RACE 1 – TOOHEYS PACE – 2030 metres

SOHO PARK AVENUE – Pre-race sample was taken.  Post-race sample was taken.

YESNOMAYBESO – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

 

RACE 2 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 1 – 1609 metes

UPSTREAM – Pre-race sample was taken.  Had a tendency to hang out shortly after the start was affected and continued to hang out for the majority of the event.

PEACE OUT – Post-race sample was taken.

ROCK AM ALYESKA – Hung in rounding the final turn and contacted marker pegs.

ELLIE RIPPIN – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

 

RACE 3 – TRUCK AND FEET MAINTENANCE PACE – 1609 metres

BOLERO – Post-race sample was taken.

HEZA PLAYER NZ – Had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages of the event.

LUKE JOHN NZ – Pre-race sample was taken.  Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

 

RACE 4 – AD,Z TOWING PACE – 1609 metres

WAMBOYNEINAMERICA – Post-race sample was taken.

GIVE ME A MINUTE NZ – Driver J Gallagher was fined the sum of $200 under rule 156(2)(a) in that when applying the whip over the concluding stages did so in a manner which engaged the shoulder.

APPLIED NZ – Pre-race sample was taken. 

 

RACE 5 – TRUCK AND FLEET MAINTENANCE WARATAH HEAT – 1609 metres

NEXT TO ME NZ – Pre-race sample was taken. 

MISTER POVERTY – Pre-race sample was taken.  Post-race sample was taken.

ROCKNROLL CLARRY – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

SPIRIT KING – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

LONGNWINDINGROAD – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

 

RACE 6 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS HEAT – ROUND 1 – 1609 metes

PETES CRUNCH TIME – It was observed upon review that it slipped the head check bit shortly after the start was affected and raced roughly for a short distance.  Had a tendency to over race throughout the early and middle stages of the event.

MIGHT AND VICTORY – Pre-race sample was taken.  Fractious in the early stages of the score up.  A warning was issued.

RIVERA LOU – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance.  Driver C Hart reported to Stewards that it was left racing outside of the leader in the early stages of the event and was considerably up in grade in the event and given the times recorded was not overly disappointed in the run.

WALTER WARLOCK – Post-race sample was taken.

ERROL FIN – Out of position as the start was affected.  No action was taken.

TRALEE SNICKAS – Out of position as the start was affected.  No action was taken.  Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance.  A warning was issued.

SPITFIRE – Out of position as the start was affected.  No action was taken.

DANCE WITH CARMER – Pre-race sample was taken. 

 

RACE 7 – SOMERSET MEATS PACE – 1609 metres

HUXTON NZ – Pre-race sample was taken.  Post-race sample was taken.

 

RACE 8 – THE BLIND BAKER PACE – 1609 metres

CHLOBRO – Pre-race sample was taken.

TINNY MAHONEY – Post-race sample was taken.

 

RACE 9 – GLOBAL BRANDS LIQUOR PACE – 1609 metres

TACKAS PRINCESS – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

WALLAROY BOY – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

ROCKINDOWNUNDER – Had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages of the event.

WAR WESTERN – Post-race sample was taken.

DILETTO – Pre-race sample was taken. 

GUNFIGHTERSGHOST – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance.

 

RACE 10 – THE TAB APP MAIDEN PACE – 1609 metres

RECKLESS CONVICT – Pre-race sample was taken.

TIGERS ON FIRE – Broke stride shortly after the start was affected.  Given its limited race experience TIGERS ON FIRE was excluded from the mobile barrier draw.  Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten a considerable distance.  Connections were it will be stood down until it can requalify on one occasion.

ADERFAKI – Tightened for racing room inside the 100 metres.

HOWITIS – Had a tendency to hang in whilst under pressure over the concluding stages which restricted the racing room of ADERFAKI.  Connections were advised a warning would be issued.

CARPENTER – Post-race sample was taken.   Upon request from connections approval was given for it to be re-included into the mobile barrier draw.
