RACE 1 – D M PLUMBING PACE – 1609 metres
PROMISING – Pre-race blood sample.
MIRACULOUS NZ – Trainer Jason Grimson was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to lodge a gear notification for the gelding. Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
QUIET STORM – A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to have bled in both nostrils and acting in accordance with Rule 101(3)(a) QUIET STORM was stood down for a period of 3 months, the production of a veterinary certificate of clearance and one requalifying trial.
RACE 2 – BESTINBEDS.COM.AU PACE – 1609 metres
DUKES CHOICE – Pre-race blood sample.
HAS THE COURAGE – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 100 metres.
STILL ROLLIN NZ – Post-race swab sample.
ROCK FISHERMAN – Pre-race blood sample.
PLAY IT COOL NZ – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1100 metres.
RACE 3 – SUCCESS STUD PACE – 1609 metres
OUTSIDE FIGHTER – Pre-race blood sample.
DANCE AND DELIVER – Pre-race blood sample. Over raced during the middle stages of the event.
CRAFTMANS CHARLIE – Post-race swab sample.
ROLL UP NZ – Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1100 metres.
ARGGGHHH – Held up over the final 50 metres.
RACE 4 – CLUB MENANGLE WARATAH FINAL – 1609 metres
BACKWARDS FIRST – Pre-race blood sample.
MAMMALS RIDDLE – Stewards questioned Driver Chloe Formosa with regards to the performance of the gelding which weakened over the concluding stages to finish in 8th placing beaten 34 metres. Miss Formosa advised Stewards the gelding was very disappointing having dropped the bit at the 1200 metres and failed to run on from that point. Miss Formosa further advised Stewards that it was the gelding’s first time racing at Menangle and that combined with the travel may have contributed to the performance of the gelding this evening. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the explanation provided by Miss Formosa, Stewards determined to note her comments.

ARTEMIS MISSION – Worked forward to the lead passing the 700 metres.
RACE 5 – ULTRA AIR PACE – 1609 metres
MONTALBANO – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
UBETCHA TIGERPIE – The rein burr affixed to the near side rein became dislodged passing the 150 metres.
CURLY JAMES – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 6 – CONFEDERATE STANDING AT COBBITTY EQUINE FARM LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres
ONYX SHARD NZ – Stewards questioned Driver Jye Coney with regards to the performance of the mare which weakened over the concluding stages to finish in 10th placing beaten 43 metres. Mr Coney advised that he felt the performance of the mare was extremely disappointing although he was unable to provide an explanation. A post-race veterinary examination of the mare failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the recent record of the mare, it was stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial.
ZENXENA – Held up in the early stages of the home straight. Driver Chloe Formosa was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that passing the 150 metres she attempted to shift MY CRACKLING ROSIE wider on the track and in doing so raced inside the line of that runner causing it to be checked.

IDEAL IN DREAMS – Pre-race blood sample.
MISSAUDACIOUS – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.
TWILIGHT HEAVEN – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres.
MY CRACKLING ROSIE - Checked passing the 150 metres when ZENXENA was shifted wider on the track.
BELLA DANZA – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 7 – SUMMERTIME PREMIUM POULTRY TROTTERS DISCRETIONARY HANDICAP – 2300 metres
HES A HAMMER – Slow to begin.
JUNGLE EYES – Pre-race blood sample. Galloped out. Broke after the start checking TOP OF THE MOMENT NZ and SUNNY GEE causing TOP OF THE MOMENT NZ to race roughly for a short distance. After considering the recent record of the gelding, it was placed outside the standing start draw.
ANDOVER SUN – Galloped out. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.
MALIBUU – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 100 metres.
HOT TO TROT NZ – Checked after the start and raced roughly for a short distance when JUNGLE EYES broke stride. Broke stride free of interference approaching the 1800 metres. After considering the recent record of the gelding, it was stood down for a period of 10 days and the completion of two requalifying trials. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1300 metres.

TOP OF THE MOMENT NZ – Checked after the start.
SUNNY GEE – Checked after the start when JUNGLE EYES broke stride.
TORO STRIDE – Slow to begin. Post-race swab sample.
RACE 8 – HRNSW THREE YEAR OLD TROT NSW FINAL (GROUP 2) – 1609 metres
KENNYS SON – Pre-race blood sample. Over raced during the middle stages of the event. Broke stride free of interference passing the 500 metres inconveniencing MONTY MONTE and YOUR MAJESTY causing MONTY MONTE to become unbalanced and break stride. After considering the recent record of the colt, it was stood down until the completion of one qualifying trial.
YOUR MAJESTY – Galloped out. After considering the recent record of the filly, it was placed outside the mobile barrier draw. Inconvenienced approaching the 400 metres when KENNYS SON broke stride.
DONNIE GAL – Broke stride free of interference passing the 250 metres. After considering the recent record of the filly, a warning was issued.
JACKIES GIFT – Pre-race blood sample. Driver Grant Forrest was fined $100 under Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position behind the mobile barrier prior to the start of the event.
SEBASTIANS WAITING – Post-race swab sample.
SAN JUAN MOUNTIAN – Hung in under pressure over the final 100 metres.
MISS OHANA – Post-race swab sample.
MAJOR MONTE – Out of position at the start despite the efforts of Driver Chris Geary. After considering the recent record of the colt, it will continue to be placed right outside the mobile barrier draw. Inconvenienced and became unbalanced passing the 500 metres when KENNYS SON broke stride which ultimately caused the colt to break stride passing the 400 metres. No further action was taken.
RACE 9 – HRNSW TWO YEAR OLD TROT NSW FINAL (GROUP 2) – 1609 metres
DALAHASTEN – Out of position at the start despite the efforts of Driver Grant Forrest. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.
ALDEBARAN TUCKER – Post-race swab sample.
CEE CEE IN PARIS – Pre-race blood sample. Hung out in the latter stages of the score up before breaking stride and as a result was out of position at the start. After considering the recent record of the filly, a warning was issued.
GLADIATRIX – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
IM DREAMING – Back in the mobile barrier draw.
