RACE 1 – C & S STOCKFEEDS PACE – 1660 metres

TENEACHWAY – Pre-race blood test. 

WHATABOUTBRONSON- Post-race swab.

PEAKSART – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

CAPITALLEE – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

JILLIBY TSUNAMI – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

 

RACE 2 – RICE PROPERTY & LIVESTOCK PACE – 1660 metres

TULHURST PEBBLES – Post-race swab.

OUR DICKIE BART – Driver Blake Medlyn was questioned in regards to the overall performance of the gelding after giving ground to be beaten 36.5 metres. Mr Medlyn stated that OUR DICKIE BART over raced throughout the event and felt that contributed to the overall performance.

THE ACCIDENTAL ONE – Driver Jye Coney was questioned in regards to the overall performance of the mare after giving ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 41.8 metres.  Mr Coney stated that he was forced to race wide early and work harder than expected in the early stages of the event before finding the position outside the leader and felt this contributed to the overall performance.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

KARINYA MAX – Approaching the 850 metres hung in and contacted marker pegs.

MAJOR ARK – Pre-race blood test.  At the request of connections was re-included into the mobile barrier draw. 

 

RACE 3 – WORKLOCKER PARKES PACE – 2040 metres

KRISTA BELITA – Raced rough in the score up.  Post-race swab.

BURRABADINE STORM – Pre-race blood test.

CALM REASON – Became unbalanced and broke gait passing the 1400 metres.  In view of the gelding’s recent record CALM REASON will be required to perform one requalifying trial.

JESSIE LEE – Passing the 1400 metres was checked as a result of CALM REASON breaking gait.

HILLVIEW SAM – Driver Greg Cattell was issued a reprimand under rule 168(1)(a) for careless driving in that, approaching the 400 metres he has placed his runner into restricted room.

MAMMALS BLAZE – Driver Jye Coney was questioned regarding the overall performance of the gelding after giving ground to be beaten 43.7 metres.  Mr Coney felt that the pace of the event had eased and he elected to move three wide to obtain a position outside the leader, however once he progressed and improved three wide the pace of the event increased and he had to work harder than expected to find the position outside the leader.

 

RACE 4 – TELESCOPE/HANKOOK TYRES PACE – 2040 metres

MULLUM AXEL – Pre-race blood test.  Post-race swab.

R K FINN NZ – Approaching the 500 metres became unbalanced and broke gait for which a warning was issued.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

MARVELLA – Checked and raced roughly as a result of R K FINN NZ breaking gait.

CAMANCHI WARRIOR – Approaching the 500 metres was checked as a result of R K FINN NZ breaking gait.

 

RACE 5 – QUICKSHINE CARWASH PACE – 1660 metres

HOLME BOY – Pre-race blood test.  Driver Nathan Townsend pleaded guilty to a charge under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that, approaching the 400 metres he had shifted wider on the track affording a run to the inside for RIVERINA FLASH before steering back down the track causing RIVERINA FLASH to be checked and ease out of its rightful run.  Driver Nathan Townsend had his licence to drive in races suspended for a period of 10 days to commence midnight 14 September 2025.  In assessing penalty Stewards considered Mr Townsend’s plea, record in relation to the rule and the circumstances of this incident.  Driver Nathan Townsend further pleaded guilty to a charge under rule 163(2) for not restraining his gelding when racing inside the line of marker pegs in that, approaching the 200 metres HOLME BOY had shifted inside of the line of marker pegs at which stage Mr Townsend continued to drive the horse forward with the whip.  Mr Townsend had his licence to drive in races suspended for a period of seven days to commence at midnight 24 September 2025 at the time his previous 10 day suspension would cease.  In assessing penalty Stewards considered Mr Townsend’s plea, record in relation to the rule and the circumstances of the incident.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

RIVERINA FLASH – Checked passing the 400 metres when attempting to improve to the inside of HOLME BOY when that gelding shifted back down the track.  Inconvenienced between the 400 and 200 metres when being held up for clear running.

SCRUFFY MOTO – Raced roughly passing the 500 metres.

WILLIES DOLLAR – Post-race swab.

 

RACE 6 – DWYERS CONTRACTING PACE – 1660 metres

CARIBBEAN PAT – Post-race swab.

DEAD EYE TIKI – Driver Andrew Ward was questioned in regards to the driving tactics adopted on the gelding after racing in a three wide position for approximately the first lap of the event.  Mr Ward stated that after beginning fairly he felt the position outside the leader was available and elected to urge the gelding forward.  He did get three quarters of a length in front of the horse outside the leader around the 850 metres before he realised that position was unavailable.  Approaching the 800 metres he commenced to restrain to the rear of the field at which point DEAD EYE TIKI raced roughly and from that point on commenced to tire out of the event to be beaten 116.2 metres.  Mr Ward was overall disappointed in the performance of DEAD EYE TIKI.  In view of the overall performance of the gelding DEAD EYE TIKI was stood down pending one requalifying trial.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

CRYSTAL BLING – Pre-race blood test. 

SPRINGFIELD DESIRE – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

 

RACE 7 – KENNARDS HIRE PARKES PACE – 1660 metres

HAPPY TULHURST – Pre-race blood test.  Hung out first turn and inconvenienced CAM I AM.

MONSTER MINT – Passing the 500 metres was checked as a result of CAM I AM being checked by SERGEANT PEE JAY.

SERGEANT PEE JAY – Hung in after the start and continued to hang in throughout the event.  Approaching the 500 metres hung in and checked CAM I AM.  In view of the overall record of SERGEANT PEE JAY the gelding will be required to perform one requalifying trial.  Upon entry to the home straight engaged in a jostle with FIRST FOUR LETTERS when that runner was shifting out to obtain clear running.

CAM I AM – Inconvenienced on the first turn as a result of HAPPY TULHURST hanging out.  Passing the 500 metres was checked as a result of SERGEANT PEE JAY hanging in.  Checked passing the 200 metres as a result of PAD THAI commencing to give ground.

EYES FOR DOLLARS – Raced roughly passing the 1450 metres when being restrained. 

KAELEIGHS COMET – Inconvenienced passing the 500 metres as a result of CAM I AM being checked.

FIRST FOUR LETTERS – Approaching the home turn was shifted out and engaged in a jostle with SERGEANT PEE JAY.  Post-race swab.

 

RACE 8 – TAB.COM.AU 2YO PACE – 1660 metres

PIRANI PERFECT – Pre-race blood test.  Post-race swab.

SAMUI – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

LIMERYCK LANE – Broke after the start for which a warning was issued.

MOREFUNTOCOME – Hung in after the start.

SAINT GUTHO – Raced roughly passing the 500 metres.  hung in rounding the final turn and contacted marker pegs.  Held up for clear running in the home straight before becoming unbalanced and breaking gait passing the 100 metres.  In view of the gelding’s recent record SAINT GUTHO will be required to perform two requalifying trials and stood down for a period of 14 days.

THE NEEDY QUEEN – Passing the 1300 metres became unbalanced and broke gait and will be required to perform one requalifying trial.

ROSIES DRAGON – Hung in passing the 1400 metres.

MAMMALS JEWEL – Checked after the start as a result of LIMERYCK LANE breaking gait.

WOKKA ROCK – Inconvenienced passing the 1400 metres as a result of ROSIES DRAGON hanging in.

 

RACE 9 – BREED YOUR MARE AT SUCCESS STUD 3YO PACE – 1660 metres

DENVER COLORADO – Pre-race blood test.  Post-race swab.

DEAR DARLING – Driver Mitch Turnbull pleaded guilty to a charge under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that, approaching the 200 metres he has permitted his filly to shift wider on the track when not clear of LAST FLITE causing that filly to be checked and breaking  gait.  Driver Mitch Turnbull had his licence to drive in races suspended for a period of 10 days to commence midnight 5 September 2025.  In assessing penalty Stewards considered Mr Turnbull’s plea, record in relation to the rule and the circumstances of the incident.

YA RACIN BELLA – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start for which a warning was issued.  Checked and broke on the final turn as a result of LAST FLITE being checked and breaking gait.

TEDDY ZING – Became unbalanced and broke gait passing the 1350 metres for which a warning was issued. 

LAST FLITE – Checked and broke as a result of DEAR DARLING shifting wider on the track approaching the 200 metres.

MONDOS REASON – Approaching the 200 metres was checked and broke as a result of LAST FLITE being checked and breaking gait.

SAM THE MAN – Approaching the 1350 metres was checked and broke gait as a result of TEDDY ZING breaking gait.
