RACE 1 – BREED YOUR MARE AT SUCCESS STUD PACE – 1660 metres

PHAR LUME NZ – Post-race swab.

HARVEY HUGHES NZ – Pre-race blood. 

 

RACE 2 – DEANS HYDRAULICS PACE – 1660 metres

LENNOX BROMAC NZ – Pre-race blood.  Post-race swab.

LOVE WATCH – Approaching the 600 metres became unbalanced and broke stride.  A warning was issued.

DEEWHY – From the 300 to the 200 metres had a tendency to race roughly and hang in under pressure.

POTTER – Held up for clear racing room until the final 100 metres.

 

RACE 3 – PARKES FARM CENTRE PACE – 1660 metres

BEACH ON FIRE – Post-race swab.

CHILLAX – Driver K Dean was advised to exercise care when shifting her runner back down the track at the 300 metres inconvenienced JAY BEE where her runner was hanging in under pressure.

OUR DICKIE BART – Pre-race blood.

ORANGE FEVER – Over raced in the early and middle stages of the event.  Approaching the 650 metres raced roughly for a short distance. 

JAY BEE – Inconvenienced at the 250 metres as a result of CHILLAX shifting back down the track and hanging in under pressure. 

GIRLS VIEW – Broke stride in the early stages of the score up.  Considering the mare’s recent racing record she will be placed outside the mobile barrier draw in future starts.  Leaving the 300 metres became unbalanced and broke stride.  A warning was issued.

 

RACE 4 – WESTERN DISTRICTS CHAMPIONSHIP HEAT – 2040 metres

BOHEMIAN BRAWLER – Pre-race blood.

ROCK STEADY – Galloped out as the start was affected.  Considering the gelding’s recent record he will now be placed outside the mobile barrier draw in future starts.

ALWAYSBMINNIE – Driver J Reynolds was cautioned on his whip use in the home straight on the final occasion.

TEDDY FEELS GOOD – Over raced throughout the event.  Held up for clear racing room until the final 100 metres.

JUSTA DRAGON – Post-race swab.

KADAR – Driver C Masotti was cautioned on her whip use in the home straight on the final occasion.

 

RACE 5 – OUTBACK DIGITAL AGENCY PACE – 1660 metres

KRISTA BELLITA – Pre-race blood.  Slow to begin when the start was affected.  Had a tendency to hang in under pressure over the final 300 metres.

HUDSON RIVER – Post-race swab.

MISS BLUE STORK – Driver J Coney was queried on the mare’s overall performance where she gave ground over the concluding stages finishing in ninth and last position beaten 38.4 metres.  He stated although being up in grade in tonight’s event and having to race outside the leader he was disappointed in the overall performance.  Mr Coney further stated that the stable would consider the mare’s future racing within their stable in the coming days. 

ELITE GEORGE – Inconvenienced after the start as a result of KRISTA BELLITA being slow to begin.

 

RACE 6 – LANGLANDS HANLON PACE – 1660 metres

CHASIN YOU – Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and not fully tested. 

SHOOBEES SUNSET – Driver N Hurst was issued a reprimand under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that approaching the 1500 metres has shifted his runner down the track when insufficiently clear of TENEACHWAY and as a result that runner was tightened and broke stride when being restrained.  Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and not fully tested. 

VALENTINI – Post-race swab.

MOWHAWK PARK – Pre-race blood. 

MIDNIGHT TERROR – Hung in under pressure over the final 200 metres.

TENEACHWAY – Tightened for racing room at the 1500 metres as a result of SHOOBEES SUNSET shifting down the track.  When being restrained the gelding broke stride.

ARTS FELLA – Became unbalanced and broke stride at the 1550 metres.  A warning was issued.  Raced rough under pressure when entering the home straight on the final occasion.

ROSIES BOY – Checked and broke at the 1500 metres when shifting wider to avoid ARTS FELLA.

 

RACE 7 – HYNASH GROUP PACE – 1660 metres

JUSTADIVA – Post-race swab.

ROSE OF JULIANA – Pre-race blood.  Trainer/driver A Clancy was questioned on the overall performance of the mare which tired over the final 300 metres to finish in ninth position beaten 35.3 metres.  He stated after beginning well it was the intention to obtain cover with the mare, with RUNPOPRUN racing to his outside ROSE OF JULIANA began to over race and was unable to be restrained and as a result raced outside the leader which proved detrimental to her overall performance.

RUNPOPRUN – Driver J Rusten was issued a reprimand under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when approaching the 1100 metres has shifted her runner down the track when insufficiently clear of CAPTAIN LLANFAIR and as a result that runner was shifted down to the marker line position.  In not taking further action Stewards were mindful of Miss Rusten’s relative inexperience, the time it took for RUNPOPRUN to shift  to the position in the running line and CAPTAIN LLANFAIR progressing at some speed to her inside.  The gelding tired over the final 500 metres to finish in tenth and last position beaten 49.9 metres.  Miss Rusten stated when not being able to obtain a forward position the gelding appeared to lose interest in racing and when placed under pressure over the final 600 metres failed to respond and was disappointed in the overall performance.  A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

NEVERTOOLATE – Approaching the 250 metres when being shifted wider broke stride.  Considering the gelding’s recent record NEVERTOOLATE will be required to requalify on one occasion.

CAPTAIN LLANFAIR – Approaching the 1100 metres was inconvenienced when being shifted from a running line to a marker line peg as a result of RUNPOP run shifting down the track.  Driver K Winnell was issued a reprimand under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when approaching the 250 metres has shifted his runner out when insufficiently clear of THE ACCIDENTIAL ONE and as a result that runner was inconvenienced.  Had a tendency to hang out over the final 1000 metres.  A warning was issued.

THE ACCIDENTIAL ONE – Inconvenienced at the 250 metres when CAPTAIN LLANFAIR was being shifted wider when not quite clear.

 

RACE 8 – TAB.COM.AU PACE – 1660 metres

KAELEIGHS COMET – Driver A Clancy pleaded guilty to a charge under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when being held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight has shifted his runner wider when insufficiently clear of CAM I AM and as a result has made contact to that runner’s inside front leg and was checked and raced roughly.  Considering Mr Clancy’s guilty plea and record in relation to this rule his licence to drive in races was suspended for a period of seven days.  This suspension is to commence at midnight Friday, 1 August 2025.

AMERICAN DANCER – When negotiating the first turn became unbalanced and broke stride.  Approaching the 1000 metres hung in considerably contacting marker pegs and racing inside pegs for some distance.  The filly was then retired from the event.  A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.  AMERICAN DANCER will be stood down for one requalifying trial.   Trainer/driver Mr K Winnell advised Stewards it would be the intentions to retire the filly from racing.

SMOKEY BOW – Inconvenienced when negotiating the first turn when shifting wider to avoid AMERICAN DANCER.  Checked when held up clear running between the 600 and 400 metres.

FOR A DREAM – When negotiating the first turn was inconvenienced when shifting wider to avoid AMERICAN DANCER

CAM I AM – Had a tendency to over race throughout the event.  Leaving the 100 metres was checked and raced roughly after contacting the sulky wheel of KAELEIGHS COMET who was shifted wider when insufficiently clear.
