RACE 1 – CRYSTALS CREATIVES & MYSTICS FAIR SEP 27-28 PACE – 1720 metres
THE BEST OF YOU – Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1400 metres.
LOOKIN GOOD MARGIE – An inquiry will be opened into the circumstances LOOKIN GOOD MARGIE appearing to be checked and galloping approaching the first turn. This inquiry is set to take place on Saturday, 27 September 2025.
SOHO MAJESTIC – An inquiry will be opened into the circumstances surrounding the near side sulky wheel being contacted as runners approached the first turn resulting in driver Michael Stanley being momentarily dislodged in the sulky and sustaining a flat near side tyre. This inquiry is set to take place on Saturday, 27 September 2025. Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1300 metres.
MADAZALWAYS – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. No obvious abnormalities were detected on either examination. Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
TIGER PRINCE – Raced roughly after the start for which a warning was issued. Checked and galloped passing the 150 metres when locking wheels with JOHNNY TANG which had hung out momentarily upon straightening.
NITRO DANNY – Post-race swab sample.
WHEREISHE – Pre-race blood sample. Unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
JOHNNY TANG – Hung out under pressure leaving the 200 metres and locked wheels momentarily with TIGER PRINCE passing the 150 metres and as a result was checked.
RACE 2 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 2125 metres
ROCKNROLL GIG – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
PLAYA BLANCA – Paced roughly momentarily shortly after the start as a result of MAID OF MONEY NZ hanging in momentarily. Over raced during the middle stages of the event.
MAID OF MONEY NZ – Hung in momentarily after the start.
GREY CADILLAC – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. No obvious abnormalities were detected on either examination. Raced three wide in the early and middle stages until working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader passing the 1600 metres.
GOTTADOBETTOR – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader passing the 1800 metres.
KATES VIRTUE – Improved three wide from the 700 metres to race without cover for the remainder of the event.
RACE 3 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1720 metres
SALERO – Pre-race blood sample.
STELLINA – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader leaving the 1200 metres. Stewards questioned trainer R Adams in relation to the performance of the mare in tonight’s event when successful ($34). Mr Adams explained that he was happy with the performance in tonight’s event however noted the mare had performed above his expectations. Post-race swab sample.
PLAYFUL MISS – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until obtaining a position in the running line passing the 1400 metres. Unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
HOMEBOUND – Hung in and contacted marker pegs leaving the 200 metres.
LASTING MEMORY – Unable to secure clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.
RACE 4 – BIRD YARD BIG BAND @ THE PACEWAY OCT 12 PACE – 1720 metres
STORMTIDE – Pre-race blood sample. Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
MR TEDDY NZ – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader passing the 1450 metres and improving to the lead passing the 1300 metres. Post-race swab sample.
OURTREACHEROUS REIGN NZ – Driver K Bigeni was fined $200 under rule 156(3) in that in the home straight on the final occasion he applied his whip in an unapproved manner when applying the whip in a continuous manner and not allowing the horse not time to respond.
PELIGROSSO – Unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight on the final occasion.
TIL HEAVENS ROCKIN NZ – Had its off side sulky wheel contacted passing the 1550 metres when EYE CAN TRY was shifting across its back when looking to obtain a position in the running line. TIL HEAVENS ROCKIN NZ was subsequently retired passing the 1300 metres.
EYE CAN TRY – Contacted the sulky wheel of TIL HEAVENS ROCKIN NZ passing the 1550 metres. In not taking any action against driver R Morris, it was noted that at this stage INDI AIR TONIGHT was easing to obtain a position on the marker pegs and as a result the pace in the running line had been easing at that stage.
RACE 5 – AUSSIE NIGHT MARKETS @ PENRITH SHOWGROUND OCT 12 PACE – 1720 metres
FLO RYDA NZ – Unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight. Post-race swab sample.
MERRYWOOD TONY – Hampered passing the 100 metres when MARATHON MAN NZ shifted up the track to its inside causing MERRYWOOD TONY to be steadied momentarily.
THE GREEK GENERAL – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
NOTHINGBUTWAVES – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader passing the 1250 metres. Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
DOUGS FLAME – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader passing the 1150 metres.
AMERICAN HAMMER NZ – Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
KING TIGER – Stewards questioned driver J Coney in relation to the tactics adopted in particular the reasons KING TIGER raced wide throughout the event. Mr Coney explained that prior to the event he was provided instructions by trainer K Pizzuto to follow THE GREEK GENERAL through and look to obtain the position outside of the leader however passing the 1000 metres Mr Coney explained that it became apparent the position was not going to be available when DOUGS FLAME improved his position. Mr Coney explained that as he had already raced three wide for the first 700 metres he did not believe it would be in his gelding’s best interest to restrain to the tail of the field at that point in the event and he elected to allow his drive to continue to pace in a three wide position. Mr Coney explained that considering the run afforded he was satisfied with the way KING TIGER performed.

RACE 6 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 2125 metres
SOHO WASHINGTON – Post-race swab sample.
INSIDE MAGIC – Hung out under pressure and became unbalance and galloped passing the 50 metres for which a warning was issued.
ECLIPSE LINE – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1800 metres.
HARBOUR SPRINGS – Pre-race blood sample.
SKY CITY NZ – Over raced throughout the event. Unable to secure clear running in the latter stages of the home straight.
MIZZZ ADELE – Improved three wide from the 1850 metres to obtain the position outside of the leader passing the 1550 metres.
THE MALDIVES – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding being 13 years of age and having competed in excess of 200 race starts. No obvious abnormalities were detected on either examination. Over raced throughout the event.
RACE 7 – ROGUE SYNDICATE LIVE @ THE PACEWAY OCT 18 2YO PACE – 1720 metres
CHARLENES DELIGHT – Hampered leaving the 1200 metres when the pace on the marker pegs eased and as a result he improved over to the back of MERRYWOOD LOU momentarily. Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
ROCKY ROAD STAR – Hampered leaving the 1200 metres momentarily when the pace on the marker pegs eased and improved over the back of CRUNCH IT.
MERRYWOOD LOU – Hampered leaving the 1200 metres as the pace in the running line eased and he improved over the back of MAJOR MAVERICK. Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
DYNAMITE DANNI – Post-race swab sample.
STANNUM – Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1400 metres. Hung out under pressure leaving the 200 metres.
CRUNCH IT – Pre-race blood sample. Hampered leaving the 1200 metres when the pace on the marker pegs eased and as a result CRUNCH IT improved over the back of CHARNENES DELIGHT momentarily. Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
RACE 8 – HALLOWEEN FOOD FEST @ THE PACEWAY OCT 30-31 2YO PACE – 1720 metres
THREETWONINE – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
COMPLETE STRANGER – Became unbalanced and galloped passing the 1500 metres for which a warning was issued.
EL VALOR – Slow to score up.
RACE 9 – XTREME BULLS PENRITH TICKETS ON SALES NOW PACE – 1720 metres
BEE MY LOVER – Hung in under pressure in the home straight on the final occasion.
APEX STRIDE – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
ROREY JAY – Over raced throughout the event.
