Stewards ordered mudguards to be worn with the track being rain affected.

RACE 1 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1730 metres

THE POTATO EATERS – ($31.00) Driver Justin Reynolds was queried into the seemingly poor performance of the gelding which yielded ground rapidly from the 600m to finish in 9th and last position beaten 135.2m after racing in a favourable one-one position throughout the event. Mr Reynolds attributed the performance to the gelding failing to race in a genuine manner when racing in the field and provided to be disappointing & connections would now consider spelling the gelding. A post -race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. THE POTATO EATERS will now be stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.

RIVIERE – Driver Jett Turnbull was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position until the start was effected.  Post-race swab.

RATATATTAT – Pre-race swab. Broke gait clear of interference passing the 300m. A warning was issued against the racing manners of RATATATTAT.

RACE 2 – BARKERS BUTCHERY MEAT RAFFLE NEXT WEEK PACE – 1730 metres

JAMBEROO ARK – ($3.80 Fav) Pre-race swab. Driver Jett Turnbull was queried into the overall performance of the gelding which finished in 6th position beaten 6.7m after leading the event. Mr Turnbull advised the gelding to be slightly disappointing & attributed the performance to the added pressure applied during the middle stages of the event with the first half recorded in 57.4 seconds on a rain affected track and the gelding hanging inwards under pressure from the 300m onwards. 

LINE ME UP BRO NZ – Raced roughly when being eased wider on the track passing the 300m.

MARVELLA – Post-race swab.

RACE 3 – MOORHEAD CRANES LADYSHIP PACE – 2260 metres

ONE STUNIN MELODY – Gave ground from the 400m to finish in 10th and last position beaten 40.2m.

DELIGHTFUL STAR NZ – Post-race swab.

YARRAMAN KAYLOU – Pre-race swab. Back in mobile draw.

RACE 4– BLUEPRINT SIGNS PACE – 1730 metres

BARLOW HEAVEN – Post-race swab.

HOOKED ON WINNING NZ – Driver Jason Turnbull was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position until the start was effected. Held up during the early stages of the home straight prior obtaining clear running.

CAMANCHI WARRIOR – ($6.50) Driver Jye Coney was queried into the overall performance of the entire which finished in 10th and last position beaten 18.6m after racing outside the leader throughout. Mr Coney attributed the performance to a combination of the entire pulling hard throughout the event & racing outside the leader to be the main factors for CAMANCHI WARRIOR performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

ARTEMIS MISSION – ($4.00 Fav) Driver Harrison Ross was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position until the start was effected.  Driver Harrison Ross was queried into the overall performance of the mare which finished in 9th position beaten 13.4m. Mr Ross attributed the performance to ARTEMIS MISSION pulling hard throughout the event and failing to settle which was the main factor in the mare failing to run on over the concluding stages of the event.

TAPAGANOOSH – Pre-race swab.

MITCHELLS RUN – Hung inwards during the latter stages of the score up resulting in the gelding being out of position when the start was effected despite the drivers’ efforts. A warning was issued against MITCHELLS RUN barrier manners.

GABBYS SPORTSTAR – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.  

RACE 5 – PANTHERS BATHURST PACE – 1730 metres

HES A MEISTER NZ – Pulled hard during the early & middle stages of the event.

BAXTER RED – Post-race swab.

PAS DE CHEVAL – Held up during the early stages of the home straight prior obtaining clear running.

CASSIUS DECK – Pre-race swab.

RACE 6 – NUTRIEN GOLD CROWN SALE GRADUATE HEATS AUGUST 6 2YO PACE – 1730 metres

ROCKNROLL BLING – Held up and failed to gain clear running for the entire length of the home straight.

LUCKY BAMBINO – Inconvenienced & held up during the early stages when WOKKA ROCK was giving ground.

TIGER JEWEL – Broke gait clear of interference passing the 300m. TIGER JEWEL will now be stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.

WOKKA ROCK – Hung inwards from the 500m and contacted marker pegs despite the driver’s efforts. WOKKA ROCK will now be placed on its last chance to race truly.

NOTHINGFINER – Pre-race swab. Trainer Chris Judd was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 268A(1) for presenting the colt in gear which was not correctly declared. Post-race swab.

RACE 7 – BEDWELL FEEDBARN ACE – 1730 metres

STAY FOOLISH – Pulled hard throughout the event.

FIFTY THREE STARS – Pre-race swab.

YA RACIN ARLO – Post-race swab.

NIKALONG MINT – Hung inwards shortly after the start was effected & and hung inwards at various stages of the event. A warning was issued against NIKALONG MINT racing manners.

RACE 8 – BLINDS BY DESIGN PACE – 1730 metres

LEXY LONGSTOCKINGS – Post-race swab.

BETTOR BRILLIANCE – Trainer Bernie Hewitt was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 210 for the late declaration of the driver upon the filly.

TREACHEROUS JET – Pre-race swab. Trainer Mat Rue was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 268A(1) for presenting the gelding in gear which was not correctly declared.

SERGEANY PEE JAY – Hung inwards under pressure from the 200m onwards.

STAR TIN – Hung inwards during the latter stages of the score up and raced roughly and was out of position when the start was effected. STAR TIN will now be placed on its last chance in the draw.
