RACE 1 – ACCESS GROUP SOLUTIONS HVAC TROTTERS STANDING START HANDICAP – 2300 metres

MAJESTIC BREEZE NZ – Hung in and contacted marker pegs in the vicinity of the 400m.

JACKIES GIFT – Swung sideways at the start. Driver G Forrest pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 168(1)(a) when racing into the first turn when restraining to a position closer to the marker pegs, allowed his drive to contact the outside sulky wheel of LAST CLANSMAN resulting in JACKIES GIFT galloping. The licence of Mr Forrest to drive in races was suspended for 7 days with the suspension ordered to commence midnight 29 September 2025. In assessing penalty stewards were mindful of the guilty plea, the previous record of Mr Forrest and that JACKIES GIFT lost its chance to be competitive in the event.

SPEAKS VOLUMES – Galloped clear of interference at the 1600m and a warning was issued against the racing manners of the gelding. Trailed the field for the remainder.

LAST CLANSMAN – Outside sulky wheel contacted racing into the first turn. Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight.  

RUN FOREST RUN NZ – Pre-race sample. Swung sideways at the start.

FONDA RHONDA – Inconvenienced approaching the 1600m when THEBESTBOURBON was being restrained in advance. Galloped a short distance later and a warning was issued. Trailed the field for the remainder.

PROHIBITED LOVE – Galloped out and in assessing the previous record was placed outside the standing start barrier draw.

HES A HAMMER – Trotted roughly for a short distance after the start.

VALLEY STAR NZ – Inconvenienced approaching the first turn when JACKIES GIFT galloped in advance.

THEBESTBOURBON – Held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages.

SPEEDY LOVER – Post-race sample.

 

 

RACE 2 – NUTRIEN EQUNE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO C&G HEAT – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres

AURORA MIGHTY ROB – Tightened for racing room momentarily and inconvenienced between CLASSIC CHIP and COWBOY CULTURE at the 300m.

DYNAMITEDAN – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample. Trainer E Stewart was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have the gear for this runner notified.

CLASSIC CHIP – Driver C Geary was issued a reprimand for causing interference to COWBOY CULTURE in the run to the finish.

COWBOY CULTURE – Inconvenienced over the concluding stages when CLASSIC CHIP shifted out under pressure.

 

RACE 3 – NUTRIEN EQUNE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO C&G HEAT – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres

LOCHINVAR MARCELLO – Trainer K Morris was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have the gear for this runner notified.

NOCTURNAL – Post-race sample.

A BUCK TEN – Pre-race sample.

NOTGUILTY – Showed gate speed before commencing to pace roughly after the start. Galloped a short distance later and trailed the field for the remainder. NOTGUILTY which was having its first race start was placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 4 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres

YIRRADIVA – Pre-race sample.

THE EYE IN THE SKY – Inconvenienced over the concluding stages when BEACHBABE CROCKER hung out under pressure.

BEACHBABE CROCKER – Hung out under pressure, inconveniencing THE EYE IN THE SKY. A warning was issued against the racing manners of BEACHBABE CROCKER.

ONE MORE REASON – Post-race sample.

MISS SAYDEE SLOY – Gave ground to be beaten into 9th position/ 45m. Trainer/ Driver L McCarthy advised that MISS SAYDEE SLOY was displaying signs of being in season. A post-race veterinary examination supported the explanation given by Mr McCarthy however no other abnormalities were detected.  

 

RACE 5 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres

DEGARMEA TEALE – Post-race sample. Hung out under pressure over the final 200m and a warning was issued.

OUR ULTIMATE LEXI – Pre-race sample. Trainer J Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have gear for the filly recorded.

PAPI ROCKS – Galloped in the first attempt of the score up checking runners drawn to the outside. As a result, a false start was declared. Driver R Morris pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 154(1) for failing to take all corrective measures to ensure that PAPI ROCKS did not interfere with other runners when in a gallop. In assessing the circumstances surrounding the occurrence and the guilty plea of Mr Morris a fine of $200 was imposed. At the second attempt paced roughly after the start with the filly being placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

SMOOTH JESSIE – Re-included in the mobile barrier draw.

 

 

RACE 6 – AGNES BANKS PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT PACE – 1609 metres

GENTLE GIANT – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.

BENTLEY BULLET – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.

 

RACE 7 – CORDINA CHICKEN FARMS FIRST PAST THE POST PACE – 1609 metres

MICHAEL CAINE NZ – Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight.

UNCLE TIGER – Pre-race sample.

CRUNCHIE DIVA – Post-race sample.

AGIFTFROMTHEANGLES – Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight.

EXPLOSIVE BRONSKI – Approaching the first turn when attempting to gain a position in the two-wide line, hung out marginally. As a result, BROOKESSMARTDANCER, which was trailing contacted the outside sulky wheel of EXPLOSIVE BRONKSI and galloped.

BROOKESSMARTDANCER – Contacted the outside sulky wheel of EXPLOSIVE BRONKSI, which hung out, approaching the first turn and galloped.

 

RACE 8 – D M PLUMBING PACE – 1609 metres

WEONA SIR VIVOR – Tightened when racing along the peg line rounding the first turn.

SHARK DANCER – Driver S Piltz was issued with a reprimand for tightening the racing room of WEONA SIR VIVOR rounding the first turn. Driver S Piltz pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for failing to make sufficient effort to correct his drive leaving the 100m resulting in MISTER JONES NZ, which was racing to the outside being checked and galloping. The licence of Mr Piltz to drive in races was suspended for 14 days with the suspension commencing midnight 7 October 2025. In assessing penalty stewards were mindful of the interference caused to MISTER JONES NZ, the contributing factors prior to the incident and the previous record of Mr Piltz under this rule.

HEEZA MALTEEZA – Post-race sample.

MISTER JONES NZ – Checked and galloped when the sulky of SHARK DANCER contacted the hind leg of the gelding leaving the 100m.

 

RACE 9 – BE HAPPY MACH @ WINGATE FARM PACE – 1609 metres

SOHO THE REAL DEAL – Post-race sample.

PRINCE OF PEACE – Over-raced during the middle stages.

OUR UNCLE JIM – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.

TINDER SURPRISE NZ – Pre-race sample.

RED REACTOR NZ – Held up over the final 400m and unable to be fully tested at any stage in the run to the finish.
