RACE 1 – RAGING BULL NZ @ SOUTH WEST SLOPES COOTAMUNDRA PACE – 1740 metres
MISTER CRUNCH – Pre-race blood sample.
ISLAND MANDALAY – Pre-race blood sample. Became unbalanced and broke gait approaching the 1400 metres and will now be required to perform one requalifying trial.
SHOULDBETWOBYTWO – Hung in rounding the final turn.
HITCH TO HIS STAR – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 2 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 1 – 1740 metres
ART SPACE – Pre-race blood sample.
PERSONIFIED – Stewards questioned Trainer/Driver Graham Looby over the performance of PERSONIFIED where after leading the filly failed to run on to finish in 7th placing beaten 19.6 metres. Mr Looby explained he felt the filly worked harder than expected to find the lead which may have contributed to the disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

RACE 3 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS HEAT – ROUND 1 – 1740 metres
SANCHEZ – Pre-race blood sample.

RACE 4 – FARELLA & SONS PLUMBING PACE – 1740 metres
MAGINOT LINE – Approaching the 1100 metres had its sulky contacted by FOURTH RESPONSE when the pace in the event eased. Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.
SIGNIFICANT LAZ – Pre-race blood sample. Inconvenienced approaching the 1100 metres when FOURTH RESPONSE raced roughly. Post-race swab sample.
OUR ROCKY – Over raced throughout the event. Inconvenienced approaching the 1100 metres when FOURTH RESPONSE raced roughly.
FOURTH RESPONSE – Approaching the 1100 metres contacted the sulky of MAGINOT LINE and raced roughly as a result of the pace in the event easing.
RACE 5 – WELCOME TO THE WORD SOPHIE ELIZABETH DRUITT PACE – 1740 metres
SCOTTIE MACH – Pre-race blood sample.
THE BANKER NZ – Broke during the score up on the first occasion and caused a false start for which a warning was issued. Driver Mikayla Towers was questioned regarding the overall performance of the gelding which after racing outside the leader commenced to give ground passing the 400 metres to be beaten 22 metres. Ms Towers explained that after the false start the horse became fractious and over raced throughout which contributed to the overall performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.

KHULAN KID – Shifted out under pressure in the home straight. Trainer Mr Dean Atkinson was questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance of the horse. Mr Atkinson explained KHULAN KID was having its 4th start for the stable and been happy with its performances, however the horse has shown at previous starts when racing in Queensland that it races better when in front. Post-race swab sample.
RACE 6 – WARRAWEE NEEDY @ YIRRIBEE STUD PACE – 1740 metres
WHERES THE GOLD NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample. Claimed.
BUBBY TO BASE – At the request of connections, the mare will now be reincluded into the mobile barrier draw.
RACE 7 – PREMIUM PUNTER PACE – 1740 metres
JACKS ULTIMATE FURY NZ – Post-race swab sample.
SHEZ THE REASON – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 8 – TAB VENUE MODE WARATAH HEAT – 1740 metres
DONNIE MAC – Pre-race blood sample.
OHOKA NICO NZ – Broke during the score up for which a warning was issued. Post-race swab sample.
