RACE 1 – LATHER UP STANDING @ WOODLANDS STUD WARATAH HEAT – 1730 metres
THE RINGMASTER – Pre-race swab. Slow out.
BURRABADINE BULLET – Post-race swab.
JILLIBY SAFFRON – Held up rounding the final turn prior obtaining clear running.
THE DOME – Inconvenienced shortly after the start was effected when THE RINGMASTER which it was trailing behind was slow to begin.
RACE 2 – THE KING- BETTORS DELIGHT - $600 MILLION IN EARNING PACE – 1730 metres
ALWAYSBMINNIE – ($4.00) Driver Travis Bullock was queried into the overall performance of the mare which finished in 10th and last position beaten 15.7m after racing in a favourable running line position. Mr Bullock advised the mare to be disappointing and could offer no tangible explanation for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be 2/5 lame in the off foreleg. ALWAYSBMINNIE will now be stood down from racing pending a veterinary clearance.

TEDDY FEELS GOOD – Pre-race swab
SCARLETT MAY NZ – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after completing its preliminary at the request of its driver & was passed fit to start.
SKITTLE BOMB NZ – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the gelding to have blood present in the near side nostril. In Accordance with AHR Rule 101B(2) SKITTLE BOMB NZ will now be stood down from racing until trailing to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion. Post-race swab.
MISTERFOURTHOUSAND – Pulled hard during the score up.
RACE 3 – SPEEDING SPUR STANDING AT WOODLANDS STUD PACE – 1730 metres
SPEED DIAL – ($14.00) Gave ground from the 400m to finish in 9th and last position beaten 35.8m after leading. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the mare to be 2/5 lame in the near foreleg. SPEED DIAL will now be stood down from racing pending a veterinary clearance.
OUR GEORGE BOSTON – Post-race swab.
NOSAER – Held up and failed to gain clear running for the entire length of the home straight.
REBOUNDER – Pre-race swab
RACE 4– SWEET LOU BOOK FULL 2025-26 PACE – 1730 metres
DUFFY HOLLOW NZ – Pulled hard during the middle stages of the event. Checked and taken back through the field passing the 600m when TITIWHA commence to yield ground quickly.
TREACHEROUS BELLE – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.
FLYING COLOURS – Driver Matthew Atkinson was reminded of his obligations when applying the whip to the gelding inside the final 200m.
TITIWHA – Yielded ground rapidly from the 600m checking DUFFY HOLLOW NZ which was trailing prior to finishing in 10th and last position beaten 34.6m. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
MIA ON – Held up over the latter stages of the event.
RACE 5 – WOODLANDS STUD – YOUR GENETIC EDGE PACE – 1730 metres
HES CHIMING – Post-race swab. Claimed by Matthew Field of Wagga Wagga.
KAIRAKI DELIGHT NZ – Post-race swab.
BAXTER RED – Broke gait shortly after the start was effected. BAXTER RED will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start events.

RACE 6 – DOWNBYTHESEASIDE LEADING SIRE OF 2YO WINNERS IN 2025 2YO PACE – 1730 metres
General: The start of this event was aborted during the early stages of the score up at the first attempt when the lugging pole on YA RACIN CARL became detached.
SWEET NICKY – Pre-race swab.
GLINDA SHANNON – Raced roughly shortly after the start was effected. GLINDA SHANNON will now be placed on its last chance in the draw. Hung inwards at various stages of the event in particular over the final 100m. GLINDA SHANNON will now be placed on its last chance to race truly. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
CALIFORNIAPRINCESS – Post-race swab.
YA RACIN CARL – Gear malfunction when scoring up at the first attempt when the lugging pole became detached resulting in the start being aborted.
SMOOTH JESSIE – Raced roughly passing the 300m. A warning was issued against the filly’s racing manners.
RACE 7 – WOODLANDS STUD SUPPORTING THE AUSTRALIAN HARNESS INDUSTRY PACE – 1730 metres
KRISTA BELLITA – Held up during the early stages rounding the final turn prior to obtaining clear running.
JEWEL HEAVEN – Declared a late scratching at 6:45pm on veterinary advice. JEWEL HEAVEN will now be stood down from racing for a period of ten (10) days after receiving precautionary treatment on course & a veterinary clearance.
THE SAMURAI – Hung inwards under pressure inside the final 150m.
WAZOWSKI – ($7.50) Trainer/driver Brad Hewitt was queried into the overall performance of the filly which finished in 7th position beaten 21m after racing outside the leader from the 1100m. Mr Hewitt attributed the performance to the filly being caught racing three (3) wide for a longer distance then anticipated prior to obtaining position outside the leader at the 1100m where the filly commence to over race & failed to settle which were the contributing factors to the filly’s overall finishing position.
MAJOR ARK – Broke gait during the early stages of the score up & was significant out of position when the start was effected. Galloped excessively and took competitive part in the event and was subsequently retired from the event. MAJOR ARK will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start events and stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.

RACE 8 – WOODLANDS STUD SHUTTLING THE WORLD’S BEST SIRES PACE – 1730 metres
General: Stewards delayed the All Clear at the request of driver Ms Phoebe Betts (UNCLE TONY) which was placed 2nd in the event to view the available replays over the final 500m. After viewing the replays Ms Betts declined to take the matter any further and the All Clear was given on the judge’s placings.
ZACHARY SHANNON – Post-race swab.
UNCLE TONY – Pre-race swab. Driver Phoebe Betts pleaded guilty to a charge under AHR Rule 156(2)(a) the particulars of the charge being inside the final 300m Ms Betts applied the whip to the gelding on multiple occasions with more than a wrist flicking action & with overt force. In assessing penalty Stewards considered the HRNSW Penalty Guidelines, placing weight on Ms Betts guilty plea & that this was Ms Betts third offence under this rule within the sixty (60) day or drive period. Ms Betts was fined the sum of $400 & was suspended for a period of seven (7) days commencing midnight 27th August 2025.
TEARIN UP THE SAND – Broke gait under pressure inside the final 150m. A warning was issued against the racing manners of TEARIN UP THE SAND.
