RACE 1 – BATHURST TOYOTA PACE – 1730 metres

REBOUNDER – Pre-race swab.

BETTOR KEPPEL – Pre-race swab.

RACE 2 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS HEAT – ROUND 1 1730 metres

General: A false start was declared at the first attempt due to a mobile barrier error.

JUNGLE DRAGON – Post-race swab.

SWEET ON LEXY – Pre-race swab

BAM BAM BROOK – Out of position at the second attempt Stewards refrained taking any action against the gelding due to the false start at the first attempt.

RACE 3 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 1 – 1730 metres

AUNTIE LOU – Pre-race swab.

TENACIOUSLY – Post-race swab.

BABY YOURE THE ONE – Locked wheels during the early stages of the score with DOLLY ROCKET.

DOLLY ROCKET – Locked wheels during the early stages of the score with BABY YOURE THE ONE.

SHE THE DEVIL – Driver Jye Coney was spoken to in regards in scoring up in the incorrect barrier position.

A TRUE LOVE – ($16.00) Driver Mat Rue was queried into the overall performance of the filly which finished in 9th and last position beaten 32m. Mr Rue advised the filly was caught racing three (3) wide for an extended distance prior to obtaining the position outside the leading approaching the 900m which was the main factor to its performance. Trainer Trent Rue advised A TRUE LOVE had come to end of its preparation and would now be spelled. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

RACE 4– NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 1 – 1730 metres

TRUE LOGIC – Hung inwards under pressure approaching the 100m and contacted a marker peg.

SMIRKIN SERENE – Post-race swab.

TREACHEROUS BELLE – Fractious during the early stages of the score up.

OUR DANCE MONKEY – Pre-race swab. Trainer/driver Amanda Turnbull was queried into the overall performance of the filly which finished in 10th and last position beaten 27.7m after racing outside the leader from the 1000m. Ms Turnbull attribute the performance to the filly pulling hard during the middle stages of the event which was the main contributing factors to its performance.  A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

RACE 5 – VALE JAN KELLY – 1730 metres

FORCE FULL – Post-race swab.

HEZ DUSTY – Pre-race swab.

BAXTER RED($5.00) Pre-race swab. Trainer/driver Mat Rue was queried into the overall performance of the gelding which finished in 10th and last position beaten 33.5m. Mr Rue attributed the performance to the gelding enduring more work than expected to obtain the position outside the leader approaching the 900m in a quick first half of 57.1 seconds. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be 2/5 lame in the near foreleg BAXTER RED will now be stood down from racing pending a veterinary clearance.

RACE 6 – NSW STANDARDBREDS OWNERS ASSOCIATION FIRST PAST THE POST – 1730 metres

SUNSET STRIDE – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.

TERRYRAMA – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities. Held up and failed to gain clear running for the entire length of the home straight.

TREACHEROUS JET – Raced roughly under pressure rounding the final turn & in the home straight. TREACHEROUS JET will now be placed on its last chance to race truly.

KRISTA BELLITA – Held up over the latter stages of the event.

RACE 7 – BLUEPRINT SIGNS PACE – 2260 metres

LETTUCE GO MIKI – ($7.50) Trainer/driver Mat Rue was queried into the overall performance of the gelding which finished in 5th position beaten 6m after trailing the leader throughout prior to obtaining a run along the marker line when the leader WILLIAMS hung outwards passing the 500m. Mr Rue advised LETTUCE GO MIKI hung outwards when obtaining the run passing the 500m as the gelding did not feel fluent in its action due to its racing manners which he was reluctant to drive the gelding forward with too much aggression as LETTUCE GO MIKI has a history of breaking gait combined the gelding was racing stronger opposition compared to recent starts.

WILLIAMS – Pre-race swab. Raced greenly throughout the event whilst leading. Hung outwards despite the driver’s efforts passing the 500m & continue to shift outwards under pressure over the final 200m. WILLIAMS will now be placed on its last chance to race truly.

SPECIAL SPIN – Post-race swab.

JANIE BLU – Fractious leaving the pre-race circle and during the early stages of the score up out of position at the candy pole. JANIE BLU will continue to be drawn wide in future mobile start events. Inconvenienced passing the 500m when WILLIAMS hung outwards.

RACE 8 – BCIT SOLUTIONS 2YO PACE – 1730 metres

ONLY ONE REASON – Trainer Phoebe Betts was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 268A(1) for presenting the colt wearing gear which was incorrectly declared.

BETTORLEFTALONE – Pre-race swab. Trainer Jason Grimson was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 268A(1) for presenting the colt wearing gear which was incorrectly declared. Post-race swab.

SMOOTH JESSIE – Trainer Steve Turnbull was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 210 for the late declaration of Isobel Ross as the driver of the filly.

LEWIE KELLY – ($9.00) Driver Ashleigh Delosa was queried into the overall performance of the gelding which finished in 7th position beaten 33.5m after racing outside the leader throughout the event. Ms Delosa advised the gelding hung inwards under pressure passing the 300m and provided to be disappointing over the concluding stages & was not suited to racing without cover and it would be the stables intentions to drive the gelding more conservatively going forward. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

WOKKA ROCK – ($41.00) Yielded ground rapidly from the 500m to finish in 9th and last position beaten 87.3m. Trainer Steve Turnbull advised WOKKA ROCK will now be spelled. WOKKA ROCK will now be stood down from racing until trialing to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

RACE 9 – BREED YOUR MARE AT SUCCESS STUD 2YO PACE – 1730 metres

SAINT GUTHO – Slow out. Held up during the early stages of the home straight prior to obtaining clear running.

SAMUI – Hung inwards after the start and entering the first turn despite the driver’s efforts. A warning was issued against the filly manners.

THE NEEDY QUEEN – Trainer Monica Betts was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 268A(1) for presenting the filly wearing gear which was incorrectly declared. Pulled hard during the middle stages of the event.

GLINDA SHANNON – Driver Travis Bullock was issued a reprimand under AHR Rule 163(1)(c)(i) for allowing the filly to shift inside the line of one (1) marker peg prior to utilising the sprint lane.

RUMOUR STRIDE– ($3.10 Fav) Pre-race swab. Trainer/driver Rickie Alchin was queried into the overall performance of the filly which finished in 6th position beaten 7.1m after leading. Mr Alchin advised the filly to disappointing and attributed the performance to the filly was not suited to leading at this stage of it career as RUMOUR STRIDE raced inconsistent  and  hung inwards under pressure and it would the stables intentions to drive the filly  more conservatively going forward at this stage of it career.

RACE 10 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1730 metres

BOHEMIAN FLY BY – Hung outwards as the start was effected inconveniencing BRADNESS MOO which was trailing. BOHEMIAN FLY BY will now be placed on its last chance in the draw. Inconvenienced shortly after the start when UNE VOIX MAJEUR broke gait and shifted down the track. Hung outwards & raced roughly passing the 800m BOHEMIAN FLY BY will now be placed on its last chance to race truly.

UNE VOIX MAJEUR – Pre-race swab. Broke gait shortly after the start was effected. UNE VOIX MAJEUR will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start events. Raced roughly under pressure over the final 200m. UNE VOIX MAJEUR will now be placed on its last chance to race truly.

MAKES YOU WONDER – Hung inwards & outwards at various stages of the event. Post-race swab.

BETTINGONYA – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having not started in the preceding 12 months. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities. 

BRADNESS MOO – Inconvenienced as the start was effected when BOHEMIAN FLY BY hung outwards.
