RACE 1 – STARZ GAME SHOW @ CLUB PACEWAY EVERY SAT PACE – 1720 metres

SUNSHINE KARAMEA – Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside the leader near the 1000 metres.

LADY DELORIS – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

GOODTIME SAILOR – Commenced to give ground leaving the 600 metres and tired over the concluding stages.  Driver B McDonough explained that the mare was never travelling well throughout and made a wheezing sound.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.  Connections were advised that GOODTIME SAILOR must complete one satisfactory official trial prior to resuming racing for what was deemed to be an unsatisfactory performance. 

DECIPHER – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.

 

RACE 2 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1720 metres

GOODTIME BRAVO – Leaving the 200 metres was placed in restricted room and raced over marker pegs. 

ROCKSIE ROCK – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

RIO DE JANEIRO BLUE NZ – Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field near the 1300 metres.

DILETTO – Improved three wide during the early stages and crossed to the position outside of the leader near the 1300 metres.  Leaving the 200 metres was placed in restricted room between DESIDERIO and GOODTIME BRAVO.

MAID OF MONEY NZ – Unable to secure clear running until passing the 100 metres. 

WHEREISHE – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Unable to secure clear running at any stage in the home straight and was not fully tested.

DESIDERIO – Passing the 300 metres when racing three wide was placed in restricted room by LILS NIGHTMARE NZ which shifted in. 

LILS NIGHTMARE NZ – Passing the 200 metres when racing four wide was inclined to hang in despite the efforts of its driver resulting in DESIDERIO being tightened and taken in towards DILETTO which in turn was taken across GOODTIME BRAVO subsequently that runner contacted marker pegs. 

 

RACE 3 – MAJOR OAK THEATRE RESTAURANT PACE – 1720 metres

OURSURFINSAFARI – Leaving the 300 metres was checked and held up behind NEVERTOOLATE which was weakening.  Subsequently OURSURFINSAFARI was unable to secure clear running at any stage over the concluding stages.

NEVERTOOLATE – Leaving the 600 metres commenced to give ground and was placed under pressure.

DASHING CHEDDAR – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Post-race swab samples were obtained.

VESPA STRIDE – Near the 1200 metres was inconvenienced when LOOKIN GOOD MARGIE shifted out.

 

RACE 4 – PENRITH CITY COUNCIL PACE – 2125 metres

RADIANT AMBER – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected.  Near the 300 metres was placed in restricted room by GREY CADILLAC when that runner shifted in.

WHYIMAN – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.

GREY CADILLAC – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected.  Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.  Leaving the 300 metres was inclined to hang in under pressure causing RADIANT AMBER to tightened for racing room.

EYEKNOW – Out of position at the start.  A warning was issued. 

RED SAPPHIRE – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

 

RACE 5 – PENRITH SHOW TICKETS ON SALE NOW PACE – 1720 metres

KILLARA SAMURAI – Raced roughly after the start.  Passing the 200 metres was placed in restricted room, contacted marker pegs and race roughly when ITZMINONTHELINE shifted in.

ROYAL DIVISION – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

ITZMINEONTHELINE – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Approaching the 200 metres when racing two wide shifted in when not quite clear of KILLARA SAMURAI which was weakening and subsequently that runner was taken across marker pegs.  Driver K Bigeni was issued a reprimand under rule 163(1)(a)(iii).

 

RACE 6 – WWW.123TIX.COM.AU PACE – 1720 metres

CLEMENTSORRELL – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected.

WOODLEA BEAVER NZ – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

THE MALDIVES – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected.

LANI KAI BEACH – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected.

CHARLIES ACE NZ – Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.

IDEAL REDEMPTION – Unable to secure clear running at any stage in the home straight and was not fully tested.

PETES BIG JIM – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.

 

RACE 7 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1720 metres

THE DEVIS FLAME – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

HELLOVATIME – Hung out after the start and near the 1600 metres struck the near side wheel of KASBAH subsequently HELLOVATIME raced roughly.  A warning was placed on HELLOVATIME for hanging out.

KASBAH – Leaving the 1600 metres received a contact to its near side sulky wheel from HELLOVATIME which hung out and subsequently KASBAH sustained a flat tyre.

STARTIN TO GOGH – Unable to secure clear running until passing the 100 metres.  Post-race swab samples were obtained.

SKY CITY NZ – Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.

OKAY GRINGO – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

MISTER QUIRK – Unable to secure clear running at any stage of the home straight and was not fully tested. 

THERES WALLY – Unable to secure clear running at any stage of the home straight and was not fully tested. 

 

RACE 8 – PENRITH MAZDA PACE – 1720 metres

ADIRADIVA – Unable to secure clear running until passing the 100 metres.

DELIGHTFULLY SWEET – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

HES MY REASON – Unable to secure clear running at any stage of the home straight and was not fully tested.

SOHO HUDSON – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward and breaking gait near the 1000 metres.  SOHO HUDSON then broke gait on a second occasion near the 500 metres.  Connections were advised that the gelding will be stood down from racing until it can complete one satisfactory official trial.
