RACE 1 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1770 metres

 

MAJOR HUSS – Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.

EYEDIDNTLOSEIT – Pre-race swab sampled. Held up for clear running until near the 50 metres.

 

RACE 2 – AHRC AGM 15TH SEPTEMBER PACE – 1770 metres

 

KRISTYSGIRL – Inconvenienced approaching the 800 metres when the pace eased. Shifted-in near the 400 metres, tightening COMPLICATED, Driver J Hogan was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground in similar circumstances in future.

ROLL THE ACES – Hung-out under pressure in the home straight. Post-race swab sampled.

BLUES TERROR – Inconvenienced approaching the 800 metres when the pace eased.

CRIMSON ROCK NZ – Pre-race swab sampled.

OLLY ODD POTTS – Hung-in and contacted marker pegs leaving the 600 metres. Inconvenienced near the 100 metres when ROLL THE ACES shifted-out.

COMPLICATED – Inconvenienced approaching the 800 metres when the pace eased. Tightened and inconvenienced near the 400 metres, when KRISTYSGIRL shifted-in.

PINK SCOOTER – Pre-race swab sampled.

CALL ME DRAGON – Tired over the concluding stages of the race.

 

RACE 3 – SS&A ALBURY PACE – 1770 metres

 

SPRING DELIGHT – Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.

ALL SO SASSY – Held up for clear running in the early part of the home straight.

KEAYANG ALEX – Trainer M Towers was fined $50 under Rule 210 for not declaring a Driver for the gelding by the required time. Checked and broke gait entering the first turn when attempting a run to the inside of PENCIL ME IN when both runners were attempting to take the same run.

SHAKEN SANDS – Over-raced during the middle stages of the event.

PENCIL ME IN – Shifted-in entering the first turn when attempting to take a position on the marker pegs as KEAYANG ALEX was also attempting to take the same run, as a result KEAYANG ALEX was checked and broke gait. Tired over the concluding stages and beaten by a considerable margin. Driver J Locke was questioned regarding the performance, he stated he was disappointed with it and was at a loss to explain it. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Connections were advised the mare would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial.

 

RACE 4 – LAVINGTON DISCOUNT GROCERY PACE – 1770 metres

 

MOREARTSTHANCLASS – Pre-race swab sampled.

PADDY MACH – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it is 12 years old and it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared to start. Post-race swab sampled.

OUR ULTIMATE BONNY – Held up for clear running until near the 100 metres.

GLAMORS SYMBOL – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared to start.

LIFE GETS BETTER – Raced roughly for a short distance during the score up..

 

RACE 5 – NSWSOA FIRST PAST THE POST BONUS PACE – 2170 metres

 

ALWAYS EXCLUSIF – Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.

JILLIBY RYDER – Held up for clear running until near the 100 metres.

BETTES BLUE VIOLET – Pre-race swab sampled.

PIRANI PRINCESS – Held up for clear running until near the 100 metres.

CHANGEOVER GIRL – Inconvenienced rounding the first turn when GO COLOUR MY WORLD NZ broke gait.

DOLLAR BROWNIE – Over-raced during the middle stages of the event. Driver J Locke was queried regarding the below market expectations performance of the filly, he stated that it over-raced after settling on the marker pegs in the early stages which he felt was the position to go to as felt he was following the right runners in the event. He added it over-racing he felt effected its run particularly being over the longer distance of tonight’s race.

GO COLOUR MY WORLD NZ – Out of position at the start, for which a warning was issued. Broke gait free of interference rounding the first turn and again near the 1400 metres, connections were advised that it would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

SNEAK A PEEK NZ – Inconvenienced rounding the first turn when GO COLOUR MY WORLD NZ broke gait.

 

RACE 6 – COROWA CHAFF PACE – 1770 metres

 

MISTER RAUDONIKIS – Hung-out under pressure in the home straight, for which a warning was issued. Driver B Hogan was fined the sum of $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) for using his whip with an action that was more than a wrist only flicking motion in the home straight.

MACHX THE STRANGER – Broke gait during the score-up and a false start was declared when Driver J Locke raised his hand. Hung-out and broke gait after the start at the second attempt to start the race, given the filly’s record connections were advised that she would be placed outside the draw for future mobile start races. J Locke was questioned regarding him raising his hand to indicate he had an issue during the first score-up, he stated he felt that JUNGLE SHARK had shifted-out checking his runner resulting in it breaking gait, as the film was inconclusive to whether his runner had been checked or not, no action was taken.

TWO MORE DIAMONDS NZ – Pre-race swab sampled.  Inconvenienced after the start when MACHX THE STRANGER broke gait. Checked near the 200 metres when MILLYANO broke gait.

SKINNY HORACE – Over-raced during the middle stages of the event.

FIANO – Inconvenienced near the 200 metres when MILLYANO broke gait.

SHEZALEGACY – Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.

MILLYANO – Checked after the start when MACHX THE STRANGER broke gait. Broke gait free of interference near the 200 metres, for which a warning was issued. Placed back in the draw for future mobile start races.

 

RACE 7 – REMEMBER DERBY CHIMES PACE – 1770 metres

 

HEAVENS PLEASURE – Held up for clear running until near the 100 metres.

HUNGRYFORLOVE – Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.

 

RACE 8 – DTD ENGINEERING PACE – 1770 metres

 

ARKLOW – Raced roughly rounding the turn approaching the 200 metres.

MALAVA MISS – Pre-race swab sampled. Driver J Painting was queried in relation to the seemingly improved performance of the mare; he stated that it was having its first start for the stable and they had indicated to him prior to the start that they had been pleased with the way it had been working and were confident of a forward showing in this field. He added he was able to get away with setting moderate early sectional times while leading which was advantageous to his runner. Post-race swab sampled.

ONE HORN BILLY – Driver B Micallef was queried regarding the below market expectations performance of the gelding, he stated that he attempted to find a position with cover midfield from the wide draw in the early stages of the event, however, was unable to do so and had to restrain to the rear of the field. He added with the way the race was run it did not suit the backmarkers, and he was not too disappointed with its run.

YOO TRISH – Placed back in the draw for future mobile start races.
