wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field passing the 1100 metres.
DOUBLE LINES – Passing the 200 metres was checked and raced roughly when LUCKY RICTOR was moving wider on the track.
THE MALDIVES - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
RACE 4 – TOOHEYS PACE – 1609 metres
MAGIC SHOOS – Pre-race blood sample. Shifted out under pressure for which a warning was issued.
JACKS UP - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
SLINGSHOT - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Held up for clear running I the home straight and was not fully tested.
GROSESTAR – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 5 – PSC INSURANCE BROKERS PACE – 1609 metres
BE GOOD BENNY – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 32.1 metres.
MY LADY SARAH – Post-race swab sample.
SHADOW ECLIPSE - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Caught wide early before working forward to the lead at the 1100 metres.
WATCH ME REACT – Pre-race blood sample.
ERROL FIN – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.
RACE 6 – AVE TECHNOLOGIES PACE – 1609 metres
DEECEE ROCKIN – Pre-race blood sample.
KAROKE KING – Post-race swab sample.
CHEDDAR VALLEY NZ – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
JEFFCOATE – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 7 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1609 metres
LONGWINDINGROAD – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres.
MULLUM ROXY – Broke shortly after the start for which a warning was issued. Driver Michelle Neilson was cautioned for lowering her left foot from the sulky rest when activating gear.
MAGIC MATTEO – Held up for clear running in the home straight and not fully tested.
NIFTY STUDLEIGH - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
MAJOR MICKEY – Post-race swab sample.
JOHNSON STEP NZ – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
YESNOMAYBESO – Pre-race blood sample. A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
