RACE 1 – GUILFORD TRANSPORT PACE– 1758 metres
General: The start was aborted at the first attempt when ARKLOW was fractious in the pre-race circle & failed to face the starter when directed.
A false start was declared at the second attempt when NOOSA BOY broke gait during the early stages of the score up and was unable to fulfill its allocated barrier position on the front row due to runners on the second row unable to be restrained.
LITTLE COOL – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.
NOOSA BOY – Broke gait during the middle stages of the score up at the second attempt and was unable to fulfill it allocated barrier position resulting in a false start being declared. A warning was issued against the barrier manners of NOOSA BOY. Yielded ground rapidly from the 700m to finish in 10th and last position beaten 172.8m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from both nostrils for a second time in accordance with AHR Rule 101(3)(b) will now be stood down from racing for life.
OURMATE GEEJAY – Yielded ground rapidly from the 700m to finish in 9th position beaten 150.4m. A post -race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. OURMATE GEEJAY will now be stood down from racing until trailing to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.
GLAMOURS SYMBOL– Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the mare having started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities. Driver Peter McRae was queried into the seemingly poor performance of the mare which finished in 8th position beaten 51.9m after racing in favourable one-one position for majority of the event. Mr McRae advised the mare to be disappointing & attributed the performance to the overall quick mile rate of 1.57.4. A warning was issued against the racing competitiveness of GLAMOURS SYMBOL.
HEZ ON THE BUZZER NZ – Driver James Locke was issued a reprimand for shifting ground passing the 500m which inconvenienced NAPOLI NIGHTS on two occasions.
NAPOLI NIGHTS – Inconvenienced passing the 500m when HEZ ON THE BUZZER NZ shifted outwards.
ARKLOW – Fractious prior to the start and refused to face the correct way when directed by the starter Driver Roger Strong advised the burr rein became entangled with the sulky shaft resulting in the mare failing to respond to his urgings. A warning was issued against the barrier manners of ARKLOW.
RACE 2– LANHAMS MOTOR GROUP PACE – 2147 metres
CARMEN ON BLING – Inconvenienced passing the 400m when NIXSUN commenced to give ground.
MODERN SHEEN – Pulled hard throughout the event. Inconvenienced passing the 400m when NIXSUN commenced to give ground. Driver James Locke was fined the sum of $200 under AHR Rule 156(2)(a) for applying the whip with more than a wrist flicking motion and overt force inside the final 200m.
SLIPALONG SAINT – Post-race swab.
SASSINESS – Pre-race swab. Pulled hard throughout the event. Back in the mobile draw.
RACE 3 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1758 metres
SOUNDS TREACHEROUS – Driver Nic Horan was advised of his obligations when applying the whip inside the final 100m.
QUICKSHIFT GIRL – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.
ORAMA – Driver Blake Micallef was advised of his obligations when applying the whip inside the final 100m.
RACE 4– WORKLOCKER PACE – 1758 metres
ALL SO SASSY – Post-race swab.
FLEXI BET – ($11.00) Driver Blake Micallef was queried into the overall performance of the mare which finished in 8th position beaten 28.7m after racing outside the leader throughout. Mr Micallef advised the mare was only having its second start for the stable and may not have handled racing without cover and it would be the stables intention to drive the mare more conservatively going forward circumstances permitting.
LOGAN REASON – Pre-race swab.
PADDY MACH – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having attained the age of 12 years or older & started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.
RACE 5 – LEETON HOTEL ACE – 1758 metres
MURPHYS REWARD NZ – Broke gait during the early stages and was significantly out of position when the start was effected. A warning was issued against the barrier manners of MURPHYS REWARD NZ. Took no competitive part in the event. No claims were lodged.
SWEDISH MEATBALLS – ($2.50 Fav) Pre-race swab. Trainer Darrell Hillier was queried into the seemingly improved performance of the mare compared to its most recent starts. Mr Hillier advised SWEDISH MEATBALLS was having its first start for his stable as the mare had been competing at stronger venues when racing at Penrith & Menangle for its pervious trainer as the mare had been working well & had won a trial at Leeton on the 25thAugust in quick mile rate of 1.58.3. Mr Hillier added the mare was also benefited when able to lead & record a steady first half of 61.4 seconds. Post-race swab.

RACE 6 – LANHAMS JEWELLERS PACE – 1758 metres
LIFE GETS BETTER – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.
BILLIEES JET – Hung outwards shortly after the start was effected inconveniencing YOO TRISH. Hung outwards for majority of the event despite the driver’s efforts inconveniencing YOO TRISH. BILLIEES JET will now be placed in its last chance to race truly.
YOO TRISH – Inconvenienced shortly after the start when BILLIEES JET hung outwards. Inconvenienced at various stages of the event when BILLIEES JET hung outwards.
RACE 7 – SULLY’S PAINTING PACE – 1758 metres
OUR GIRL ECHO – Pre-race swab. Hung outwards after the start was effected tightening the racing room of SHOULDBETWOBYTWO.
SHOULDBETWOBYTWO – Tighten shortly after the start was effected when OUR GIRL ECHO hung outwards causing the filly to race roughly after start was effected. Raced fiercely for majority of the event despite the driver’s efforts prior to yielding ground rapidly from the 500m to finish in 8th position beaten 138.3m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have a delayed recovery. SHOULDBETWOBYTWO will now be stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.
KOBES CHAINSAW – Post-race swab.
ITZ BAD – Broke gait shortly after the start was effected. ITZ BAD will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start events. Broke its crupper entering the first turn and was eased out the event. The gear was inspected by stewards and found to be of sound quality.
BOY STUNNER – Back in the mobile draw.
RACE 8 – COROWA CHAFF MILL PACE – 1758 metres
ROMEGHAN – Tightened entering the first turn when HEAVENS PLEASURE was directed down the track.
KRISSY – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.
HEAVENS PLEASURE – Driver James Locke was issued a reprimand for tightening the racing room of ROMEGHAN entering the first turn. Mr Locke was issued a further reprimand for lack of control when allowing the fill to shift up the track around the final turn and over the final 150m.
AVA DALE NZ – Declared a late scratching at 9:05am on veterinary advice.
CARLISLE WAY – Raced roughly at various stages of the event.
RACE 9 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP PACE – 1758 metres
MAJOR TRANSPARENCY – Fractious prior to the start. Hung outwards after the start was effected.
SEVENTH IMMORTAL – Checked and raced roughly shortly after the start was effected when MAJOR TRANSPARENCY hung outwards.
MISTER RAUDONIKIS – Post-race swab.
BAYRIDGE TOMMY – Yielded ground from the 400m to finish in 8th position beaten 52.7m. A warning was issued against the gelding racing competitiveness.
GINGANING – Yielded ground from the 400m to finish in 9th position beaten 69.3m. GINGANING will now be stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.
