RACE 1 – IRT YOUR HORSE OUR PASSION TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres

JACKIES GIFT – Held up during the early part of the straight.

KISS AT MIDNIGHT – Pre-race blood sample.  The all clear of this event was delayed to allow Stewards the opportunity to review the available replays in relation to 2^nd placed KISS AT MIDNIGHT breaking gait at approximately the 30 metres and to determine whether KISS AT MIDNIGHT had gained any advantage whilst in a gallop to the detriment of another runner.  After taking evidence from driver Gavin Fitzpatrick and review of the available replays it was established that KISS AT MIDNIGHT had broken gait at the 30 metres when already positioned ahead of 3^rd placed BERTINELLI and the all clear was subsequently given on the judge’s placings.  Given the recent record of KISS AT MIDNIGHT, the filly will now be placed on its last chance to race truly.

ONE PINEVALE HILL – Post-race swab sample.

MAJESTIC BREEZE NZ – Broke clear of interference approaching the 300 metres.  In view of the mare’s recent poor record it will now be stood down from racing for a period of 10 days and until the satisfactory completion of two trials.

 

RACE 2 – NATIONALTROTGUIDE.COM.AU TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres

ITZ TRIXTON TIME NZ – Inconvenienced passing the 400 metres when MOONWALKA commenced to hang in and trot roughly resulting in ITZ TRIXTON TIME NZ shifting out checking RACING EYES.

LAST CLANSMAN – Pre-race blood sample. 

TIGER TEE – Trainer Kevin Pizzuto was fined $100 under Rule 210 for failing to declare Bailey McDonough as the driver of the mare until race morning. 

RACING EYES – Inconvenienced and broke passing the 300 metres when MOONWALKA commenced to hang in and trot roughly resulting in ITZ TRIXTON TIME NZ which was following being inconvenienced and shifting out.

MOONWALKA – Hung in and trotted roughly passing the 400 metres.

 

RACE 3 – CONDELL PARK PRODUCE TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres

PROHIBITED LOVE – Galloped out and a warning was issued.  Broke clear of interference passing the 300 metres and a further warning was issued.

PESCO POLLO – Post-race swab sample.

IMPACT STRIDE – Pre-race blood sample.  Broke approaching the 400 metres and a warning was issued.

ALDEBARAN JENSEN – Broke passing the 800 metres and a warning was issued.

 

RACE 4 – OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS @ APG SALES PACE – 1609 metres

REIGN MAKER – Post-race swab sample.

WATCH ME REACT – Pre-race blood sample. 

 

RACE 5 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO C & G HEAT – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres

DOUBLE LOU – Hung in passing the 600 metres before shifting out slightly making contact with SPITFIRE, which was positioned tight to its outside, resulting in DOUBLE LOU pacing roughly for a short distance as a consequence.  It was noted at the completion of the event that DOUBLE LOU had cast its near fore shoe.

HALF HOLIDAY – Pre-race warm up. 

MYTH YOU ALREADY – Broke passing the 600 metres and a warning was issued.

MAC BON – Post-race swab sample.

SET UP – Pre-race blood sample. 

 

RACE 6 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres

NAMAKA – Pre-race blood sample.  Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 7 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO C & G HEAT – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres

MAC THUNDER – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the gelding to have sustained a laceration to the near fore coronet band.  Connections were advised that MAC THUNDER would require a veterinary clearance prior to racing.

TRIED AND TRUSTED –

ERROL FIN – Trainer Roy Roots Jnr was fined $100 under Rule 210 for failing to declare Robert Morris as the driver of the gelding until race morning. 

SINALOA – Post-race swab sample.

JETTER SON – Declared a late scratching at 9.19am acting on veterinary advice.

MATT GREGORS BOY – Pre-race blood sample. 

 

RACE 8 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres

The start of this event was delayed avoiding a clash with Race 3 from Kilcoy.

SHE THE DEVIL – Held up inside the final 50 metres.

GUNNA RELOAD – Pre-race blood sample.  Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 9 – WOODLANDS STUD STALLIONS – THE MARKET LEADER PACE – 1609 metres

D J ROCK NZ – Held from the early part of the straight.

HUXTON NZ – Post-race swab sample.

MISTER JONES NZ – Pre-race blood sample. 

ONYX SHARD NZ –

SUNSET STRIDE – Trainer Scott Hewitt was fined $50 under Rule 210 for failing to declare Chloe Formosa as the driver of the mare by the prescribed time. 

 

RACE 10 – PRYDE’S EASIPERFORMANCE PACE – 1609 metres

OUTSIDE FIGHTER – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races.  These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.  Inconvenienced passing the 500 metres when PRINCE OF PEACE commenced to give ground.

MACH DA VINCI NZ –

CAULONIA COURAGE – Pre-race blood sample.  Presented on course in accordance with the requirements of the HRNSW Elevated TCO2 Policy.  Held up during the early part of the straight.  Post-race swab sample.

ARGGGHHH – Pre-race blood sample.  Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to the gelding having sustained a laceration above the near side eye.  ARGGGHHH was subsequently cleared to start. Trainer Michael Stanley was reminded of his obligation under the rules to report any injury, illness or condition to Stewards as soon as possible. 

MASTER CATCH – Inconvenienced passing the 500 metre when PRINCE OF PEACE commenced to give ground.
