RACE 1 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY MAIDEN PACE – 1609 metres.

LETS N JOY NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

GERRYS JEWEL – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations.

LORD JAYDO – Raced in restricted room rounding the home turn and in the early part of the home straight.

THE KARMA KING – Broke stride free of any external factors over the concluding stages and galloped across the finish line. Trainer/driver Mr M Chapple was advised that prior to racing again, THE KARMA KING must perform tractably in an official qualifying trial.

 

RACE 2 – LONGYARD HOTEL TAMWORTH PACE – 1980 metres

SLINGSHOT – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations.

CLASISC ARC – Pre-race blood sample. Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations. When questioned in relation to the performance driver A Varga explained, that despite racing in a prominent position in the early and middle stages, the gelding failed to travel at any stage and when placed under pressure inside the 600 metres was unresponsive, then ran to the finish moderately. 

SILENT REACTION – Pulled hard during the early and middle stages and would not settle.

RUM DELIGHT NZ – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations. Pulled hard during the early stages, when caught wide and being restrained to the rear of the field to obtain cover.

LONGNWINDINGROAD – Post-race swab sample.

MINI MINE YET NZ – When questioned in relation to the tactics adopted inside the 1000 metres driver C Griffiths explained, that approaching the winning post with a lap remaining he considered shifting to a three wide position to go forward, however as he had driven CLASSIC ARC which he was following previously he felt that that runner was capable of taking him further into the race allowing him to obtain cover and he elected to stay behind it. He said that shortly after passing the winning post CLASSIC ARC began to weaken and at this time LONGNWINDINGROAD had improved to his outside, which precluded him from shifting wider to go forward. He said that entering the back straight he was able to shift out and obtain a trail behind KEILOR BABY SHARK and at the entrance to the home straight he felt he was a strong winning chance, however MINI MINE YET NZ weakened on its finishing effort.

 

RACE 3 – RENEW YOUR CLUB MEMBERSHIP PACE – 1980 metres.

TERROR EYES NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

IAMNOPET – Broke stride free of any external factors shortly after the start and galloped for a short distance. Trainer/driver Mr T Ison was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record. Raced in restricted room over the concluding stages.

GOTONEBETTOR – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 4 – RADIO 88.9FM TAMWORTH PACE – 1980 metres

DRAKAINA – Pre-race blood sample. Hung out during the score up and then in the early stages until entering the home straight on the first occasion.

JOE BY THE SEASIDE NZ – Post-race swab sample.

CHLOBRO – Driver A Garaty had left the course without being cleared and will be interviewed in relation to the manner that he applied the whip inside the 400 metres.

 

RACE 5 – RACING & SPORTS ENHANCED RACE FORM PACE – 1980 metres

RESERVE BANK NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

OAKLEY SHARD NZ – When questioned in relation to the performance and his actions when driving during the section between the 1000 metres and the 500 metres, L Sutton explained that in his opinion OAKLEY SHARD NZ was not suited to racing outside the lead without cover then inside the 1000 metres the number four carrying strap became entangled with a fixture on the offside sulky shaft resulting in the mare becoming unbalanced and racing roughly.  He said that for some distance he endeavoured to free the carrying strap by reversing his whip and attempting to free the entangled strap with the whip handle, however he was unsuccessful, and OAKLEY SHARD NZ was continually unbalanced and disadvantaged in the run to the finish. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormality.

MY ULTIMATE HUGO – Hung out when placed under pressure inside the 100 metres and was difficult to drive. Trainer/driver Mr T Ison was told that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.

 

RACE 6 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1980 metres.

ULTIMATE DIVA – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 7 – NSWSOA FIRST PAST THE POST BONUS PACE – 1609 METRES

ITSOKAYNOTTOBEOKAY – Pulled very hard in the early and middle stages and could not be properly restrained, then weakened inside the 500 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding displayed a systolic heart murmur at grade four level and was mildly distressed. Trainer Mr G Shepherdson was advised that prior to racing again ITSOKAYNOTTOBEOKAY must undergo a veterinary examination, inclusive of an echo cardiogram, then perform tractably and competitively in an official qualifying trial.

DANCE WITH CARMER – Hung out under pressure over the concluding stages and placed its driver at a disadvantage. Post-race swab sample.

THOMAS ROYAL – Pre-race blood sample.

ELOUISA DALE NZ – Was crowded and inconvenienced momentarily passing the 400 metres when racing tight on the inside of ITSOKAYNOTTOBEOKAY, when that runner which was weakening, shifted in abruptly despite the efforts of its driver.

 

RACE 8 – PETERMAC ON-COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY PACE – 1980 metres

HE SAID SHE SAID – Pre-race blood sample. Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations.

RENROW LAD – Raced roughly for a short distance passing the 300 metres. Trainer/driver Mr D Mackney was advised that the provision of last chance to race truly would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.

ALLSOPP – Post-race swab sample.

BETTOR CHEER NZ – Broke stride free of any external factors shortly after the start and galloped for a short distance. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record. Held up for some distance inside the 300 metres and had to be shifted wider approaching the home turn.

MAJOR MICKEY – Failed to obtain clear running at any stage in the home straight and went to the finish without being tested.

 

RACE 9 – TAMWORTH EQUINE VET CENTRE PACE – 1980 metres

ESCALERA NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

RICK REILLY NZ – Fractious during the score up and difficult to drive. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.

RACING PAULA – Driver C McElhinney pleaded guilty to a charge under AR 156(2)(a), stating that when she applied the whip in the home straight, she did so in a manner that exceeded a wrist only flicking motion. C McElhinney was fined $200.

ROUGE BLING – Held up in the home straight and unable to be tested.

SAINT CRUSADER – Post-race swab sample.
