RACE 1 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 2100 metres
BETTES BLUE VIOLET – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
JESSIE LEE – Placed into restricted room passing the 1200 metres as a result of ULTIMATE TROUBLE shifting down the track. Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.
BULLI BELLE – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.
ULTIMATE TROUBLE – Pre-race blood sample. Driver Jye Coney was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that approaching the 1200 metres when racing in a three wide position he has shifted the mare down the track placing JESSIE LEE into restricted room.
MILLYANO – Out of position at the start and will be continued out of the draw in mobile starts. Driver Todd Day was fined $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) for applying the whip in more than a wrist only flicking motion over the concluding stages of the event.
RACE 2 – RIVERINA STOCKFEEDS PACE – 1720 metres
LETSTACOBOUTIT – Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
RIVERINA FLASH – Galloped out for which a warning was issued.
PENCIL ME IN – Held up for clear running in the home straight and not fully tested.
AWAYSATTHEBEACH – Post-Race swab sample.
LINE ME UP BRO NZ – Inconvenienced after the start as a result of RIVERINA FLASH galloping out.
NIXSUN – Checked after the start as a result of RIVERINA FLASH galloping out.
THE DOME – Pre-race blood test. Checked after the start as a result of RIVERINA FLASH galloping out. Had a tendency to hang in at various stages of the event.
RACE 3 – AUSTRALIAN HOTEL PACE – 1720 metres
LA FEAST – Pre-race blood sample. Inconvenienced at the 250 metres when the filly had to be steadied around MISS TIGER and MAMMALS BLAZE to get into clear running.
PLAYING FOR KEEPS – Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 52 metres. Driver Taylah Osmond could offer no explanation in regard to the overall performance of the mare other than it was disappointing. A warning was placed on PLAYING FOR KEEPS in regard to its overall performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
JILLIBY SAFFRON – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 4 – SOUTHWEST SLOPES BANK PACE – 1720 metres
CATCH THE SHARK – Contacted marker pegs when disappointed for a run to the inside of CARMEN ON BLING and was held up for clear running and not fully tested.
DANCE BABY DANCE – Post-race swab sample.
IDEAL ANDY – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 5 – NSWSOA FIRST PAST THE POST BONUS PACE – 2100 metres
UNCLE JAY – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. An inquiry was opened into the driving tactics of Driver George Lee over the concluding stages, of particular concern to the Stewards was UNCLE JAY being held up for clear running in the home straight and not being fully tested when it appeared there may have been a run available for the gelding to the inside of the leader DORRISTOPAYTHEBILL. After taking a body of evidence from Mr Lee, Stewards adjourned the inquiry to a date to be fixed.
DORRISTOPAYTHEBILL – Hung out under pressure.
THANKS BE TO GOD – Pre-race blood sample. Hung in marginally under pressure placing SMOKIN POCKET in to restricted room. Post-race swab sample.
ROLL TO THE TOP – Driver Michael Day Jnr was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to have the mare come to its starting position.
SMOKIN POCKET – Inconvenienced from the 200 metres as a result of DORRISTOPAYTHEBILL shifting up the track and THANKS BE TO GOD hanging in.
RACE 6 – SOUTHWEST TRACTORS PACE – 1720 metres
NIKALONG MINT – Approaching the 50 metres when attempting to take a developing run between PADDY MACH and CHARGING BULL, PADDY MACH shifted up the track resulting NIKALONG MINT and PADDY MACH locking wheels.
CHARGING BULL – Had a tendency to race roughly rounding the final turn.
PADDY MACH – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Hung out under pressure and locked wheels with NIKALONG MINT, before shifting down the track placing ONE STUNNIN MELODY in to restricted room.
TULHURST PEBBLES – Post-race swab sample.
LOYOLA GOLF – Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
COMPLICATED – Pre-race blood sample.
ONE STUNNIN MELODY – Established a run on the marker line to the inside of PADDY MACH when that gelding hung out under pressure and locked wheels with CHARGING BULL, before shifting back down the track placing ONE STUNNIN MELODY into restricted room and as a result raced inside the line of one marker peg.
RACE 7 – TURNERS FURNITURE ONE PACE – 1720 metres
INGERMARLA – Obtained a run to the inside of JOSEY MINT. Post-race swab sample.
JOSEY MINT – Driver Peter Wood was fined $200 under Rule 162(1)(www)(iii) for shifting ground and advantaging another runner, in that rounding the final turn he has permitted his mare to shift wider on the track which advantaged INGERMARLA and MOST CERTAIN MICKY which both finished in advance of JOSEY MINT.
LUCKY ZARA – Pre-race blood sample. Had a tendency to hang in at various stages and also over raced through the middle stages.
RACE 8 – ARMA INSURANCE BROKERS PACE – 2100 metres
LAST FLITE – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.
JASPERSTIMETOSHINE – Raced three wide early before hanging in and breaking gait passing the 1700 metres. Continued to race roughly and break gait on at least two more occasions. In view of the manners of the gelding, JASPERSTIMETOSHINE will be required to perform one requalifying trial.
TAPANGA MISS – Post-race swab sample.
TWO MORE DIAMONDS NZ – Pre-race blood sample.
BOY STUNNER – A pre and post-race veterinary examination due to the horse not having started for in excess of 12 months.
RACE 9 – THE TAB APP PACE – 2100 metres
OLIVER SHARK – Post-race swab sample.
JAKRYAN – Pre-race blood sample. Checked approaching the 1900 metres as a result of SOLVE THE CRIME breaking gait.
SOLVE THE CRIME – Approaching the 1900 metres became unbalanced and broke gait for which a warning was issued.
BARKWAY THOMAS – Had a tendency to race greenly when racing on the marker line.
HEAVENS PLEASURE – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.
